This rehab Center has a terrible, obnoxious, haughty and rude, nurse practitioner. He was in charge…read moreof prescribing and coordinating medicines for my wife during her recent stay there. He never consulted us or discussed pros and cons of the medicines and changed them without us knowing the side effects or interactions among them. I had to constantly go and ask him about them. One day he got extremely angry and yelled out "How many times do I have to tell you. Get out of here. I'm not taking care of your wife. Take your wife and go. Get out. Go." I was totally shaken and stunned. I told him he was not the owner. I wanted to talk to his boss, the medical director. He flippantly answered." Go ahead and talk to him. I am not his son." I complained to the Administrator and the medical director later. They both said they were reassign his area, but really didn't since he was at his nursing station whenever he worked,on our floor. They didn't fire him or even admonish him as I could tell. This kind of egregious professional misconduct should not be tolerated anywhere in rehab centers. These employees work there because of patients and rehab centers are open because of patients. There were times when medicines would be delayed, even after asking for them up to an hour. All in all most of the supervisors, nurses, aides, PT staff, admissions staff and receptionists were very nice people. The food is not good and we had to bring it from outside most of the time. I'm giving this place a one star because this nurse practitioner ruined everything for us. We were in the middle of rehabilitation, so didn't want to change Centers. I'm thinking of complaining about him to the New York State education department, National Health Care Associates (owners of Bel-Air, ) and Medicare among others. Anybody considering putting their loved one here , is strongly cautioned about a possible similar horrible experience to ours and should think about it very carefully.

The pace was awesome and the instructors were well versed in this area. This course touched on all learning styles. Visual, Auditory and Tactile. I'm so happy I renewed my CPR ID. You never know when you'll be in a situation and have to save someone's life.

Park Funeral's hair and make up team are amazing! Grandma looked beautiful and at peace. Park Funeral Parlor's pricing was the best by thousands of dollars. Some funeral places quoted us at 30-50% more money for the same exact amenities, viewing, casket, cards, limousines, etc. I learned that Park is a family owned business that goes back four generations. They are not corporate and this is why they were so flexible. This family is truly empathetic and blessed our family with their care and services for our Grandma.

The estimate was clear and understandable on one sheet of paper. No gimmicks. Went to 2 other funeral homes with pages and pages of prices and they ended up being thousands of dollars more for the same services. My dad died on a Sunday and even though we didn't get to prepay, they picked up the phone at 6am and started making all the arrangements for picking my dad up from the hospital. It was such a relief. We didn't have to do anything. By noon the same day, the website was up with my dad's information. Everything worked out so smoothly. They didn't try to take advantage of an emotional situation. We were searching nonstop looking for the right place to get our 2yearold son started in the world. It's hard too explain, but we just didn't get a good vibe from other places. They felt to heartless and business-y. From the very first email from Red Robin, everything was different. The response was warm and welcoming. And even given our unique situation, Red Robin didn't turn us away. They made it clear that, if the fit was right for our son's development, they would do whatever was within their power to work with us. And they did, and we are beyond grateful!!! Red Robin was the right place at the right time for us! Our son has only been in school for a few weeks and he's grown so much: from barely being able to interact with kids his own age to now, wanting to see his friends and teachers every day he's not in school; he also knows his letters, and can (sometimes) count to five; he even tells mini stories about playing in the waterpark, etc. It's absolutely amazing to witness our son flourish the way he has at Red Robin. Oh, and yes!, they have a mini water park area outside... and an on-site pool for their summer camp, and a horse =D But more importantly, the staff is wonderful. Our son loves them all and that puts us at so much ease. This place is really awesome!!!!!
