Doctor squeezed her hernia and proceeded to say it wasn't bad and for it to be taken care of later, by that time it strangled itself and she had to get part of her intestine removed. That hernia is the second worst pain she's felt in her life; up there with intussusception. Worse than childbirth. Wish they listened to her screams of agony or put a little more effort into their steak quesadillas.

I am extremely upset that my experience at this office was absolutely horrible, and I will not be returning. I have never felt more like a number than right now. The lack of care is extremely disappointing. I had a procedure in this office; again, I went here because they were listed as in my network. To my surprise, this office uses a different lab and sent it to a separate Doctor to review my results. Now this Doctor who I have not seen and did not know about was not in-network with my insurance. Now I have received a $530 bill in the middle of a pandemic and no explanation as to why it was sent to someone my insurance didn't cover. The receptionist handled my phone call poorly, told me I needed to speak to billing. I asked her why I would talk to them when it was their office that failed. She then placed me on hold without telling me, which I was stuck on for 15 minutes, just to be told, "Well, did you ask what lab they were sending it to?" I am a new patient, and I assumed that this was taken care of in their office, with their lab with the Doctor that I had been seeing. If they had cared, they would have taken a better look at my insurance and sent it to the correct one since there are apparently multiple. The receptionist was busy trying to rush me off the phone at this point and told me I would receive a call from a manager and no surprise to me I have not heard from anyone. Another note I would like to make, they made a surgical appointment for me without my consent, not even a phone call other than the one I got to "confirm" the surgery. Fixing that was a nightmare because of their hours, not being able to leave a voicemail, and no email. Never have I been to an office where they just make your appointment for you without calling/asking what your schedule is, especially for surgery! I understand I am just one patient out of the many they see, but this is unacceptable. I want to stress that anyone thinking of making an appointment even though it says they are in your network make sure you ask the "correct" questions.

From signing in to taking a seat to being called to register, taking vitals and having an x-ray, I interacted with five professionals. Every one of them had an attitude... A great attitude! This place was like an ant farm with every room taken. I continue to be very appreciative of every one of them that chose this profession. I wish people would take a little bit of time and be thankful for what these folks have trained and studied and practiced to do what they do... Help you get better!

I was referred to Dr. Isaacs by my orthopedic surgeon to determine whether my bone tumor was an enchondroma or chondrosarcoma:. Prior to him entering the room, his nurse told me that they didn't receive the image of the x-ray,, but they only were able to view the written x-ray summary/notes. She asked me if I had a disk of the x-ray, and I told her no. Dr. Isaacs rushed in about 5 minutes later and said that based on what he can see from the x-ray, he doesn't think it's a bone tumor, before even examining my hand. Then, when I told him that I had surgery on that finger for an enchondroma in 2015, he then walks over and examines it and says, "Okay, so, it's probably a reoccurring enchondroma then, but let me take another set of x-rays to see." This tells me that he did not even review my file thoroughly, if at all. He rushed through my appointment and really gave me no new information other than what we already knew, and then, when I told him that I was experiencing pain in that finger, he attributed it to my anxiety. I took off a full day of work, wasted gas and time for absolutely nothing.
