There are lots of clothes. They are displayed fairly neatly, but within types (pants, tops, skirts), they are organized by color not sizes. They also have some bric a brac, furniture, records, dvds, books and art, and electronics -- towards the back of the store. These sections are much smaller. I haven't found anything here yet to buy -- but you never know as stock changes in these places.

Today Goodwill has become a $5 billion nonprofit organization that provides job training, employment, and community programs for people who have disabilities that might prevent them from getting a job on their own. This seems like an older store. Some of the stores I have been in lately have had new merchandise and a large Halloween section. This store seemed smaller than other stores I have visited and they only had one rack of Halloween items. It was not anything like the stores on the west coast of Florida that can rival Spirit Halloween with their array of costumes. I think someone in this store has been watching Getting Organized with the Home Edit on Netflix because the clothes were organized in the rainbow color scheme that Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin champion. Everything was organized nicely but there wasn't anything for me today. Prices also seemed kind of high compared to other thrift stores in the area. It was a miss for me but I might have just visited on an off day.

The store is small inside but packed with clothes, accessories, perfume and cologne, and a few home goods. They had a nice selection of purses. Items were both new in package and used. For instance I saw new bedsheets and comforters, some clothes still with tags, and children's shoes. Outside they have a few books, artificial floral arrangements and plants, appliances, and other large items including a bicycle. The store is operated by a family and the kids were playing while the adults sat outside. I am more of a vintage shopper so the items here weren't really my taste but I would stop by if you needed inexpensive clothes and shoes or perhaps something for a residence starting out.

They have a display of items in front of the store to entice you to stop by. We browsed a couple of these outside tables before going inside. They have a bit of everything -- household and kitchen goods; clothing; knick knacks and bric a brac; shoes and purses; books and bicycles. Some items are new in their packages -- like the colognes and the sheet sets. It's family owned and operated. They were quite nice. Prices are very reasonable.

On Northwood Road there is a hub of fantastic places to eat and artistic places to shop. Free street parking is available and there is an overflow parking lot at the end of the street. Owned by Tim and his wife Inge, their store is like walking into Etsy. Actually they do have an Etsy shop. Their wares are composed of vintage home goods, furniture, accessories, jewelry, and hand made upcycled treasures like little glass planters you can hang and license plate art. They like to reuse what they can and turn it into something interesting rather than add to the landfill. During my visit Stone Button was participating in a Bahama relief drive as were the other shops in Northwood. They created really cute license plate art from cut up plates that read Bahamas. Outside is their salvage yard with over sized letters. This is the perfect shop to find that one of a kind gift. I left with a small china box that matches my grandmother's china. At only $10 I was pleased to find it. If you adore the vintage vibe like I do you will want to pay a visit to this charming shop.

In addition, prices here are very reasonable. It seemed like most of the workers were volunteers. And the monies collected go to a good cause. There were actually a number of items I considered buying here. I wound up with only a small sentimental, but useful, kitchen item (I really am trying to down size), but could have easily got a few more things with no problem. This is the kind of place to come back periodically. As they get new donations, and the stock will change. I'm sure I will return...

Turning Disabilities into Possibilities Since 1959!" I was really impressed with this thrift store. You can tell the people working here take a lot of pride in their store. Some of the staff are clients of the center. Everything is clean and arranged attractively. There are multiple rooms filled with art, furniture, housewares, collectibles, clothing, accessories, toys, and books. Prices are great as is the quality of the items. While I was shopping a lady bought a gorgeous mirror for only $20. They are willing to work with you on price depending on how long the item has been there. Support this worthy organization by shopping and donating here. They will pick up your furniture donations. If you live locally sign up for their loyalty program for an extra discount. They have a lot of things to look at and you are sure to find a hidden treasure.

Their items are always super cute and fashionable. The one thing is the old location would have more sales, I feel like and wider variety of clothes. Now it seems to be all higher end fashion, which is great and I'm sure that's what they were going for to begin with. I have come here a couple times to find beautiful dresses for weddings and I actually found one that I love this time for a wedding I have over the summer. The workers are always so kind. And I'm so obsessed with all the unique items they have. One of my favorite shops to go to when I come back into town!

This lake worth/palm beach store is right south of the college and funds go to the rehab center. It's a small building. The actual entrance is on the north side -- not the canopy you see facing Congress. Inside is a mix of a bit of everything -- from furniture to clothes; some knickknacks and jewelry; books and accessories. They were having a sale the day we came based on the yellow colored tags. Some items were as much as 75% off. The clothing -- as usual a much smaller group of men's items than women's stuff -- is very, very reasonably priced. When we first entered they had a platter in my exact Dansk pattern. I also considered a wine rack, a candle holder, and a picture -- but wasn't in love. So, although I didn't buy anything this time... I'll come back to see what's new. With prices like these, it might be well worth a detour.
