Can't forget to mention that their shop is filled with the "Curiosities" portion which will entertain you for hours. I spot new trinkets and oddities every time I'm there. If I had to use one word to describe operations it would be "CLEAN". Their sanitation protocols are beyond medical standards and the term "professionalism" would be an understatement. Even as a seasoned piercing client, they're all still diligent in ensuring I'm updated and informed on aftercare practices as well. Their team of professionals were able to answer all my questions and give sound advice in how I'd experience and heal from the new pieces. Cleanliness: I've walked into doctor's offices less clean than Time Bomb's shop. They take cleanliness and sanitation to a new level and it helps make the experience feel safe and cared for Artists: My piercers were Alden, Jasper, Christie, Captain, and Pari, tattoo artists are John and Captain. I'd recommend all of them, although Pari was supernaturally fast with her piercing experience (3 helix's). No joke, it took under 5 minutes to place, prep, pierce, and clean up. The piercings themselves took maybe a minute and a half. Both Pari and Christie made the piercings hurt less than expected and have such a skilful and delicate touch that they're experts in their industry.

The quality of the tattoo itself met my expectations. My concern is with the pricing and communication process. Before the appointment, I paid a $300 deposit. The tattoo session lasted approximately four hours, but at no point before the work began was I given a total price or estimate for the sleeve. After the tattoo was completed, I was informed that the total price for the tattoo would be $5,000. We discussed the lack of upfront pricing, the amount was reduced, and we ultimately resolved the matter with a final total payment of $3,300. My issue is not the final amount we ultimately agreed upon. My concern is that the total cost was never disclosed before the tattoo began. Learning the price only after the work was complete put me in a very uncomfortable position because I no longer had the opportunity to decide whether I wanted to move forward at that cost. I believe customers should always receive a clear estimate or total price before any work begins, especially for projects that cost several thousand dollars. If the pricing had been discussed upfront, I could have made an informed decision before committing to the tattoo. I'm sharing my experience so future clients understand the importance of discussing pricing in detail before the tattoo starts. I couldn't have been more pleased with the shop, my experience and Charli. Upon entering, Jess greeted me and made me feel welcome. Pros: Price: The tattoo that I received cost $160 (pre tip). They ask for a deposit of 50% in advance, and then have you pay the rest onsite. I believe that $160 is the minimum price for any tattoo here. Tripp provided me with a quote in advance, per my request, and was very prompt and direct about the pricing as soon as I provided him with an example of what I wanted, which I really appreciated. I initially felt like this price was a bit high, however I called several highly rated tattoo parlors in the area, and this was the lowest price for my simple tattoo. So comparatively, this place checks out, price-wise! I am glad I paid to have it done at Wasteland, as the experience was incredible. Accuracy: The tattoo was executed exactly as I requested-- I couldn't have asked for it to be any more accurate, honestly. Instructions on treatment/self care of tattoo: My artist provided me with detailed instructions as to how to care for my tattoo. I asked a lot of beginner, kinda silly questions, but never felt belittled, and felt like I was being taken seriously and really cared for just in the way that my questions were addressed. The care process was honestly very easy, and within a couple of days, I felt that it was pretty much healed up! A super easy and fun process :) Cons: Truly ZERO from me!
