It was a Long wait (3+ months) to get American Window Cleaning booked but it was well worth it. The technicans arrived on time (a few minutes early but that's okay) and they completed the job (70 panes, inside & out) in under 3 hours. The guys from American Window Cleaning have been cleaning my windows for years! Although employees have changed over time (I met someone new this time, Mike, who was very sweet and great at his job), I have ALWAYS been totally delighted with their work, upbeat attitude, friendliest, apparent dedication and overall results. I have some heavy duty screens on the north and south sides of the house and it's a little tricky to get them in and out of the window frames but the guys manage it without bending them up or leaving big gaps where insects can find their way in. They're great about wearing shoe covers in the house which I really appreciate because I have light colored carpets. They put things right back where they were and, other than clean windows, tracks and screens, you'd never know anybody had been here! Very appropriate price which I'm so thankful for. Also, when I make the appointment, which is usually a ways out because they (understandably) have a large clientele, I always tell them to let me know if they have any cancellations because I'm flexible. I invariably get a call and my appointment gets moved up months, weeks, days or sometimes even hours which, for me, is awesome and a win/win. The only recommendation I would make to the company is, even though they use a degreaser in their wash water, I would love to see an after wash application of something like RainX. That way winter rains will just flow off in sheets rather than leaving windows spotted. So if you're looking for fantastic window cleaners, give this company a call. You won't be sorry! They arrived in a timely fashion and the quote was very reasonable. I didn't realize how busy they were so I was unable to secure a window cleaning before my company arrived from out of state. American Window Cleaning is an awesome family owned company. They have cleaned the windows in my home a handful of times over the years and have been prompt, kind, friendly and efficient. Renee, Chris and Edwin have always shown me courtesy and A++++ customer service including Renee calling to see if we are ready for a cleaning. I was saddened today when I called to schedule an appointment and found that I am out of their service area now without exception and Abby had zero recommendations of another company I might contact in my area, When I asked she simply said "nope, sorry ". The Office staff and their crew are very professional, as they recommended to reschedule our long-standing appointment to a later date, due to the unpredictable rainy season, which surely made it very hard on them trying to catch up now. We had Daryl, the owner, come and clean our windows, as he did the last time they were here. Our windows did not look "that' dirty, but boy, did they sparkle when he was done. He is very detail oriented and, as he did last time, did not miss any corner of any of the panes in our sliders and windows. Because I have a party this weekend, I called AWC last week to try and schedule a first-time window washing. They were heavily booked but able to find a "window" of time today to work us in provided we were okay with just our 1st story windows being washed -- and will come back next week to finish the 2nd story. These guys are GREAT!! I needed my windows cleaned before I moved out, but of course I waited until the last minute to call. Neighbors had strongly recommended the DeBow Family's American Window Cleaning Company, so I really wanted to use them. But due to my own procrastination, they couldn't fit me in that week. I was sorry to hear that, but I understood and started looking elsewhere. The next day, they called me to alert me of a cancellation and to ask me if I was still interested. Yes! I was so happy they made the effort to call me back. I was even happier when I saw what great work they did. I have had my windows cleaned many times in many houses, and this was the best experience EVER. They cleaned the windows inside and out, as well as the screens and the tracks. It was quite a job as I'm embarrassed to say my windows were pretty filthy. They were very careful washing the screens and the windows and not a single screen was broken. That has not been my experience in the past. Screens get old and brittle and break. That's the way it is. These screens were old and brittle, but were handled with kid gloves, and did not break! Wow. And the windows! I had no idea windows could be so CLEAN. Suddenly, my whole world looked fresher and prettier. I found myself just sitting on the couch looking out the window, amazed at the clarity and beauty of the outside world. Who knew? A friend used American Window Cleaning and gave me their number. Chris and Edwin did an awesome job! The windows sparkle, the screens are clean and they made sure all the tracks and window sills were wiped down and clean. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and clients.
