Since it was my very first CPR class, I really can't compare to other providers. However, I've taken many classes and instructors are instrumental in a student's success-this class being no exception. Darryl made a four hour mandatory class informative, enjoyable, and memorable. I hope I never have to use what I learned-but rest assured, should I ever be in a life threatening situation that requires medical intervention, I'm now well prepared. Not my first choice in how to spend a Saturday morning/afternoon, but the time flew with Darryl at the helm. Darryl, I'll see you before or when I need to re-certify in two years! Glad I passed the test:) Thank you!!

I had one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I've ever had with a plasma…read moredonation center. I live in Framingham and had to travel all the way to Worcester to donate at BioLife Plasma, believing everything was fine. I created an account, scheduled my donation, and followed all the steps required -- and nowhere on the website or app does it state that people who take PrEP (a medication that prevents HIV infection) are not allowed to donate. Because of this, I lost a full day of work, arrived late to my job, and spent over two hours waiting at the donation center, only to be told at the end that I couldn't donate simply because I take a medication that keeps me healthy and prevents disease. It's absolutely unacceptable that this crucial information is not clearly disclosed during the registration process. This lack of transparency caused me to waste my time, money, and energy -- all of which could have been easily avoided if the system had been upfront about it. On top of that, I was told I would need to "stop taking the medication for three months" just to be eligible to donate, which is completely unreasonable. PrEP is a preventive medication that promotes health and safety; no one should be asked to stop taking it to donate plasma. I strongly urge BioLife to review its communication and registration policies and to add a clear notice about donor eligibility for those taking PrEP, before people create an account or schedule a donation. This was a waste of time, money, and energy -- and it could easily happen to others if nothing changes.

I expected a more professional and respectful atmosphere. Could just be me but I believe should have an overall meeting on what conversation to have while in a professional clinic after all we are trying to save lives thank you.
