    On April 19th 3 pm I took time off work to get an eye exam. I was told that they were running…read morebehind due to an "emergency" they had. Ok, fine no problem. I wondered around their 10 x 10 office looking at frames. They called me back and did the preliminary exam, the annoying puff in the eye thing, and then sent me back to wait. I began to notice people who had come in after me going back to be examined, picked out glasses and left. One unhappy customer came in, argued and left. Two hours later someone came over and asked me if I had been seen yet. I told them I had but was waiting to see the Dr. Since I really didn't have much to do that day and understand that some days things just happen, I wasn't concerned. At 4:30 I got my exam and got my frames. Over $1000.00 later, and the last customer in the office, I left. They told me my glasses would be ready in 1 week to 10 days. Two weeks later, no glasses. My husband called to inquire about my glasses and they told them they forgot to order them! Ok, so what are you going to do? Please order them. I'm a pretty passive person. Today is May 26th, and I have no glasses. I think my patience has run out. I got my first pair of glasses here about 8 yrs ago and a couple pairs since then. Since that time their selection has gone down hill (the girl with the exceptional taste in frames has left) and their service has gone to hell! If this was my business I would be seriously concerned. I would have written this sooner but I can't FREAKING SEE TO WRITE IT BECAUSE I DONT HAVE MY GLASSES! I'll go to the mall before I ever go here again!

    My family has been coming here for several years for our annual eye exams. The clinic is modern,…read moreclean and professional. You are always greeted by their receptionists right away. The doctors here are excellent optometrists. Just be aware that they will always try to sell you on getting retinal imaging which is not covered by vision insurance. I happen to have medical reasons to get this done, but no one ever spends the effort to ask if I would like to use my medical insurance to cover it. If you want to save another doctors' appointment, it might be worth $59, but you may have to demand they submit to you should check your insurance coverages. I decided to save this type of exam for an ophthalmologist for their scope of practice. The lobby has many brand names of eye frames to choose from. Every year I ask if they have "asian fit" options or brands and they have yet to add to their selection. I was told they have some of those brands at the "other" office. When I asked about ordering from the catalog (I happen to know exactly what brand and style would work), they were kindly able to order it for me. However, when I inquired about the cost, it is clear there is a significant uncharge for their "broker" fees. You might consider just ordering the same frame cheaper from many options available online for the exact same thing. You are basically paying extra so you can try it on in person. It is coincidental that it will also be just above what your vision insurance covers. Overall, the eye care that is delivered by the optometrists here is great. I have always received excellent care from them. The extra services and add-ons should be carefully considered for the value if you so choose. Also, this medical complex has becoming increasingly busy and it is often much harder to find parking each year. You might need to allow a few extra minutes to circle around to find a spot so you are not late to your appointment.

This…read moreoffice called, and told me that they couldn't allow me to be seen because my retina records show I had a shot done to the eye a month ago, and my eyes were too unstable. I responded that while I've had the retina reattached, I've never had a shot placed in either of my eyes, ever. They refused to believe me, insisting that the notes in the file stated I did. I know what I've had done. I know why, how, when and where and by whom. To suggest that the patient doesn't know what has been done, is, in my opinion, asinine. Ask yourself: Do you want work done by a medical establishment that refuses to listen to the patient and the truth?

YET YALL SCHEDULED HER FOR WHATEVER YOU WANTED. ALSO, Just got the insurance EOB in the mail. Yall charged them for Eye AND MEDICAL EXAM. Yet we couldnt discuss the floaters or some of the other findings? Yeah right!!!! Seems like the doctor was just in a rush/bad mood. You should talk to Dr Pilcher about her bedside manner. Im not the only one who's complaining in these reviews about her rudeness and wanting to rush. If she doesnt like her job she should find a new one. If she is in such a rush she shouldve taken the day off. Knocked off another star. NEVER coming back. Im gonna make sure people know to steer clear of this place. Rude Dr and dishonest billing. Dr Pilcher is kind of rude not going to lie. First when she came in, she said Its Chaos out there. Didnt introduce herself. Not very personable. Seemed like she was in a major rush. Kept saying come on really loud when my elderly mom was trying to read the eye chart.
