We went here for a quick car wash at 10:30 am on a Saturday. There was a line of 7 cars (we were the second car). There was a gentleman who worked there pushing a trash can and said nothing. Finally I get out to ask if they are open and he says Yes but it takes time??? I told him he should tell the 5 other people in line. Rude, non helpful and certainly no business sense. After I washed and dried my car I Parked at the vacuum parking stall and for some reason the whole right side of my car got wet. I spoke to the guy who guides the cars he said there was nothing he ca do. I asked for a supervisor he said he was the manager I asked for someone higher he said I represent the owner. I knew then he was full of it. I used to go here all the time. Never again though so unprofessional the guy was rude and completely incompetent. read more

I'm not sure what the guy problem was but he has no buissness working in a customer service environment his attitude was absolutely horrible and his body language displayed it as well. I wanted to express my concerns to him but with that attitude I know it would have been pointless. If he hates his job so much maybe quit and find one you do like. Only thing missing was him throwing my debit card at me. No hello, hey, thanks or even a simple what's up. They advertise a $3 wash, but the fine print when you pull in says that's only for a "light wash." From there, prices jump to $7 for a basic wash; $2 higher than a much better car wash just 1/2 mile south (on the northwest corner of Gilbert and Baseline). What I noticed is that the dryer at the end of the wash is very strong! It's TOO strong! It blew out a gasket that runs along the channels in the roof of my car...I don't know how else to describe it. And it scared me to death! There I sat, enjoying the car wash, but getting a bit concerned as the car went through the dryer. And then, all of a sudden, something flies off my car. I freak out! I was so worried about what could have come dislodged. And I wondered if I'd be able to recover it. I also thought the windshield wiper was going to blow off the car! It did not. Thankfully they had a guy there who knew how to fix the gasket issue, which is the only reason I considered giving them 2 stars, but in the end my experience was so annoying that I stuck with just 1 star. I suggested they dial back that dry setting so that it's something less than a tornado. He said what happened to my car happens all the time, which is probably why he's so adept at putting that gasket back where it belongs. I again suggested they dial back the strength of the dryer and he just blew me off. I even told him I'd do a Yelp review to warn other potential customers to take their money elsewhere. He didn't seem to care one little bit. So, I'll take my car and my money elsewhere. I share this story to try and save other folks the panic of seeing something fly off the car while in the car wash. Honestly, you can get the same basic wash just down the street for $4.99. I'll go there in the future. And no, I am not affiliated with that car wash. read more

Vacuum system has no power. This is a decent car wash, comparable price to others in town. However, their vacuum system is awful. There is no suction power and so it takes forever to vacuum out your car. Might as well go somewhere else with friendlier staff and better vacuums. read more

This carwash broke off a factory metal section of my car. Although aftermarket parts are iffy, this part was OEM and the business is still trying to wash its hands of this whole incident, excuse the pun. The employee tried to absolve blame by saying my car is too old (its only a 2009 for chrissake), and the manager never bothered to contact me after I filled out an incident form, and was told to await a response from him. Avoid this wash at all costs (even for $3 for a LIGHT wash ONLY. Or the next step up is $7 for a BASIC wash). You are better off paying a homeless individual to clean off your car with a rag for a couple bucks than coming here. read more

Ryan, the manager took complete and total care of issues. Resolved everything to my utmost satisfaction and made good on promises. When you find young men in business that care for coroner relations more than anything, I suggest that we all take heed. I went to wash my car there on Monday June 8,2015 around 1:15 pm there was black guy working but I didn't see anyone there so I honk my horn for service he came out of office and told me to fucking leave this is how he said to me ... I love American Speed Wash from the staff who is absolutely amazing!!! Great Customer Service!!!! These amazing guys helped me out sooooo much. I had something gooey stuck to my car and was having such a hard time removing it by using only water/towel. I went over to American Speed Wash, bc I thought a simple car wash would solve the problem and unfortunately it didn't. The guys here were sweet enough to let me go back through the car wash again at free of charge to see if it would come off and it did not up until the gentleman's at the car wash noticed it was gum and knew exactly what to do to get it off "Googone" which they had and it came right off within seconds. Not only did they get it off but these amazing guys let me go through the car wash again after using the Googone. THANK YOU SO MUCH AMERICAN SPEED WASH. You saved me time and money. I wish I could give zero stars. Derrick the manager on duty there has lost our recurring revenue forever. We went there today and wanted a wash. Our month renews tomorrow...NOT today! The machine said we had to renew. We proved on our bank site payment comes out every month on the 24th. He would not let us wash our car stating "there's no proof it'll come out." The fact it auto renews monthly for the last 7 months wasn't a clue for him. He stated this happens all the time with their systems and if we got double charged we'd have to deal with that later. His seemingly uncaring demeanor was only furthered our anger. I insisted he call his boss...he walked away so we could not hear or speak to the real manager. He returned and told us his boss agreed and we couldn't wash our car. He gave us the website to complain and told us he was OK losing our business. His employees standing there could not believe he was acting this way. I hope everyone reads and avoids them at all cost! There are too many car washes for that kind of service. read more

I have only been to this car wash a few times but everytime I go its clean and great customer service. Robert always goes out of his way and takes his time to explain each wash and the difference and what would be best for my vehicle since I do travel a lot and it gets lots of bugs on the front of my vehicle . every time with the wash that he recommends it comes out very clean. Great place for a wash! The $10 Manager's Special is a fantastic deal AND it comes with a free air freshener or a wipe for your dash. Or if your looking for something fast and cheap then it doesn't get much better than the $3 dollar wash. They also offer a membership program that saves you quite a bit of money if you get your car washed often. I highly recommend this car wash if you're in the area! read more
