COVID-19 era review: Americas tires was awesome! I went online and researched the tires I wanted to purchase. I shopped around to make sure I was getting the best deal and then made my appointment online. Their website is easy to navigate and scheduling an appointment took me less than 5 minutes. Once I arrived, they checked me in while I sat in the car, came out and got the mileage without touching my car and told me to pull the car into the bay. Because I had an appointment I was seen and taken care of right away! Two guys worked on my tires and I was in and out in less than 45 mins total! I felt safe with their Covid-19 safety precautions because almost everything was contactless.. If you need tires, make sure you check out their prices. read more

Had to fix a patch I had only a week ago from a different tire shop. Been doing a lot of driving and noticed air pressure was going down again. Decided to replace it to not have to worry about it further. Called a few different places but Americas Tires was available and gave me a nice replacement quote. Fast and great service! Pros: They finished quick. Seemed to be able to handle high customer volume pretty well If they take long, they can send you a text when your service is over. Cons: Tried to retrieve my keys the first time after coming back and waiting in line like everyone else, was told they would be right with me, then proceeded to do 2 additional customer inspections. So why call yourself "America's Tire" when you don't even have them on stock. The situation was like, "take this brand or wait until we get the brand you like". I walked out. My husband has been a Discount Tire/America's Tire devotee for over a decade and has convinced me that AT truly provides a great service at a good value. I've been here a dozen times and have always been happy with the friendly customer service. A few months ago, our Jeep got an irreparable flat tire and we searched everywhere for new tires to upgrade from the factory ones. By far the best deal was found at America's Tire, where they special ordered our all-weather tires and even let us keep the originals. I get compliments about the tires all the time and I'm really pleased with how they handle. (Only drawback is that they are loud!) Today I'm back at AT for our regular rotation (free with the certificates we purchased with the tires) and even though I made an appointment, I expect to be here for a while so I brought my work laptop. (The appointment time was 10 a.m. but 40 minutes have passed and my vehicle is still out front.) Much to my surprise, I don't have to schlep to Starbucks or use my phone's hotspot for wifi because AT has free WiFi! How great is that? Oh, and they have coffee and hot tea for customers, too. I know that's not why you should choose a tire shop, but it's such a nice added bonus. read more

I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD!! I have been coming here for years. The service has never been great but it was workable. The past few years they have gone down hill. Where to start.. My wife got a small gash in the side of her tire on the way to our rental property out here. I was at work 70 plus miles away. I told her to drive the car to Americas Tire and I got back to work.. Keep in mind she had BRAND NEW TIRES ON HER CAR. They were purchased 3 months ago. Some hours go by and I havent heard from her so I gave her a ring to see how it was going. She tells me they had her wait an hour and said they were working on her car but she could see it never moved from where she parked it. She tells me that minus that everything went alright. Few hours later I see her at home. I go out to the garage with her to check on the car and I see that he has TWO DIFFERENT TIRES ON THE BACK OF THE CAR. The two back tires were some cheap Chinese tires. I asked her what happened to her tires and she told me that they refused to fix the tire with the gash. They told her BLESS HER SOUL that she needed to replace it. She tells me that then they told her she had to get a matching tire or it would decrease the value of her car.. She doesnt know much cars and fell for this. To add insult to injury, they charged her for a disposal fee on both tires. She told me that she watched the technician helping her take the tires off her car and load them on the back of a beat up silverado that pulled up. Whole thing stinks to HIGH HELL! I called and spoke with the manager who told me he didnt have the time to talk to me and hung up. I called back and they put me on hold for 50 minutes and then hung up. Shameful. I would have sent her to Tom s tire down the street but they pissed me off for the last time. See my review on those scammers. read more

I recently walked in on a Friday afternoon so I could have them look at the tires on our van. It was busy, but the employees made an effort to say hello to me, and to thank mefor your patience while I wait. J.R. was name of the employee who helped me out. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I got a quote for 2 new tires, but decided to hold off for the time being, and just had the tires balanced, to see if that might help. Upon return a few days later I was helped by Kenny, who greeted me with a handshake and a smile. He looked up my quote from before and helped me as I decided to have all 4 tires replaced. This company is a total rip-off. Home of the low price guarantee, what a joke! Do your research, America Tire will always quote a price of at least $90 to $100 above its competitor. Use your local tire dealer on Sierra Hwy. (J-8'ish). You'll get the real price upfront, great service representatives and fast service too. This company will try to sell you rims, BS warranty they will never honor due to fine print technicalities. I got a flat tire and was able to get a spare on it until I was able to get my tire repaired. I went to the closest tire shop from my job, I was in complete shock when the guy jay from the front desk told me if it's repairable they will repair it and install it for free. I was so happy! I got my tire fixed and installed from here. They were also so welcoming and had a positive attitude. Definitely recommend coming here! They really care for their customers! I called for comparison estimates and these guys beat the price by a lot. Called back and they made time to see me same day for install. I'm beyond happy!!!!!!!! I need to add that Johnny helped me. While we experienced polite customer service from both Joseph and Tony(?), we were left wanting more in the getting our needs met department. We had our trailer tires checked before going on a long trip-given an all clear- then experienced a blow out leaving us stranded for several hours in the muddle of no where. We were then told the tires were very old and should have been replaced before the trip. We came back for a noise in the wheel well and missing a cap. The wrong cap was ordered although whoever ordered did order 3 different sizes just in case. Alex and Michael were quick to try to help and I'm grateful. This has been my preferred tire store for several years, I wouldn't go anywhere else. The employees are always so cheerful, helpful, and go out of their way to make sure you understand what is going on. I appreciate the free tire pressure check they offer, and make frequent use of it. Free flat repairs is quite appreciated as well. The showroom is always clean and orderly; even during these COVID times, they were thoughtful in setting the chairs outside for waiting customers. Worst place to ever go!!! Their tires suck, I had to go twice already because it keeps become flat. AND ITS A NEW TIRE, on top of that they charge like $16-$18 to change the tire THAT WAS ALREADY DAMAGED. Looks like a nice fancy place but their supplies are damaged and don't work. First off. I gave them a 1 star because they don't have a 4 star coming at all. What I witnessed while in that store should honestly be a crime. They took advantage of a woman. As I was sitting there for 2hrs, I actually got to see the woman's husband come in and retaliate. The sales staff really had that coming. Don't trust these guys or give them business. I like that they weren't trying to up sell and go directly to the highest tire price. He listened to our driving habits and made suggestions based on that.
