So many options. We chose Americana for the reasonably priced burgers with the option for a gluten free bun. And I was impressed with that bun! Great texture and it didn't fall apart. After living in Bend for a while and being told over and over to try Americana I finally gave it a try today, and all I can say is I'm mad I didn't try it sooner. The Burgers were extremely thin patties with a perfectly crispy edge that almost melts in your mouth. They also put the perfect amount of lettuce, American cheese and caramelized onions to top it off.. a prototypical all American burger... nothing flashy, just a great price and amazing flavor. This will 10000 % be the new go to spot for burgers in Bend for me and the fam. Something important to add here too. As most Bend residents know, it's hard to find a meal that is both good and affordable in this town, you really have to search. Recently we have seen many of our favorite food trucks and restaurants raise their prices 15-25% over night, making it really hard to continue to be a loyal customer... not Americana though. All in all, this was a really good burger. This is a smashburger so that means you aren't going to get to cook the burger meat to your specifications, but rest assured, it's still fairly tasty. The addition of caramelized onions adds a little bit of a smoky component, and I've always had a preference for brioche bun hamburgers. The secret sauce is indeed secret, but it added another layer to the burger. Add into the experience that you are right next to a number of drinking establishments, other food trucks, and a nice outdoor space that is super dog and kid friendly. You will have to wait a bit as Americana appears to be the most popular option in its current space, but I would say go for it. Overall, I'd order this again if I were in Bend. read more

It's a small truck and the menu is limited, with burgers and grilled cheese the mainstays. No fries, no tots. When I hit them up, a chili cheeseburger was on special and tomato soup was available. - OG Americana burger: really good double-patty burger in contention for Best in Bend.
