Cornhole

Cute motel that's been remodeled. I'm huge into reuse & recycle, and I love this idea. Heated pool, bacci ball, cornhole, hammocks, and fire pits. There's a mixture of everything. I love the design, we walked into our room and first see the disco ball in the corner. The motel is furnished well for the theme. It is a little farther away from downtown flagstaff but only maybe a 10 minute drive ( a lot longer if a walk though) Walking distance from other places though.

This is a cute property for 1-2 nights, but not more. It's a small property that is more about image than what it's worth. It might be more worth it if you have a dog with their lenient policies. So here's the good and bad.... We stayed for 3 nights, it was cute but small. There is only one bedside table in the middle of the room, with minimal outlet access near the bed . The walls are thin, you could hear every step of the people upstairs and the ceiling squeaked. There were only two bath towels provided with 2 towels for a double queen room. We stopped by to see if we could check in early and the desk clerk said they'd text us if our room became ready early. We never got a text so we showed up at 4 and she greeted us again. While checking us in, she admitted she forgot to text us to tell us our room had been ready. Not a big deal, but the start of an example about the lack of attention to detail. The room comes with a fridge, however it is TINY! It is meant to fit a 6 pack and does not have a freezer. This is not disclosed online. The property is pretty, they clearly have put work into making it a vibe filled place to hangout. There is a heated pool and a pool bar, plus a taco bar! The fire places are a nice touch and we enjoyed them each evening. The battery went out in our smoke detector one afternoon and they responded quickly to get it replaced . The staff were responsive when we needed anything! The parking lot however needs some attention. There is a speed bump in the middle of the parking lot that multiple cars bumped into in the time we stayed. There are chunks missing from the bottom of peoples cars hitting it from how it's built. Overall, it's a cute place for Instagram pictures but not worth staying more than a night or two.

First the good: this is an incredibly affordable hotel, with comfortable rooms and lots of parking. The theme is really fun. Love the disco balls! Large walk-in showers, bikes and telescopes to borrow (though it was very tricky to set up the telescope), and there are fire pits and lawn games that might be fun in the summer. You also get welcome drinks--water or PBR (or both), and there's a cute gift shop with astronaut-themed snacks. My biggest complaint is that the on-site restaurant apparently randomly closes, so if you're planning on relaxing at the hotel after a long drive, might be best to pack a cooler just in case!

Comfortable, affordable overnight stay. Pleasant, warm retro style rooms. I slept great!

We had a great experience spending 4 nights at this motel when we came to visit from NY. The rooms are newly renovated and retro themed. We loved the disco ball and igloo cooler in our room. We love that it's dog friendly and they have a good sized dog park. We got to use one of their telescopes and they even went out of their way to get us an extra blanket. Everyone we met at the front desk was so kind and helpful. We had an amazing experience and definitely recommend checking it out

Flagstaff, AZ Americana Motor Hotel Discover Flagstaff's hidden gem: Americana Motor Hotel! This retro hotel was so cool , total 70's vibe and very fun kitschy outdoor pool ! The surrounding area had some great coffee shops & restaurants, we also loved the taco shop that was onsite.

We Love Booking Boutique Hotels during our travels! There's something about a quirky, artsy space that someone strategically designed to have an experience, that is clean, but fun. We wanted something reasonable in price for a quick day trip. This one looked fun, had good amenities, and plenty of parking. We got a "welcome drink" upon arrival (PBR) and settled in for the night. Room was clean, close parking, and fire pits were available on site. There's a heated pool, and a taco joint on site as well (vegan options and hours are limited). A few things I want to share that I didn't love about this place: 1. Walls are very thin. We were on floor level and heard not only walking above us, but also our neighbors TV until late hours 2. Robes were touching the ground when hanging 3. AC did not work well; it cycled a lot, but had a hard time cooling the room down to even 74 degrees 4. We found a baby centipede in our bathroom, while barefoot. Given there had been a lot of rain recently, and that causes insects to come out. He was squished, but I would not have appreciated our toddler getting stung. Overall, this was a fun little room for the night, but I would have struggled to get through another.

What a gem the Americana Motor Hotel is!! Everything from check-in to check-out was perfection! Such a cool place with a mod vibe. So super clean and really comfortable! We loved the decor! The life size astronaut at the entrance to the disco balls in the room and the cute igloo cooler for an ice bucket, every detail was well thought out. one of my favorite things was the picture of the corded phone in the bathroom! So clever! This was a memorable stay for sure!

Very cool Americana-themed motor hotel. So many interesting memorabilia and decor. It's the best place I've stayed at during my travels.

It's a downright rip off. $40 EXTRA for an $80 room, that's a 50% premium just because I have a dog. I asked what the outrageous fee was for and they could not give me an answer other than 'extra cleaning' which we all know is total BS. Housekeeping does absolutely nothing different because there was a pet in the room. Policies like this are just a blatant rip off. Anyways we went up the street to Days Inn where they don't charge exorbitant pet fees.

We come back hours later around 10:00PM and my room keycard wasn't working so I went to the front lobby to get a new one. The shorter India looking guy who was apparently the hotel manager said "Where and how did you get this card"? I said my roomate gave it to me so I could get into the room. He proceeded to say "Look, I know you guys have been clubbing, I am going to call the Police if you don't leave". After I heard that, I walked away and knocked on my roomates room door myself so he could let me in himself. My roomate let me in and called the front desk to give me my key back. Then the manager came and gave me my key back while I was in the room. This was hands down, the most unaccommodating, unpleasant and downright hotel experience ever. If my roomate had fallen asleep and was unable to answer the door, the manager would've called the cops on me and got me arrested. Do not stay at this establishment, the hotel across the street will always look out for your safety and wellbeing when you are down at the bar having a few drinks with your friends and family.

He seems mentally unbalanced and is not a good face for the business. I made a reservation online and arrived with a small camper in tow. Blue immediately assured me that it wouldn't be possible for me to park anywhere on the premises, though I'd already paid to stay the night. When I asked "surely you aren't that busy, the parking lot has many open spaces", he raised his voice to yell at me that as a policy they do not accept oversized vehicles and I needed to find somewhere else to stay. I am a young woman traveling alone and grown men yelling at me is scary, so I left the premises to find another hotel to stay at. I called the agency I booked the hotel through to cancel the reservation. Blue reassured them on the phone that he can't do a refund because one guest can only take up 2 parking spaces. My car and camper can detach and take up exactly 2 spaces. This detail would have been helpful to hear initially instead of being yelled at and shooed away so I could resolve the situation. Because I booked another hotel room at Blue's insistence, and then he refused me a refund. I returned to the hotel to clarify with Blue that I would have liked to know the bit about being able to take up 2 parking spots because I could have fixed the problem and stayed there instead of paying for 2 hotels, but he started raising his voice at me, telling me the blatant lie that he "was trying to tell me that, but I wouldn't listen", and continued to scream at me to get off his property. As long as this man is working here, I'd recommend staying far away from this business. I've added some photos of the space in the parking lot for reference.

This was two items they charged an extra $50 for. The "fan" was supposed to cool the room after 30 minutes but blew hot air out no matter what setting. This demonstrated lack of any oversight or care that a room in such deplorable conditions was even offered to a paying guest. I demanded my money back or that they make it right. We paid for a 6 night stay. The next room they moved us to was much better. The microwave was clean and the fridge worked. Turned on the "fan" and the room cooled to near freezing. We stayed our 6 nights. I believe this place has a long term stay area were there are sketchy people that I see holding signs on street corners. And I firmly believe they have substandard conditions there because they claimed their air conditioning was broken. Maybe in that one building but no fan will ever cool a room to near freezing. That's air conditioning. I believe they have a guest section where everything works and then a long term stay where they could care less that anything works. The location is convenient to a highway, Walmart, fast food and restaurants. Parking is plentiful. After a certain time you must speak to a kiosk with someone on video as the front desk is installed.

So when we had to travel to Flagstaff again for some appointments at the end of Feb this year, we figured things would be same. We had booked through Priceline a queen room in a smoking room as we vape. When we checked in, the woman was very nice and check in was fine. Our room however was not good. It was 2 double beds. One of the lights didn't work. The lights that did work had two different light shades. There was something very sticky dropped on the floor that hot water couldn't even get off the floor. One of the lamp shades was broken. The TV got maybe 10 tv channels. There was a dirty crusty washcloth hanging on the shower curtain bar. The beds were pretty hard. The biggest downfall of the room was how hot the room was. When we checked in, it was really warm, so we pushed the ancient (falling off the wall) thermostat all the way to cool and turned on the fan. Instead of cooling the room, it got to over 90 degrees. We woke up at 4 am dying in the heat. We had to open the door and let the cold air in to cool off the room. We were not able to sleep after. At checkout, you don't actually check out with a real person, it's a kiosk with someone across the world. It is so impersonation. I believe since Motel 6 has been acquired by Oyo, they have gone downhill. Also, look into the air vent. Ours shows the filter had not been changed since November 2024.
