I rescheduled the appointment and left for work. Today, I had an appointment at 8:10 am..arrived early and here it is 8:50, the office is empty and I still have not been seen? I realize the Dr is a professional, but I am too! I set appointments and I show up on time, or I advise someone if I am running late. I have a business to run, and inconsideration of this Office and Dr are distrusting the lives of others that depend on me at my Office. But I bet if I was late or didn't show up, I would be pushed to the back of the line or charged! Totally inconsiderate of any one else's time!

Whenever I have an appointment, I don't wait more than 10 minutes to be called in. The people who do the bloodwork here are incredible. No fishing around for veins, they know exactly what they're doing. I've never had an issue until my last visit where they forgot to test for one panel I had asked for. While I was annoyed about this (they blamed it on being short staffed), I decided it could wait for another 6 months before my next panel. I would recommend this office!

They seem to prefer to do telemed appointments, which are not very helpful and cost the same as a regular visit. I am on the younger end of the age span of his patients so take from it what you will. The front desk woman was a bit short, as if she had dealt with an onslaught of frustrating people, but was still professional. My wait time was short for my appointment - I arrived at 1:20pm for my 1:30pm appointment with my new patient paperwork filled out. The nurse, Stephanie, was sweet and efficient. Not 45 seconds after she walked out, Dr. Turner was in the room. He's not much of a talker and I might have read him as disinterested if I didn't know better - he's anything but. He was thorough and expeditious in his physical and assessment. The phlebotomist was very nice; unfortunately, it felt like she drove a piling into my arm and then fished around for a vein before giving up and trying the other. I'm not a huge fan of needles but I can generally donate blood without much fuss - it was a pretty rough stick. As I was leaving, I spoke with Dr. Turner again and he was more animated and very comforting about my concerns. Despite negative reviews I've seen, my first impression was overall positive. The front desk and phlebotomy left something to be desired but not even close to a true issue.

He is friendly and efficient, and I've witnessed the patience and kindness of the receptionists as they helped an elderly lady who mistakenly came to the office on a wrong day. My husband developed severe abdominal pains, stopped by the office, and was sent immediately to the hospital. This quick action saved his life. If you need to contact Dr. Turner after hours, there is always a doctor on call to help with your issues. What more can you want in a GP?

Our second visit was much worse, she (same nurse as the 1st visit) claimed we missed our last appointment, I then had to explain what went on during our first visit and her response was "forget what I said then". She asked about medication which I again explained I brought all of that info to the first visit but apparently that info wasn't taken down. The doctor was nice, a little more informative but I still had reservations about this place. Eventually one of our visits landed us on the "plumbing" side. That visit was A++! It's honestly the only reason we keep coming. The nursing staff and doctors are so much more pleasant and answered any and all of our questions. The front office staff is excellent. They are alway professional and courteous and willing to answer any of your questions.

Wait times can be long but that's because he takes his time answering patients' questions and is not a 'rush in rush out' doctor. I would have given 5 stars exept the post op instructions need improvement. I would advice anyone who is post op to not be shy - call with questions no matter how minor - they will get back with you - more promptly after hours. Bottom line - the work done has been a success.
