Beautiful morning, had schedule my tire rotation for this morning. I had some extra time on my hands so I came in early and they were able to take me in which was great and I was in and out within 20 minutes. It was one of the best investments I ever made by buying my tires here they are so fast. My tires are doing great and complementary rotating and keeping the air in there. I was in need of getting a screw removed from my passenger front tire and thought of giving Les Schwab a try, so I walked and and asked about the repair and the person at the service counter said it would be two hours before they could fix it, and set me up with a text service for that time which was cool. So I left and did some shopping at BevMo before returning home. I was in the process of baking some sourdough bread and the 2 hour wait worked well with my schedule, however I didn't receive a text from them until 3-1/2 hours later which wouldn't of worked...oh well, maybe next time read more

Went here for brakes and was charged for all four brakes replaced yet back brakes went out less than 10,000 miles after they did the work? Every set of brakes in every vehicle I have ever driven over 50 years have never lasted me less than 80,0000 miles. You charged me for a full brake job and only did the front. Last time I went in for a tire rotation, I heard them tell three customers in a row that they needed new control arms. This place is scamming customers. Do better. read more

This is my second time here and both times the service has been extremely helpful and a very easy process. My tire light had been on for about three days and after refilling the air in my back passenger tire repeatedly and the light not turning off, I figured it was time to come in. I dropped it off right when they opened and told them what I thought the issue might be. They said it would be about two hours to wrap up the job. There were already 8 cars in front me, so the timing didn't feel that off. I went home to work, while the car was serviced, and at almost exactly the two hour mark I got a text that my car was ready. Turns out, I had two small nails in my tire and that it was patchable puncture. So no charge! They added air to my other tires and balanced them. Now my car is running smooth again. read more

I had a very frustrating experience at Les Schwab. Ricardo, the assistant manager, stated next time we take the car for a free pre-safety check he would charge us. We had also made a change to our demographic information He also confirmed our email with us, then later changed it, apparently to prevent us from leaving a review. Also the invoice print out Ricardo did not give it to us a different employee did however,we never got the review email so we contacted a different location, When we contacted another location, we found the email had been changed. I called the corporate office for help, and the person I spoke with was rude, unprofessional, and refused to give their name. He seemed to Dismiss me while i explained the situation. He hung up on me when i told him he was unprofessional. If corporate behaves this way, it's no wonder some employees treat customers poorly. Very disappointing experience. read more

Took my car in for a slow leak on one of the tires after visiting American Tire Depot who told me the tire could not be repaired and that I needed 4 new tires because mine were at 2/32nd.tread. For a rotate and balance, the final torque on the lug nuts is important, however they did not use a torque wrench for the final tightening as they have in the past. They just ran the nuts on with the impact wrench. While some impact wrenches can be calibrated, it's not always a sure thing and it's easy for the wrench to be set wrong. I checked the lug nut torque at home as over-torqued nuts and studs are over-stressed and can break (one did when they were trying to get it off). One side of the car was OK but the other side was way over-torqued to the point where it took most of my strength with an 18-inch breaker bar to get the nuts loose. In the future I will insist that a torque wrench be used for the final tightening. read more

This company scams people. We paid over $1,500 last year to get all new tires on my car with a warranty that covers any tire repairs up to 80K miles. Currently at 77K, on our way home from Mammoth Lakes we got a flat in Delano. Over an hour from home. We changed the tire and went yesterday to repair it using our warranty. My husband took it in and they gave him a hard time about the warranty. I had to call in to speak to a "Manager" who did not have an ounce of sympathy and who just blamed my husband. The fact that I had to call in to clear things up and ensure it was handled right while I am at work was appalling and just displayed a lack of integrity this company has and its employees. I am very disappointed in the lack of service and hospitality they showed my husband and I. We will never come back and the "manager" I spoke to should understand the importance in how he treats people and how it directly effects returning customers. read more

On Sunday, I noticed that air pressure of the right rear tire was low around 22 while it should be around 32. Then I found a nail on the tire. I immediately make an appointment at Les Schwab for the next day at 1:30 pm. Next day, Monday morning, I dropped off my car and went to work. Before 10 am, they called me and fixed the tire. After work, I picked it up and they said it was an easy fix and didn't charge me anything. It was free. Next time, if something happens, I would go to Les Schwab to fix the problem or maybe in the future I would buy new tires from Les Schwab. I don't know if this is a company's strategy but I have to say it's working. Fix tiny thing for free, then get bigger things later. Good strategy! read more

This happened about a year ago. My husband brought my car in for an air check because we noticed a leak in my tire. The manager Brad said it was a unpatchable leak so i would have to buy an entire new tire. I had just boughten new tires a month or two before this, and i just drive my car to pick up my daughter from school and to work and back. Tires were still perfectly fine. He tried to get me to buy an entire new set of tires because they were "below the wear bar" but they were definitely not. A worker named jayson came to assist me because Brad went back to the front since i requested the tire technician. He was extremely nice and told me that my tire was patchable and he did it for me. Brad was just extremely rude and tried to lie to me to get me to spend money. I will not be coming back to any les schwab locations until that store gets a new manager. A lot of my family members will not go to that store either because of the attitude and dishonesty Brad shows to paying customers. Highly disappointed. Get a better manager les schwab. read more

I've always had great service from Les Schwab when it was family owned but now it has been sold to a hedge fund and my last visit was not quite satisfactory. I came in for a rotation and balance and I have learned to always watch when work is done. I noticed that the tech was putting the wheels back on without balancing the tires. I asked if he was going to balance them and he said he was told not to. Huh? It's on the work order: rotate and balance. Why would you rotate and not balance? I also noticed that the tech did not check the air pressure -- a basic check that should have been done. Cutting corners and skipping the ordered work is not OK. read more

When I was looking up auto shops, a coworker recommended Les Schwab. I had never heard of it before, but people seemed to say good things about this location. I made an appointment for Friday at 2pm because it was the soonest available. I stopped by Thursday afternoon around 5:15 just to see if they could squeeze me in at a more convenient time, knowing they close at 6pm. The guy in the front was friendly and said there were 2 cars ahead of me, but they'd be happy to take care of it. They didn't seem like they were in a rush to leave. They inspected my brakes, tires, and everything. They ultimately did not find a leak, but I said I was still concerned because this has happened before where it was just very small. He could tell I was worried. He said to just keep an eye on the pressures and if one tire started going down again, I could bring it back and they'd check it out for free. I was done before 6:30 and on my way home. Overall it was a pretty smooth process and I'm glad I found this place. read more

I found a flat tyre on my car today and sweated in the hot Sun while I fitted the temporary 'Donut' tyre. I washed up, changed my shirt and looked up the number of my regular service shop, only to find that they went out of business some time ago. Well, this branch of Les Schwab's looked good (according to the remarks of fellow Yelpers) so my girlfriend and I headed here to get the deflated tyre fixed and the others rotated. The staff are super friendly and David (who handled our needs) was efficient and such an obviously good guy that we felt instantly safe in his hands. Though every bay in their repair unit was occupied when we arrived, LS got the punctured tyre fixed and the others switched around in a very swift time. Imagine my surprise when David refused any payment for their work and sent us away with a complimentary repair/rotation! No doubt about it - this is my new regular tyre stop from now on. 12/14/19: Dropped in as their first customer of the day to get 4 new tyres. I explained that I needed to be at work very soon & Andy & his colleagues got the job done fast & efficiently. I had a nice cup of free coffee during the short time I had to wait too. read more

I usually go to a competitor but I decided to go Les Schwab for one of my vehicles as I found that they were cheaper at that time. Staff at this location are very nice and listen. Turnaround times, with an appointment, are faster than usual. When I got new tires, prob 30 mins max wait. Rotation with appt, 15 mins or so. Walk ins are always welcomed but making an appointment over the phone or online will probably streamline the wait times. read more

No, do not come here if you think there is an issue with alignment or tires and they don't fully inspect. I brought my car here about a month ago to check the alignment and was told- after waiting for an hour- that it was a body issue and there's nothing they could do. Well that is fine but the service person I had was not even polite about it and was quite rude to me, like I was just wasting their time. I left and then found out this week that it was in fact a tire/alignment issue and unfortunately for them they DID NOT get my business and they are getting this review. read more

Came here to get my brakes checked they were not sure what was going on completely but they guessed about what could be wrong and told me it would be only $300 to complete including the labor. That nothing was wrong with my break pads or breaks. A week goes by until the appointment I show up and the woman assisting me says that we never confirmed our appointment so she sent the guy home. She said that they could do it but it would be a few hours OK I was willing to wait then she prints out the quotes and there were two separate quotes. One was for $500 and some thing the other was for $700 and some thing that's a lot more than $300 that they quoted us the first time around the person that quoted us wasn't there, of course so there was really nothing I could do other than to get serviced for these things that were not mentioned before or leave, and I chose to leave . Came in Tuesday because my tire light came on. Drove up and someone immediately ran out to meet me at my car and asked me what I needed help with. They brought my car in, filled the tires up, and told me to bring my car back in if my tire light were to come back on. My tire light came back later on that day so I took it back in. They ended up finding a metal blade in one of my tires, and patched it back up. Upon checkout, they told me that the service was complimentary, and to just keep them in mind next time something came up such as an alignment or an oil change. Excellent service. I recently decided to get my alignment checked to see if my alignment was off or if my tires have a radial pull. Dropped off the car at Les Schwab and when I picked it up, I was informed by the tech that the front camber could not be adjusted (Les Schwab did not have the proper tools), but the rear camber, front/rear toe were adjusted since they were noted to be out of spec. The tech further went on to state that the car was still pulling to one side after the visit, which seemed worse than when I brought the car in. I had an alignment completed 700 miles before this visit and the car was tracking straight. I replaced the wheels/tires and noticed an alignment pull after the new wheels/tires so I wanted to verify that the alignment was still in spec, which it should have been since no suspension parts were changed. After this visit, I went to another repair shop where the alignment specs for the rear toe/camber were out of spec. After my third alignment, I noticed that the car was tracking better than my visit to Les Schwab. I highly recommend against visiting this store for alignment checks/adjustments. While the techs are able to complete the work, the alignment specifications are not correct or their alignment machine is improperly calibrated. Furthermore, they do not know if they have the proper tools to align your vehicle until after they charge for the alignment. After communicating my concerns with the manager and the improper alignment, Les Schwab has decided against refunding me for the repair, even though issue was not fixed. Go ahead and read the other reviews - you will see that other customers have experienced the same problem as well. read more

Got quoted for $550 for a rear brake job. Quote included replacing all parts including drums and cylinders. Took the drums off and they're original. hardly any rust. Being resurfaced as I write this. Watched YouTube, got some tools and parts and doing the job myself. I cannot trust these guys any longer. I'll be closing my account as soon i pay it off. read more

I got my rear brakes and rotors replaced yesterday at this location. It took quite a while (dropped the car off at 10:30am but I didn't end up leaving until 40 minutes after their official closing time), which really isn't a big a deal. The problem I have is that they left the inside of my car absolutely FILTHY. Where the mechanic grabbed the car door to close it is covered in black grease and brake dust, same with the gear shift. The steering wheel cover is the same. Smears of grease on a cloth cover that can't be run through the wash. I'm going to have to get my car detailed to get it removed, which after an expensive brake job isn't exactly what I want to be spending my money on. I wouldn't go here again. read more
