He has an incredible sense of humor that immediately puts you at ease, but when it comes to your vision he is completely dialed in. The technology and equipment are clearly state-of-the-art, and he took the time to carefully fine-tune everything so our vision was exactly right. It felt both thorough and personalized. The frame selection was also fantastic -- stylish, high-quality options you don't typically see everywhere. What stood out most was the attitude of the entire team. Finally found a good optometrist! When we moved to Folsom, I had a hard time finding an optometrist that was thorough and kind. Thanks to yelp, I was able to find this one! This place is located in the same complex as Safeway. With that said there's plenty of parking in the area. When you first walk in, you will find a variety of different types of glasses/ sunglasses. The receptionist is located right in the middle and can easily be found. The office has a quirky personality with Pokémon, decorations found throughout! The receptionist was kind and was able to help me get checked in right away. Most importantly, the optometrist was awesome! He was very thorough in his exam which I had a hard time finding locally. He even has a good sense of humor. Overall, if you're looking for a great optometrist, you found the right one! Bonus, they even take VSP! read more

I was disappointed in the communications of this establishment. The tech who meet me at the front counter and did the initial eye tests never introduced herself. 3 visits and I still don't know her name. They only book 15 minutes for a first visit. Which I've never had before so I had to come back in 2 days to finish the first appt. And those tests? I still don't know the results and I called 3 times. read more

Great doctors office. I literally had no wait time. They took me exactly at the minute my appointment was. When we went back into the room I sat down in the chair and the doctor walked in. Literally 0 wait time. Dr Q was so nice! Especially since I brought in my two chatty girls. He was also able to diagnose me with a rare eye disorder that only affects 2% to 3% of the worlds population. That's a super scary situation but Dr Q made me feel completely at ease. Great Doctor and staff. Dr Q. Put me at ease, not any easy task given my anxiety around having anyone near my eyes. His staff was great taking extra time and having patience while my wife tried on multiple frames to find just the right pair. They checked my insurance up front and made sure I understood my coverage so there were no surprises. Dr Q. has the tech to do digital scans of your eye, which I really prefer to having my eyes dilated. Dr. Quinn and his office staff are the best at treating you like their most important customer. They are professional, friendly and courteous. I was new to the area and happened to move to within 2 blocks of their office. Since then I moved a little farther out of Folsom but will gladly continue my annual exam here. On my first visit, I was at-once impressed because the Dr. felt my older prescription would still be sufficient and appropriate today for my eyes, no new Rx-- I was worried that I hadn't taken time to been seen in at least 2yrs. and have my Rx checked because 4 years flew by since my prescription was done!--we all can relate to this right?). Not only did the Dr. ease my mind but their honesty also meant I saved about $150.00 for the unnecessary prescription. That kind of honesty doesn't always happen. By far best experience at an Optometry office! My glasses broke and I really needed to get in for an exam, new sun glasses, and contact lenses. Courtney was very efficient and professional! She was able to get me an appointment for same day! When I first came in, I was greeted by Courtney promptly and was whisked away to be seen by the doctor within five minutes of me stepping into the store! As for the doc there, I have to say, Dr. Q is awesome: easy going, efficient, and professional! He was able to get me new contact lenses on the same day!
