My husband told me that I need to change tires on my Toyota Sienna (2014), and I should go to American Tire Depot in Clovis, because only they have K* tires. He warned me that it will take 3 hours to change tires. So, I called on Monday morning to get appointment for Saturday, because I didn't want to waste my time waiting. Some staff member took all my information and told me that he will call me back because it's special order. I waited two days - never got any call back. On Wednesday I called again, wondering what is going on. Another staff member with older voice (unfortunately I don't know his name) was very helpful, entered all my information through their website, so I can get online discount. I told him that I want to get appointment for Saturday, because it's long waiting time. He said that it's not necessary because waiting time is approximately ONE hour, and my car would be served as soon as it possible. He gave me confirmation number. When I came there on Saturday morning at 10am, it was a lot of cars on a parking lot. I talked to younger staff member, gave him confirmation number, but he had hard time to find it. Later he told me that it was hard, because it was different first name on my order. ??? Sounds strange, because confirmation number and car information were correct, he could just clarify name. Also, I believe he was that staff member, who I talked on Monday and who got all my info and never called me back. I asked how long it will take to change tires. Hour? He said that longer. Two - three hours? He answered yes. ??? But on Wednesday I was told that only One hour! Ok. I didn't start argue, just asked to call me when it's ready. Three hours I was killing my time at Sierra Vista Mall. No phone call. After three hours wasting my time, I came back to American Tire Depot. They even didn't start working on my car!!! I went in the office all furious. Likely for me it was another staff member (older man, most likely manager), he got my folder and went to check what was going on. Came back and told me that they will start to work on my car right away. He told me that it happened because three cars came at same time. Really? It was just excuse. Because, I never saw customer, who was behind me in a morning, while I was waiting for another hour in a waiting room. His car got served before my car??? I have strong feeling that my car was put behind everyone else's car just because I wasn't sitting in the waiting room and couldn't control situation. Unfortunately I was so mad that I didn't ask their names, and didn't complain to the manager. My main complains: 1. I was told that it will take one hour, but it took 4 hours!!! 2. I wanted to make appointment and they didn't accept it. They could recommend me another day of the week if Saturdays are crazy. 3. I wasn't warned by staff member that it will take more than 3 hours. If I knew it I would just turn around and go back despite that I live in Auberry and spent 45 minutes driving down to Clovis. That waiting ruined all my plans for the day. On the top of everything, when I was driving back home, I decided to check how car drives at the speed 70-80ml per hour on freeway. It was shaking after speed reached 70mph. When I had my old tires, it was never that way even over 80mph. I'll check if tires wasn't balanced properly and update my review. UPDATE: First I gave one star, but after I posted my review, Jason from Customer Service sent message to me and we discussed issue, so I'm changing it to 3 stars, just because management cares how their customers are treated. I took a recently acquired 2000 Hyundai Accent to take advantage of their full blown free inspection. On initial inspection they lifted this little egg on the lift and pointed out to me a rear strut that had leaked out all of it's oil and also pointed out to me a leaking valve cover which were not any major issues. They then proceeded to getting this little car on their alignment rack this was the very first real rainy day of the season and as the mechanic was turning my steering wheel in the direction he needed to I saw my little tires actually slipping and it fell off THANK GOD before it was lifted off the ground so it just fell from the lowest point possible while being on the lift, we will call it about a 8 inch drop. So when I got my car down the road I noticed it was really bouncy and not driving like it was when I took it there, I immediately called them and let them know they asked bring it back in first thing Sunday morning as it was closing time for the day. When I returned the next morning the mechanic lifted and inspected the car found the front struts were damaged, they called Autozone and had two struts delivered and installed both completely free of charge. The mechanic now mentioned this time around that the motor mounts were cracked. The desk guy Eddy was not able to do anything else as he stated he was not authorized to do so. I called Jason the district manager who has his cell number available on a customer satisfaction sign in the lobby. I let him know about the whole situation and said I felt the mounts should be taken care as well. He said he had to investigate the issue and would call me back. After about a 2 hour wait not bad he called me back and said he went to the shop to see where the car had fell from and had consulted with the shop owner as well and told me "after speaking with the owner we feel you have been compensated but do want to go the extra mile 4 you and therefore if you purchase the motor mounts we will install them for you free of charge". I purchased all three mounts for $175.00 from partsgeek.com and took the car back to them a couple weeks later they installed all three mounts and I was in n out in less than 1 and 1/2 hours. The manager Ron is very professional and polite as well he is easy to deal with. In my opinion they did go the extra mile in purchasing my two front struts installing them, aligning my car and installing the three motor mounts free of charge. I had recently been to the Clovis Chrysler Dealership and after a really bad experience. (which you can see on that website) By the way this is my second post ever in my life and I am in retail. I feel that if someone takes the time out of their busy day to write a review it is really important either good or bad. In this case John and Chris at this location had no idea about my experience until after the transaction. I was quoted $2,200. for new brakes and rotors for our van after I was told they were good in the last 6 months at the Chrysler dealership. We went on a trip to Reno and on the way back nothing but grinding... Anyways that is the short story to that. So when I got back I went to the Chrysler dealership and asked what was wrong again after all I was told they were in great shape 2 weeks prior... So they charged me $130.00 for a brake inspection to find out that oh yeah all 4 brake pads and rotors needed replacing. So I was frustrated and now I am so glad I got a second opinion. Remind you this shop had no idea about what I was going through as I wanted to get a true picture from someone else. They did a FREE brake inspection and I was quoted that I needed new rotors and pads on the front. I asked the price and they told me $600.00. WOW I could not believe my ears. WE are blown away by that so we decided to get it done. Chris and John were great to work with. Not only did I have that issue but I also told them about an issue I was informed of at the Chrysler dealership in Clovis about my Antifreeze reservoir needing to be replaced. I asked these guys if they could look into it. They called me back and told me it was in great shape. I didn't believe them since the info I got from the dealership should have been correct. Sure enough they checked it again and called me back. It was good they said. I still was suspect to their follow up. So when I got there I had them show me and sure enough it was in great shape. Chris and John thank you for taking the time to work with me and my schedule. Also thank you for being honest and cheaper than that other dealership. 5/17/2022 Took my vehicle in for balance and rotation but Angel informed me that my front rotors and brakes were metal to metal. Angel advised I not drive the vehicle until repairs were done. I chose to have the new rotors installed along with new break pads. Even though it was close to closing time, Angel told me not to worry that he would make sure the job was done, even if it meant that he and his employees were to stay open, so that I would be safe to drive my car. I am very pleased that the job is done and confident that I will be safe to drive my car. Angel who is Shop Manager handled the situation with upmost professionalism. Angel was very courteous and helpful with the questions I had. The employees were also very professional and courteous. I am a pleased, happy and grateful customer. This was not the first time dealing with these guys. I've actually purchased tires for one car and took my Niece to have her vehicle service by them before they moved from the Blackstone location. This time, on April 3, 2014 I took my Toyota in for an oil change and whatever else that it may need. The guys were very attentive to me. They asked questions about past services on the vehicle. When the invoice was written it was to check multiple areas. Unlike other places I've visited that quoted me higher prices for more work. I only needed an oil change and an alignment which I also knew I needed to have done. The staff was very friendly and professional. Also, my vehicle was ready when promised. As always, at American Tire Depot in Clovis, has given me the best care a business can give. I am a mom of six and drive a lot. Road maintenance is how this company keeps my family safe. I have little wait times and very effective service. Even if I just need air in my tires they are happy to help. The entire team provides great customer service. Safety and quality is in their scope. The management team works together to provide amazing customer service. John is my normal go to person (who has amazing customer service skills) with questions, this time I was able to meet Justin and was provided with abundance of priority. I had the pleasant (yes, actually pleasant) experience of having my car repaired by the professionals at this Clovis location. Raul and the other workers were attentive, courteous, professional and got down to work immediately. I needed to pick up my car the next day and it was all ready, just as they said it would be. I don't believe that things could have gone any smoother. The prices are competitive compared to other shops and I doubt that anyone can beat them on their oil change prices. I've already recommended this place to my family, and I will continue to have my car serviced here. It seems that like most places, Tuesdays are less busy than other days, so if you can, I would recommend going during this time. read more

Had an awesome experience at this location . I had a long day with a not so good report from the dr before I arrived at this location so my mind was just everywhere , I was hungry upset disappointed, I had an appointment to get 2 tires but unfortunately my tires were not in good shape Randy was showing me the tires and explained the situation so I was just gonna come back another day but Big shoutout to Randy who was very patient with me , Randy got me great deal for 4 tires . While driving to work yesterday I picked up a bolt in my rear tire. Heard it pop when I drove over it. Called America Tire Depot that evening while I was at work at they made an appointment for me the next morning first thing. I arrive and John . came out and looked at my tire. I told him I needed the replacement tire done by a certain time to get to work on time. Mr.Lopez saved me both time and money by looking at the tire and letting me know I didn't need a replacement, just a repair and I had plenty of tread left on the tire. John, thanks man. This place is excellent!. we had a flat tire this morning and call this place..it's our first time here.. not even an existing customer.. We are already thinking how much we are going to spend etc.. when we got there, Chris told me that if the tire is fixable, they will fix it for free and we don't even have to buy one from them.They will tell you honestly . Yes! they fix the tire for free! replace our spare tire & we don't even pay a cent for their service/time! It shows that they care for anyone that comes to their store! They are not after your money!
