My husband and I love this place. We usually go once a week. The food is always consistent and fresh and the owner is the sweetest lady.!!

Rudest Filipina owner ever!!!! I went with my son to get some food no one was in line the open sign was on but the window was closed after about 10 minutes of waiting the owner looked at me shrugged her arms around like she was confused why I was there and then went back to the truck to do who knows what. Then another person walked up the B!?$& took an order from right away then she flipped the closed sign again mind you I was still standing there waiting to order and then I knocked on the window and she pointed to the closed sign completely rude. I had been there before when young worker was in no issues but the owner is rude nasty and deserves to be shut down. I never leave bad reviews but this had to be done. read more

By far the best spot I've found to go snag a Freshly grilled burger and fries right out of the basket. Lot of other places I've come to find out that their fries arent always fresh even come from a food truck. Burger wise, The Boss burger is a perfect combination of spice and a all American patty. Not smashed nor am oversized. Highly recommend even the regular burger if you're not into the spice. Now desert or just something sweet, their milkshakes have the perfect thickness ever time. The lemon shake will have you thinking about lemonheads also. Have yet to give any of the dogs a bite yet so if you do have one let everyone else know!!! Location is at the lot so the seats are heated during the winter on the outer rim and the table in the middle has heat also. Sauerkraut dog: Very tasty dog & kraut. The moist sauerkraut quickly caused the bun to disintegrate, though, forcing me to use knife & fork. Crispy wasabi dog (with polish dog): Also good, although the wasabi kick was not apparent and the strip of bacon seemed to have been cooked two weeks ago. Love the polish dog. Spicy cheeseburger: Love it, one of the better burgers I've had recently. Nice bun. Tots: I'm a fan and you get a good amount. Great service - the food comes out quickly and is accompanied by a smile. Decent prices, too. One huge detractor is that you can't order tots (or fries) separately. I have the same complaint as most of the others here. The food is actually pretty good. The people in the truck are not. I wanted a chili dog with the chili on the side. In case I didn't like their chili. They said NO. And not nicely. I offered to pay for another container to put it in. NO. Absolute JERKS. I was the only customer around at the time. I had it, located in the lot. I have a cheeseburger and it was amazing. It's not like a fast food burger, it reminded me of a Fourth of July homemade burger. The service was fast and friendly, greeted me with a smile and explained that they will buzz me when it's ready which was perfect because I had time to look around. There's a dinning area in the back where you can also buy beer. It was a peaceful area, I loved the environment. Would definitely come back for another burger! Ordered a plain cheeseburger and a simple hotdog with fries: $25 and 40 minutes later. I've finished my food ifrom another cart in front of my kids and the order finally comes out missing fries. Staff shouts at me that they "aren't McDonalds" There is a large gap between fast food and a rude, barely functioning food provider who charges restaurant prices. read more

Absolute moron service ... When I asked for veggies to be wrapped on the side they were instead piled on top of the burger ruining it .. The dizzy counter girl admitted I asked for them wrapped . She did not remember me saying foil as that's clearly what would be used . Either way they weren't wrapped and the owner asked me if I wanted it wrapped now like what a moronic question as I had driven home already and my son doesn't eat all the toppings but I know how anal these people are and I request accordingly. I had the Spicy burger but switched to regular cheddar. The sautéed jalapeños and onions were good but I think I'll order the raw onions next time. The French fries were good and I splurged and got a dbl malted chocolate shake. Good flavor on the burger, French fries were some crisp but soft in the center and my malted was perfect not so thick that you can't suck it through the straw. I'm torn, I love hot dogs. I mean really love hot dogs. At any barbecue I'm going to pick the hot dog over hamburgers, chicken, steak, etc. - you get the idea. I ordered the crispy wasabi dog (that has bacon on it) was pretty tasty. $6 which I thought was fine. The menu offers burgers and hot dogs (imagine that). There are maybe a half a dozen of each on the menu. Each offering is a clever combination of ingredients to compliment the burger or dog, all looked good. They also have a kids menu. I did not see any side dishes on the menu? Downside was that the hot dog wasn't temperature hot and it took longer than average to get it. It was before the parade ended, so it wasn't crazy busy. No one in line which I know does't mean that there aren't orders ahead of me. Meanwhile, we got our beers, my partner's lunch was ready and he'd eaten over half of it before my dog came out. We ordered at essentially the same time. So, kind of a bummer on that front. Waiting and then it wasn't even hot. It wasn't cold mind you, just lukewarm. Great flavor - dog was good, bacon was crisp, wasabi cream was not overpowering (I could have handled hotter) and the jalapeños were a nice compliment to everything. These two need an anger management class. We bought food from their neighboring food cart, as well as a place around the corner we didn't realize wasn't connected to the same table setup (there are 4-5 carts/trucks with a common eating area). Once we'd opened all of our food and started eating, a woman from Bend Burgz N Dogz kicked us out, telling us "no outside food allowed." Not, "hey, you may not have realized that some of your food isn't from this food court, next time we'd appreciate it if..." Never mind that we'd spent most of our lunch money at a cart that was "authorized" - connected to the tables, or that every other table in sight was empty. I wanted to ask them about it, so after we packed up all of our food and put it in the car, I walked over to the Burgz N Dogz window. The man working there pulled out his camera and started filming me, only then opening the window. I asked, "are you filming me?" He said, "yes." I laughed in surprise, and said, "well, I don't give you consent to film me." He replied, "then get the f*ck out of here!" I let that roll off my back and said, "I've eaten at your place before more than once, and intended to do so in the future. Just now I ordered food for my family at your food cart neighbor, so most of what we were eating was 'authorized.' I get that these tables are a resource for you, but at this particular time most of the tables are empty, so we're not depriving you of business or anything." I was hoping to sort of make peace, but also let them know a different approach might accomplish their goal while also keeping an existing customer. I can certainly understand they were frustrated, we must not have been the first family to make this same mistake. She shouted that we were stealing from them, and he told me to F off. They kept yelling. I remained calm and said I wasn't inclined to return to their cart in the future, and, get this, he shouts: "Great! Never come back! And tell all of your friends, too!" Then he gives me the finger, and makes sure he moves it in front of the camera so it's clear on his video that he's telling me to F off with both verbal and body language. (So, I'm really just doing what he told me to with this review - he would like me to tell all of you not to come to their cart. I recommend going around the corner where they are friendly and have better burgers.) I felt a lot of adrenaline pumping by then, and in order to avoid rising to their bait, left, joined my young kids and wife, and drove away, never to return. I have eaten at the Lot multiple times, I love it there. The community is great, the people are awesome. It wasn't until recently that I decided to try the food at Burgz and Dogz. I will never return again. Sure, their food was pretty good. But they're literally selling Costco hotdogs for $8 a piece, when they're sold the exact same way at Costco for $0.99. When I asked them to cut the hotdog in half for me and my daughter, they refused and told me I could do it myself. I even offered to pay them just to cut the hotdog in half for us and they absolutely lost it. I will never be returning here. The Lot is a really great place and people like this should not be abusing their privilege to even have a space to sell their food. Disappointing. read more

Foods decent but the service sucks. My daughter wanted a hotdog with BBQ sauce -no relish, onion, or mustard (which is what they typically put on it) and they told me they couldn't do that. I let them know I was ok with paying extra for it and they said I would have to pay the price of a burger. Which is ridiculous. They gave no explanation or reasoning behind this. I arrived here at "The Lot" on a slow day while finishing my laundry across the street. I decided the picture of the Wasabi dog looked good enough for me to go for a meal. I was a bit skeptical at first because there was an impressive amount of wasabi on the dog. Though I must say it was quite a bit less potent than I was expecting. The dog had great flavor and was pretty good size. It came with some bacon onions and wasabi sauce. At first glance, the price seemed a little steep. I posted this review yesterday but has been removed so I am posting it again... We went to the lot to get food for our family of three young kids and my wife and I. We had looked online because we knew the kids were going to be hungry and got our order all ready before we arrived. While my son went and bought food at another food cart, my wife went to this place. She tried to order a chili dog with the chili on just half. She actually first asked if they could cut it in half and put chili on just one half. They said no and offered a knife for us to cut it ourselves. My wife said can I just put half the amount of chili on the dog and try and keep it to one half? They said no. She asked if we could just have the chili on the side then and they said no. I've never heard of ppl being so rude. We would have happily waited or paid extra or whatever but they just acted rudely and we were told no at every turn. Avoid this place if for nothing else on principle alone. See others reviews. Same issues, window slammed in your face, etc. I hope the lot replaces them soon. read more

Best burgers in town! I have tried all of the carts at The Lot and these guys are the best. They even bring the food out to your table! This dude and his wife make some pretty decent burgers. And they're pretty nice folks. And that's what a solid quick meal is all about, right? bend Burgz N Dogz sits in a weird spot over in the Old Mill area, which on a Saturday in July seems a bit off the path. However it is situated right at the jumping off point for Cycle Pub, so figured in as a convenient place for us to soak up some of those suds after a crawl around the city bars. The menu offers a variety of burgers, dogs and some veggie options like a quinoa salad, which I'm told is quite good. They also have a kids grilled cheese option that's insanely inexpensive and quite tasty, on a thick buttery grilled bread. Prices are right, and the little area of tables outside is a solid spot to sit and masticate. I'm definitely a fan based on quality, price and convenience. read more

Let me begin with the first time I ate here everything was perfect. There was an older gentleman that I am going to assume was the owner, who was very friendly and a young man, also friendly. So the food was great. The hot dog I ordered was just a plain old hot dog with mustard and onion and no relish. Boring to some but it is just the way I like it. The hot dog itself was very flavorful and warm. It was so good the first time, I had to go back prior to departing Bend and back to my hometown. The second time was like night and day. My husband ordered a hot dog that later had to be replaced because they did not have any more of the slaw mixture they typically use. The young man came to my husband and asked if there was another hot dog he would like and offered to throw in a hamburger. My husband declined the extra food and gracefully accepted the hamburger without the hot dog. The food is really good and this was not much of an inconvenience for us. When both our meals came, mine had relish and I had ordered mustard and onion only. Instead of returning my meal to be corrected, I decided to just remove the relish and ask for mustard, which my husband went and asked for, to add myself. As it turns out, the relish wet the bun and was all over the onions too and I was not going to be able to get past the relish taste. So I went back to the food truck to just ask for a bun replacement and some onions. At this point, the hot dog is already cold but I am willing to deal with that as long as I can get what I need. I began to explain to this young man my situation and that I did not order a hot dog with relish when it began to dawn on me that he was not going to correct the mistake to which I responded, " Do we have a problem?" Surprisingly, he pulls out a paper with what he states is my order. On it he says, he wrote no mustard and extra relish and if I want it corrected I would have to buy another hotdog. Never does he think perhaps he made a mistake in annotating the order and that he is fallible. No, instead he tells me, the customer, that I am wrong and I need to order another hot dog. WOW. I was besides myself and instead of trying to explain that he made a mistake, I walked away because I realized with that attitude and rudeness he just wasn't worth it. So beware and make sure you are crystal clear when submitting your order because if you are not and he makes a mistake writing it down, you will have to pay AGAIN to get his mistake fixed. Suffice to say, I will never eat there again because of the way this was handled. He could have handled it in a better way. He could have been graceful and thoughtful enough to just give me another bun and some onions. That's all I needed to make it right. It's too bad the cost of a bun meant more to him than this review. P.S. The hot dog was FOUR dollars. read more

The woman working at ~1:00p on 4/25/22 went out of her way to come out of the establishment and scold me in front of my friends and the other patrons at The Lot because, while members of my group had purchased food from this establishment, as well as the bar and another truck there, I had gotten food from around the corner (type of which was not offered there). I was not aware of the policy, that is posted on a small inconspicuous sign next to the bar, but this woman decided to made a scene and pointed to the small sign and refused to let me rejoin my party, where the drink I had purchased from The Lot was waiting for me. So, I would avoid this place, as customer service matters, and if she had been nice about an innocent mistake I made, I may have gone forth and frequented the establishment for years to come, as it stands they have lost my business today, and every day going forward. read more

So, I got a chili dog. It was amazing, the dog was awesome, chili was ok & bun was good. My problem was the grilled cheese I ordered for my son. It was all bread and butter with hardly any cheese. When I mentioned it to the lady she didn't offer to fix it, he still ate it, but fail on food & fail on service. Also it took a while for the food, that doesn't bother me too much if it's good.
