So if you're like me and get a little overwhelmed driving in new places, be aware that The Podski (food truck park) is on a one way street. I went the wrong way and magically didn't get into a car accident AND no one yelled at me AND I U-turned into a parking spot The Podski is super cute. Multicolored tables, ample seating. So many options. We chose Americana for the reasonably priced burgers with the option for a gluten free bun. And I was impressed with that bun! Great texture and it didn't fall apart. My kids got kid burgers and the 3 of us split one order of fries and we all left satisfied. Loved the rich cheesy flavor and the crispy edges of the patties. And the fries had a nice texture and saltiness.

The smash burger seems pretty trendy these days and I have had 2 in the Bend area and more in California where I am from. I can say with confidence, that these guys make the best smash burger I have ever eaten! For an incredible $8 you get the OG and it is awe inspiring! The crunchy edges of the patty seem almost impossible. It's like a snowflake of beef with yum, and bam, and holy crap this is so good! But wait! There is American cheese flowing through the cracks in this patty along with the fry sauce, that make the whole experience a sauced and gooey delight that everyone should experience! Oh ya there's killer bread and lettuce! Although podski has a bunch of awesome options, do yourself a favor and have a smash burger, they are a culinary work of art!

I don't like burgers. Until today. Glorious bacon, heavily buttered bun, cheese, BBQ sauce with some fried onions? Don't threaten me with a good time. I didn't breathe between bites--I simply inhaled the deliciousness. It's been 8 hrs and I am still thinking about this burger. Probably will still be thinking about it tomorrow too. The only thing that I would improve on is that I am not sure if the fries are made in house. They seemed pre frozen and flash fried. They still tasted good though.

A darn good smash. Proper crispy edges, soft bun, tangy sauce...the right amount of grease. Large portion with the fries which were cooked well. This truck is in a small but mighty pod with a decent amount of seating and street parking, but in a busy area. Service was friendly, definitely recommend if you love a good smash.

This place is always on point. Super friendly staff. One of my favorite spots in Bend. A weekly must at this point

BEST BURGER EVER! I'm not kidding, this burger was...I can't even describe how outstanding it was, and the fries were salted perfectly. The service was amazing and it only took about 10 minutes!! About damn time! This is how you do a burger. I was beginning to wonder if this was a lost art. Perfect ratio of meat, seasoning, cheese, sauce, toppings and grease with a smashed bun that compliments and holds together like it's supposed to. I've only tried the OG so far, and to me, that is everything I want in a burger. They have a couple options from there and I'm sure they are bomb too. Ordered a side of fries and they were crispy, salty, and hot just like I like. If you like burgers, you'll love this one. I've eaten a lot of burgers. This place definitely knows what they're doing. The char on that burger was so good, and the cheese was perfectly melted. I was making a lot of "mmMMMmMM" sounds as soon as I bit down. $8 can be pretty steep for a smaller size burger, but every bite is worth it. probably the only place in all of oregon that serves up fresh steak burgers that are smashed correctly and made to order. their sandwich is very similar to freddys in the midwest. probably the best burger in bend. the bun is really unique and adds a mild sweetness to the taste--i think it's a sweet potato bun? in any event yea...run.. don't walk here--the hype is real and everyone needs to try this read more

A friend told me this truck had the best burger in town. Ok, so we meet there at The Podski, grab a beer and order. I ordered the BBQ burger and fries. The order was up before our beer was finished which is saying something since it was pretty busy at the pod. This burger was so good it may cause me to be hesitant to order anything similar at another place. Perfectly seasoned smash burger style with the right amount of sauce and cheese that was crispy on the edges. So freaking good! The fries aren't fresh cut but salted perfectly and definitely go well with a beer. A person sitting near us who was eating sushi made note of how good our food looked and smelled and asked how it was. I told her I thought it was the best burger in Bend. Poor girl looked down at her sushi like it had committed a crime. Overall, a great place at a comfortable and friendly location. I'll be headed back soon. Best. Burger. In. Bend PERIOD.There I said it. Give me a better burger? Do it... Bend Burger Co? 900 Wall? Dandy's? Chow? Nope. None. I have tried my fair share in this town and none compare to this food truck. It starts with phenomenal, quality ingredients: great beef, properly seasoned, thick cut bacon and then pick your poison - if you like a creamy/saucy burger with some spice, get the jalapeño burger. If you like a simple, but well executed juicy burger, then get their OG (recommend adding bacon). Such a great price point may I add. I am telling you GO. Try it! It's truly amazing. Great job Americana! You did it. Keep doing what you are doing. Other restaurants in Bend, take notice - keep your menus simple, do just a few things really really well. And stop the price gouging just because we are in a tourist town. read more

Visited bend and my bro put me on! this was undoubtably the best burger ive ever had (triple og). aside from having all the desired qualities of a spectacular burger, it was handcrafted with extreme precision to a standard that cannot be surpassed. will definitely be returning when i come back to bend, and recommend you do the same. Some of the best burgers I've ever had!! The burger was cooked just right and the toppings were the perfect amount. The buns were toasted on the grill which added that extra flavor, it hit the spot. No doubt about it! They do not serve fry's or tots, just bagged chips as a side option. Regardless I would definitely come back and get another burger. The two men working were very welcoming and had great customer service. The food truck is parked right outside of spider city brewing which makes it easy to grab a drink while you wait for your grub, which we did and really enjoyed it. Highly recommend! read more

Stopped by the Podski today to grab a quick bite and a beer and hit up Americana for a burger. I'm not joking when I say I got one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. It was a double patty blue cheese smash burger and it was PHENOMENAL. Food is excellent, great smash burgers! I really like the pepper popper burger but my favorite is to get the OG cheeseburger and then add pickles and habanero sauce!! My boyfriend liked his grilled cheese which also had the option to add tomato soup. Food came out quickly even though it was busy. Expensive but worth it.

The first time I ordered from them through DoorDash, I honestly didn't enjoy the taste of the burger and even told a friend I wouldn't order again. But I did, then again, and again. Now it has become one of my favorite burgers in Bend. Their crinkle fries hit the spot, and the SuperTasty (a shake-style drink) lives up to its name. A small detail I really appreciate is how well they handle soft drink calibration and ice balance, something many places overlook. They're consistently quick with preparation, and even through DoorDash the food usually arrives warm to hot. Packaging is reliable, so nothing feels thrown together. In terms of value, I'd call it decent. Like many delivery spots, the real sting comes from the fees and tip, which means my burger, fries, and drink land at nearly $30 ($28.05, per the receipt). That said, for the quality, speed, and reliability, it's still one of my regular go-to choices in Bend.

Americana has become a regular topic in our household. As in "when can we go again," "I can't wait to go again," and "that was so dang good, I'm so glad we came." It has become a regular spot for us because the food is incredible, the staff (along with the manager and owner we saw working one day too) always super friendly, and the value is terrific. I just popped in for a cheeseburger after my workout. I have wanted to try this truck for a while, but it was never open when I was hungry. Two thin patties cooked on a griddle old school with cheese and a classic burger sauce. Juicy and satisfying. A very good retro style drive-in type burger for $8. Hands down the best burgers in bend! Every time I've been, the services has been incredibly friendly! The menu has everything I love, from The Popper to The Classic.
