From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The office has a great vibe -- professional, upbeat, and friendly. The doctor was exceptional. He has an incredible sense of humor that immediately puts you at ease, but when it comes to your vision he is completely dialed in. The technology and equipment are clearly state-of-the-art, and he took the time to carefully fine-tune everything so our vision was exactly right. It felt both thorough and personalized. The frame selection was also fantastic -- stylish, high-quality options you don't typically see everywhere. What stood out most was the attitude of the entire team. Everyone was respectful, encouraging, and genuinely helpful. We walked out feeling not only well taken care of, but truly grateful to have found such an outstanding practice. Our recommendation: give QT Optometry a try -- even if you have to drive a little farther. After this experience, we can't imagine going anywhere else for our eye care. If you're looking for a great optometrist and a team that truly cares about getting your vision right, QT Optometry is absolutely worth the visit.

So I figured I had scratched my cornea the night before while trying to take my contacts out after I had fallen asleep watching tv on the couch. Called my insurance for the closest optometrist around me. I called about five on the list, but no one could squeeze me in. Until I reached this office, they had me in within the hour! Turns out my eye was ok, but just oxygen deprived and inflamed. I'm a medical student so I spend more than 8 hrs studying and looking at a computer. For the last 2 years my right eye has constantly felt tired and strained. I had a sensation like my right eye was being pulled down! All the other Drs I had gone to kept telling me everything was fine and they made me feel like it was all in my head. Since Dr. Fong was so knowledgeable and thorough, I decided that I would give her a try. So I made an appointment for my annual exam for my glasses and contacts. She was able to get me in that same week, which was today. She spent 1 hr and 15 min with me on my exam. I have worn glasses since the 4th grade and over the 22 years no optometrist has ever spent that much time with me. She even used certain tests that had never been used during my previous exams with other Drs. I was so happy to leave there with my new prescription. Dr.Fong was very patient, she truly cared and listened. She actually believed what I was describing to her was really happening. She was very detail oriented and thorough that I know for sure we figured out my correct prescription!! I definitely recommend her.

I've had to wear glasses since in elementary school! I've been to many Optometrist offices. And…read morelet me tell you, I truly appreciate how Dr Murphy is so passionate about providing the best care for his patients. The technology used is mind blowing! After receiving care here, I've come to realize how OLD SCHOOL many private offices and even huge retail chains are. "Is one better, two better?" "Here is your prescription"... "Here is an eye drop for that".. "See you next year!". For the longest time, I thought my vision had gotten worse. I was constantly trying to refocus especially on the computer. Come to find out, it was dry eye and my prescription had not changed! MGD!?? Did ANY doctor mention that to me before or ask the questions needed to figure that out?? Nope! I received a Dry Eye Treatment and my world changed. Now I can wear my contacts all day without being blurry or uncomfortable and no more having to blink hard to refocus all the time. They also educated me quite some time ago on the harm light from computers can do to my eyes. "Blue light". Since I stare at a computer all day I have a blue light protector on my glasses. My eyes and head don't feel as achy by the end of the day. Now I'm starting to see all these places promote blue light protection. Sorry people my Doctor was on that first! I also spend about 50 bucks more and get "digital lenses"! The clarity is honestly unbelievable for me being that I have a higher prescription. I'm so impressed with the level of care here compared to ANYWHERE I've been in the last 20+ years and appreciate Eye Designs and Dr. Murphy for changing my life. Forever a patient!

If I could give this place a negative 10, I would. I've been…read morea patient at Eye Designs Optometry for at least 30 years, and I've never had any issues with the ophthalmologists--the eye exams have always been thorough and professional. Unfortunately, the front office service has gone downhill over the past few years. Because of pricing and the declining service, I stopped purchasing my glasses there. However, after my most recent annual eye exam last month, I decided to give them another try. That turned out to be a mistake. The technician who helped me choose frames didn't listen to what I was looking for and instead kept pushing her personal preferences--mainly designer brands like Gucci and Tom Ford. I clearly explained what I wanted, but she ignored it. I eventually found a frame myself, but the overall experience was so uncomfortable that I left before completing the order. A few days later, I returned and asked for a different technician. I completed my purchase and paid over $500 for my glasses. After waiting about 2 1/2 weeks, I received a notification that they were ready for pickup. When I got there, I discovered the glasses were missing a nose pad that I had specifically requested and paid extra for. When I brought this up, instead of an apology, I was asked, "Let me check if you paid for it." It was clearly on the order and already paid. I was then told to wait for a manager to call me when she returned to work. No one called. I had to follow up myself the next day, and when I finally spoke with the manager, I was given the runaround with no real resolution or accountability. After many years as a loyal patient, this is incredibly disappointing. The lack of customer service, poor communication, and dismissive attitude are unacceptable. I will not be returning. I sincerely hope Dr. Murphy is made aware of how the front office is treating long-time patients.

This one frame was in my favorite color, very minimalistic like I wanted, and with their fabulous lenses. This is why I don't shop for glasses online: the online outfits don't offer the super duper lenses that JC Penney offer, not only nonreflective and extra thin but an additional improvement that they used to call High Definition (I was a customer of their Santa Rosa outfit previously). Strangely, these lenses hardly even get dirty. I found out that JC Penney Optical is NOT owned by the huge conglomerate Luxottica, which is a huge reason glasses got so expensive. I ended up paying $200 less than I have paid for my glasses in years past! The staff did an expert fitting when the glasses arrived, and I no longer have to push them up my nose.

I tried to go this place on Sunday to redeem my Groupon for prescription glasses/sunglasses and…read morethey were closed which was annoying but I was like ok, I guess I misread when I looked up the store a few weeks ago, ago so whatever I guess I will just go on Monday after work.I however looked up the hours online and it said they were open on Sunday from 12-6 which means either their website hasn't been updated in forever or something else. So I got there Monday after work around 5:30-5:40 and there were already two people being helped and another person came in after me. I already had my glasses picked out and when it was my turn I talked to some young girl and she told me she didn't know how to run a Groupon for the system and she would have her manager call me. First of all there is something shady about the fact that she first asked me if I had prescription with me and then told me she didn't know how to do it. I've used Groupon at a variety of locations and from what I've noticed all they have to do is redeem the code which doesn't seem that hard to me. The only other issue I've had with Groupon is trying to redeem one at a business that actually closed. I feel like it was close to closing time and she didn't want to take the effort to figure it out which annoys me because it's not like I wanted to come into this place after work but they weren't open on Sunday. I also looked at the Groupon website and it showed that 83% people of 3824 recommended it, and there are only 4 locations you can use it at? So none of the people came to the one located in Sunrise mall? I mean I know it it's not that great of a mall but I can't be the first one that tried to redeem it there. I mean don't put a groupon out if you don't want to deal with it (yeah, I know it's corporate but still you would think a BUSINESS would be better organized) I'm getting really tired of these young kids who feel entitled to a job but not to work. I mean I know you are doing a job that someone else doesn't want to do, but you still have to do it. It makes me actually can't wait for the day when I don't have to deal with shoddy customer service and we have machines take our orders because at least they will do what they are supposed to do. And if she really didn't know and she was new, why was she the only one there? You would think that they would at least leave someone alone only if they knew what they were doing, but I guess not. Also while I was waiting I was looking at their other discount signs and it had so many requirements to be able to use it, it was ridiculous (can't use it with insurance, other discounts, etc), you're better off just going to Costco for anything you need.
