I came with hundreds of fellow Mets fans for some tailgating before another disastrous baseball game. I grabbed a seat at the bar which is stocked with coat hangers and outlets for device charging. There was a special on several beverages, but I went with the $5 Nutrls, one pineapple and one orange. and maybe a few beers as well. For food, I ordered the loaded guacamole with chopped thick slab bacon, black beans, corn, pico, cotija cheese, lime wedge, and a side of tortilla chips. The ingredients were all layered on top before I mixed everything into the avocado. The flavor was amazing. Each bite of the bacon mixed in was manna from heaven. Thankfully, I walked so I did not have to deal with paying for parking or searching for a space. Alexis was so sweet and engaging too. If I'm back in Miami, I will definitely return.

We showed up around 9pm and were seated outside right away. My friend and I were starving and honestly cared more about eating than the view, so we were happy to take the first two-top available near the hostess stand. We were greeted by Maya, who was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. I ordered the mahi sliders with fried Brussels sprouts, and my friend had the steak melt. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot exactly when we needed it. We also ended the night with dessert, which was the perfect finish to the meal. Between the quick seating, great food, and Maya's excellent service, we had such a great experience. Definitely a solid spot for a fun night out, casual dinner, or drinks with friends. We'll definitely be back!

Great spot to watch sports events and enjoy good food. Came tonight for World Cup Watch party for USA game. Happy hour ends at 7pm but there were no Game Day Specials for any matches. On Wednesday Bottles of wine under $100 is half off. Food- Am So Burger - Big & Juicy and Brussel Sprouts for the win! Server Capree was the best

Food here is actually good for a bar. The outdoor bar is the best vibe overlooking the river. It's spacious as well. They have some fun drinks as well including towers of espresso martinis.

I love this place... They're deviled eggs are the best I've ever had. They have candied bacon on them. The staff is friendly and it's got a cool location where the yachts float by.

American Social is one of my go-to spots and the perfect place to sit outside by the water. It definitely gives sports bar vibes, but a classier version. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, but the outdoor area is my favorite, especially when the weather is nice. I usually order the truffle melt sandwich, but this time I tried the steak fried rice and it was amazing. So flavorful and a great switch up. The service overall was great. The only small hiccup was with the coffee. We ordered hot coffee and it was forgotten at first, and when it finally came out it was cold, which was a little disappointing. That aside, this is still a place I'll always come back to. It's great for food, drinks, and watching games, and the atmosphere by the water really makes it worth it.

I ordered the Chicken B.L.A.T. Sandwich without the mustard and for drinks, me and my friend ordered the Guava Glow Mojito as our cocktail. The Chicken B.L.A.T. Sandwich was tasty, and it came with SO many fries! For the price, it wasn't bad at all. My only critique was the bacon was listed as jalapeño bacon, but it just tasted like regular bacon. The drink was unfortunately the disappointment of the night. It did not taste like guava at all or a mojito, and was also pretty strong. Our overall experience was fine, but I would pass on the cocktail for sure.

A girlfriend and I had a great night stopping by American Social for some happy hour cocktails after deciding to spend the night in Brickell this evening. The evening was clear, and a great time was had. Our server was a blonde woman that was super knowledgeable about drinks when we questioned and the restaurant mission and culture. She was quick to get our appetizer and drinks out and make us feel right at home. We ordered the goat cheese croquettes and the spinach and artichoke dip. Both were served hot and tasted fantastic. The dip never disappoints here. It always has a ton of chips accompany it as well which is appreciated. I ordered the Smoke Signals and Spicy Guava Rita. They were both super flavorful and tasted fresh and without generic sour mix.

SUCH A COOL SPOT! My best friend got married (AHHHHH!) a few weeks ago and she had her rehearsal dinner here. After the dinner, we hung out and enjoyed the fully stocked bar. I got the mahi mahi sliders and their specialty mezcal drink, both were expertly crafted. Seriously, some of the best sliders I've had in a min. There was only one bartender on the floor when we got there but Emely Seijais (Sei!) made sure to take AMAZING care of us. Definitely a great spot for dinner, to hang with friends and have a memorable night also it's right by the water and the sunset view is unmatched

Easter brunch at American Social 8/10 Charlie was our server and he was awesome! Super nice and very very attentive. He made sure we felt comfortable with him from the jump and kept up conversations with us all throughout!! 10/10 Food & drinks - We had a white sangria & espresso martini's and they were DELICIOUS! One of the best Sangria's i've ever had... 10/10 In terms of flavor, the dip was good but sort of watery so I would give it a 6/10 just because of consistency. For food we had the turkey club 8/10, AMSO burger 7/10, pimento cheese polenta 6/10, & CTC french toast 8/10. Parking - Valet for $18 (cash only) or Street Parking PBP (tricky because theres never really any available parking). Overall, we will definitely be returning! The ambiance was good, music was good, and service was great!

We stopped by American Social on a Saturday afternoon and had a great time. They were still serving their brunch menu, which was completely different from the dinner menu. We sat outside with a nice view of the Miami River and all the boats passing by. They have fans to help with the heat, but there's only so much you can do against a Miami summer day. We started with the French Toast Sticks and Loaded Guac, then ordered the Smashburger, Black Pepper Shrimp & "Not Grits," the Breakfast Plate, and the Steak Fried Rice. The food was good across the board, and the atmosphere was super chill, perfect for catching up with friends. One thing that really stood out was the service. We noticed a couple of Jim Beam hats on display and asked if they were for sale. Our server went to check, and a few minutes later came back with both hats and gave them to us. Such a cool and unexpected gesture that made the experience even better.

Great place! The manager Amber and the bartender Jules were great, and accomodated us for the long wait on drinks and food. The food was delicious. The inside was not crowded which made the experience more enjoyable. Would definitely return.

I think they fit Miami well, and are slight twists in classic drink options. Our bartender was awesome. She was super knowledgeable and helpful in making recommendations as we decided what to order, and you can tell she really put effort into making sure the drinks were good. The drinks were really good! My only complaint is the price. Of course handcrafted cocktails are expensive, especially in Miami, but wow. The drinks were really small, and had so much ice that they ended up being not very many sips at all. They were definitely good, but the very small size for almost $20 a drink was kind of outrageous.

The bar was lit, poppin' and vibrant. We were waiting by the end of the counter where they checked out other patrons near the sitting area. We were overlooked many times... I locked eyes with one of the bartender and she completely looked away from me.. several times :( took about 15 minutes and we reached our arms out and flagged bartender Reilly. Her greeting and attention was genuine so I was happy to get her. Unfortunately, she got busy and we got the initial lady that ignored us. She was not kind, not attentive and didn't really want to help us - she was very fake. With that being said, we had to remind her of our drinks after 20 minutes of placing the order, in which she responded with an attitude "it's being made. We're busy" -_- -_- :( the attitude was not needed. We watched others that came in before us being served. :( I was completely annoyed and upset. She didn't even bring the drinks to us like the other bartenders were doing, she made us get it. Poor service from this one bartender while the others were happy and servicing their patrons. After our first drinks, I noticed she spoke to her colleague and he came over and asked if we wanted to close out.. . Wtf kicking us out? We said no and he opened a tab. When she noticed we were ordering more, she was a bit more attentive. So wrong. Luckily, the drinks were delicious. Perfect. We did end up coming back to the Lasseter and got a gentleman bartender that was so kind and attentive and made our drinks even better! The attention to detail and love he made in my drinks, so that is why I decided to make make this a 3 stars rather than two. He saved this place. The toilet sitting area is very warm, not very air conditioned properly so expect to be a little warm especially after a couple of sips. It's also the walkway to an actual big restrooms for the whole building. The drinks are VERY pricy but the setting is perfect and makes up for it. Unfortunately, the service was not up to par. Disney priced drinks without the Disney customer service. Do I want to come back? Yes. Am I going to be picky with the vibes coming from the bartender and chose who to go to? Also yes. Hopefully, I can increase the rating.

The biggest thing for me was the overall energy and engagement from the staff. I'm naturally a pretty social and engaged person, especially when I'm sitting at a bar, and I made an effort to interact with the bartenders. I just didn't really feel that same engagement coming back. Nobody was necessarily rude or disrespectful--it just felt disconnected, and the energy was a little strange to me. I also didn't realize until I tried to pay that the bar doesn't accept cash. Maybe that was posted somewhere and I missed it, and once they told me, it wasn't a big deal. But little things like that, combined with the overall interaction, affected the experience. Another thing I didn't realize until receiving my check was that gratuity was already included. I wasn't verbally told about it, and I personally didn't see it disclosed anywhere beforehand. From my understanding, an automatic gratuity or service charge is required to be disclosed to the guest before the purchase, not something they should only discover when they receive the check. Maybe there was a notice somewhere that I missed, so I'm not saying there wasn't one, but I definitely wasn't aware of it. I think that's an important thing for guests to know upfront, especially because someone could easily add another tip without realizing gratuity was already included. Ironically, the one person I genuinely connected with and had a good conversation with was another guest at the bar, not a member of the staff. That interaction actually helped make my time there more enjoyable. For me, hospitality is about more than serving a drink. Especially when someone is clearly open, friendly, and trying to engage, that's an easy opportunity to create a connection and turn a first-time guest into someone who wants to come back. I felt like I gave plenty of opportunities for that interaction, but it just never really happened. I still had a good time because I can have a good time pretty much anywhere, and nothing happened that would make me say Lost Boys is a bad bar. It just didn't feel like the staff cared much about enhancing the experience beyond serving the drinks. So four stars because I respect what the place is and can see why it works as a neighborhood bar. It just didn't give me a reason to come back, and personally, I don't think I would.

Like any Miami-ite, I'm always looking to soak up all the cultural accoutrements the Magic City has…read moreto offer: food trucks, eating halls, sports events, car meet-ups, that one art museum in downtown I forget its name. Anywayssss, when I caught the winds that there was a new sound bar in downtown, I NEEDED to be there. The concept of the sound bar is some type of Asian thing, I don't really know. But where in Asia there might be a few monks sitting around in silence listening to gongs or whatever, Miami goes BIG! Finding parking in downtown Miami on a Saturday is virtually impossible unless you bribe a valet servant with cash. So that's what I did. My ladyfriend and I arrived early to the sound bar, and there was already a hearty swarm of brodents and thots lined up to get in. Some crack head outside was shouting about IPA's. I told the door servant that I knew the DJ or something like that, and he let us right in. Once inside, the bar has that edgy big city, small hallway type of vibe. You could barely stand around in there, let alone get to the bar to order a drink. The mix of flapping gums and mixologists concocting cocktails made for a cacophonous distraction from the actual "music" we were there to "listen" to. My ladyfriend and I ducked out across the street to Black Market Miami Bar where the game was on and you could actually order a drink that didn't cost $50+. After a few libations, we headed back to Miami Sound Machine Bar (they need to put 'Miami' in every bar's name down here in case you forget where you are). There was a weird looking guy playing depressing vinyls with singing in different languages. I was more in the mood for something upbeat and groovy like salsa or merengue that I could dance to with my girls. Although I did hear the 12" Andrew Weatherall remix of Happy Mondays "Hallelujah" at some point, a staple at the Haçienda nightclub in Manchester - an institution that shook the music world and changed club culture forever. The head servant at the bar looked like Nirvana (yes, one man looking like a whole band). He was jaded and rude. I don't blame him! As the night wore on, the crowd got larger and more deplorable, and the room got smaller and smaller. I got stuck in an awkward conversation waiting to use the bathroom. I don't think sound bars are for me. Pros: The bar across the street had really fair drink prices, and the servants are polite and efficient. Cons: the ratchet yuppies that inhabit Miami's nightlife, always on the prowl to ruin a subculture with their tackiness.

The music is always on point, and you can tell they really care about the sound and the atmosphere they create. It's the kind of place where you can actually enjoy the music while still being able to talk and hang out. The drinks are great, and the whole space has a cool, laid back energy that keeps us coming back. It's easily become one of our favorite spots to begin a night out in Miami. I'd skip the pork bao buns, as the meat was overcooked, but our server easily swapped them for the hamachi crudo, which was fantastic. Service was very pleasant, and the music set a great vibe at the perfect volume. Overall, it is a great rooftop spot that I would recommend.
