My 2022 Kia Stinger GT2 RWD was in need for new tires. This vehicle was specifically manufactured with a staggered wheel fitment, meaning different size pair in the front versus the rear set. I ordered four tires from Tire Rack and set an appointment for this location to receive and install my order. I had a 9am appointment on 1/16/26 and I arrived on time. I paid the $127.10 installation fee at the counter upon check-in with Devin, as installation is payable to America's Tire and not part of my original order with Tire Rack. After about 80 minutes, my vehicle was pulled to the front entrance and I was handed my keys and sent away. Immediately after starting my car again to pull away from their shop, I heard and felt a massive grinding noise from my vehicle. I turned back to the shop, parked my vehicle and walked back inside to report this issue. Devin took my keys and explained that they would take a look to see what was the issue. After another 40 minutes, it was determined that their installation employees placed the larger tires/wheels in the front of my vehicle and not in the correct locations on the rear. I was then ushered into the repair bay and shown the damage, chewed up alloy wheels and gouging on my front suspension struts. They then placed the tires/wheels back onto my vehicle, this time in the correct positions. After that, I was asked for my contact details and assured that a representative from America's Tire's corporate office would be in contact with me within 48 hours to arrange repairs and replacements of all damaged items related to their mismanagement of my tire installation. I was assured by Devin, the assistant manager, that this would all be done at no expense to me and I should be safe to drive home and wait for that call from America's Tire corporate office. I'm writing this review to document every detail and to ensure that America's Tire makes good on their word that my vehicle will be repaired in full and at their expense. I have used American Tire for years, but after two nearly identical experiences at your Riverbank, CA location, my family and I are done. Seven months ago I brought in a tire with a puncture. The staff inspected it, told me it was not patchable, and quoted roughly $200 for a new tire. I took the same tire to Pep Boys on McHenry Avenue, where it was patched immediately. That patch has held perfectly for seven months with zero issues. Today my wife brought in a different tire with a flat at the same Riverbank store. Staff examined it, told her it could be patched, had her wait almost three hours, and then changed their story--claiming it was no longer patchable and quoting approximately $200 for a replacement. She took the tire to the same Pep Boys location, where it was patched without any problem. Two separate tires, two separate visits to your Riverbank store, months apart--yet the identical pattern: an initial inspection suggesting a repair is possible, a long wait, and then a sudden reversal pushing an expensive new tire that turned out to be completely unnecessary. This is not an isolated mistake. It is either repeated incompetence or a deliberate tactic to pressure customers (especially those who may not know to get a second opinion) into buying tires they do not need. Either explanation is unacceptable. We trusted American Tire for years, but the Riverbank location has destroyed that trust. We will not return, and I will make sure everyone we know hears exactly why. You have lost loyal, long-term customers for good. read more

5 star service. Came here on two separate occasions. 1st was due to a flat tire. The team fixed my tire at NO COST under an hour. 2nd I came back for a tire rotation and it was completed in less than one hour at NO COST. Team was great, very informative. Will definitely go back. Went into this location on 12/26 with hope of getting this flat repaired. Waited over an hour which was no big deal. When service was done they had told me that they THINK the rim was bent after dunking it. I go on to ask if they saw a bend he said no, just saw a "small something." But the tire was in good shape. No big deal, i order a new rim and go to get it put on at an entirely different tire shop since they were closed New Year's Day. Lone behold the rim was not bent as the other shop dunked it and clear as day was a hole in the tire pushing air out so bad. Beware of Sensor Scam at America's Tire Riverbank I recently visited America's Tire in Riverbank and was shocked when they tried to convince me that my tire sensors were "old" and needed replacing after getting new tires installed from them. The reality? My sensors were working perfectly fine before I came in. This felt like a clear attempt to upsell unnecessary replacements by misleading customers into thinking their sensors are faulty. If I hadn't questioned it, I could have easily been pressured into paying for something I didn't actually need. If this location tells you your tire sensors are bad, get a second opinion before spending your money. Honest businesses don't resort to deception to make a profit. Unfortunately, this experience has made me lose trust in this store. I got a second opinion from the car dealership and they just needed to be reprogrammed after getting new tires (at American Tire) be aware of the scam they are attempting to run for profit! read more

Great customer service! I have taken 3 of my vehicles to them from simple air pressure to fixing a flat at no charge and replacing tires on two of the vehicles. Everytime I have been there the staff is really professional and nice and very helpful! They were able to get my car back on the road quickly even when they didn't have the tire in stock they had it ordered and had done the next day. 1 Star - Unsafe Service, Dismissive Staff & Contradictory Policies I came to America's Tire in Riverbank for a simple tire pressure adjustment, but instead, I was met with incompetence, contradictions, and complete disregard for my concerns. * I requested 42 PSI per tire based on the recommendation inside my gas tank. Instead, the technician overinflated my tires to 55 PSI, far beyond a safe level. * When I pointed out the mistake, I was dismissed and told they could only follow the PSI listed on the door placard. But if that's their policy, why did they overinflate my tires beyond even that number? * After arguing with me, they offered to "correct" their mistake but still refused to set my PSI to the number I requested, ignoring the second manufacturer-recommended PSI listed in my gas tank. * Two different managers repeated the same contradictory and dismissive statements, refusing to acknowledge their own mistake. The company claims to prioritize customer safety and treat people how they want to be treated on their website, but their actions at this location say otherwise. Instead of owning their mistake and ensuring my vehicle was safe, they wasted my time arguing, dismissing me, and refusing to listen. If you want your tires inflated correctly and your concerns taken seriously, go somewhere else. This is not a place to visit if you need a quick visit. We arrived at 11:30 and were not seen till 1:15pm. We didn't have a problem with the wait time especially since the price for a new tire was fair. If you are looking for a used tire be sure to call ahead of time to make sure they have it. The reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is due to one of their tire technicians Raymond. Upon arrival we parked in front of the shop. (We usually visits mom & pop shops where this is normal) Raymond was unhappy with this and made it known. His behavior was rude & unprofessional (he made faces of disgust and repeatedly shook his head while looking at me) I appreciate the tire technician who kindly came up to the car and let me know how their shop works and where too park. I have poor tread on my front tires. I am looking to buy new ones, just not today. I asked the staff to fix a leak on a rear tire which they said was in good condition. They refused to work on the leak unless I first replaced my front tires and then proceeded to offer me prices for new front tires. I specifically said just the leak for now and they refused. Great service and best prices. The front tires on my car were wearing down and I needed to replace them. I usually get my tires at Costco but the tires I wanted were out of stock at Costco. I'm glad they were because I might start getting my tires here from now on. I ordered my tires online and I made an appointment online too. I got a call after purchasing the tires saying that there have been shipment delays because of Fed Ex and to wait for a call from them to notify me that my tires arrived at the shop. One of the two tires arrived the day before my appointment and I was told the next one would arrive the following day which pushed back my appointment by one day. That was fine with me. I was worried the wait time would be long. I was told it would take 45 min. The actual time was probably 15-25 minutes. I was very happy with the wait time. I was also happy that they didn't try to sell anything to me or up the price at the store. Being a female, I always get worried that I get tricked into buying something I don't need or getting sold on a service for my car that I don't need. I'm happy that this shop didn't try to do that. I missed the appointment because I was asleep because I got home from a flight 3 hours prior. Totally my fault. Apologized and went in as soon as I got up. Was informed it would be a walk in which I completely understood and said so. Problem was they purposely put my vehicle to the side because they were mad I missed the appointment. Literally didn't realize I was standing there and one of the employees was telling the other guy to just leave it and do a couple more people before getting to it. I just recently discovered that you can easily make an appointment through their website! This makes a nice feature since I also had to reschedule online a few times due to time constrictions without calling them. Recently came here to do my tire rotations. Edward is the man who assisted me. Super nice guy and got my car finished earlier than expected! Highly recommend to have an appointment if you want your wait time to be cut short. Now I just came in again today since I hit a curb and got a piece of my tire's sidewall to come off. I needed a consultation if it was safe to drive and low and behold, Edward was the man who assisted me again. I told him what happened and his thoughts of my tire. I must say, this guy is awesome. He is very well composed, respectable to his customers, patient, and highly knowledgeable. This is what great customer service entails and makes a great establishment successful! Been a while since I returned for service here but was pleasantly surprised by the fresh faces in this Riverbank site. I've ordered online a set of tires for 2015 STI and set up an appointment to replace the existing. I got a call early in the morning to just drive to where a placard sign is at the appointment time. In and out of the shop within 30 minutes. It was an early appointment so the work was streamlined like a conveyor belt. I saw maybe 5 people performing each phase of removal, mounting, balancing, and eventual installation of the new tires. They even provided proper 2 lug nuts to replace the ones I temporarily installed since they were missing or broken before. Kudos also to the counterperson that attended to me. I first went to the Standiford location for tire pressure sensors and had a bad experience. The person didn't want to take the time to check and see how many sensors were bad, so I left. I then called the Riverbank store and spoke with Chris. Once I arrived, Chris gladly went out and checked every sensor and let me know which ones were bad. They replaced all sensors in a timely manner. So I dropped off my wife's suv and my new wheels to America's Tire in Riverbank in the morning around 9am. She was getting new tires and so was I. I told them about the wheels in the back, what center caps to use, the tpms and hub rings. He gave me and okay and said they will get it taken care of. Had to leave to take my wife for an interview and they said they would text me in a few hours. I get the text and head back. My wife's car is done, and I see tires mounted on my wheels. As I go and inspect the wheels I see they mounted the wheel weights and I asked if anything could be done about the color and placement and the guy there said yeah we can switch to black and you wont have to worry about any tape residue left behind. I said okay and went to the lobby. I waited for them to mount the wheels to the car. Once I heard the car I headed outside and watched as they used 4 hydraulic-jacks to lift my car to put on the new wheels. They were having issues with their socket and the stock lug bolts so they offered to set me up with some slim profile tuner lugs for the time being. I said ok and thank you. I stayed around and started inspecting the wheels and that's when I noticed that 2 of the wheels had nicks and chipped paint, and when they jacked up my car they really jacked up my car and ripped a screw out of my side skirt extension and warped it. I also included 2 sets of center caps and hub rings to keep the wheels balanced, but those were in the discard pile ready to be thrown away. They only looked once I told them and even then they threw away my second set of center caps. When I told them about the incident they told me that they put in a claim report and will follow up in 2 days. If anything is done I will change my score. Until then rating stays. And the only reason they are getting 2 stars is because they helped with the lug bolts and wheel weights. Also, from my experience and watching them work, if you want someone to take care of your car dont take it here. Why? Steven is a SAINT. Came in here to check my tires because dad said one looked off. Not only did Steven set my tires straight he was super proactive and asked if I'd let him put them at a level anticipating the upcoming hotter days. "Do you, Steven!" He checked my wipers and pointed out they're rubber and are in decent condition but they're stiff and are leaving streaks on my windows due to said stiffness and that I'd benefit from silicon ones. I also mentioned my fear that I may need alignment done on the tires and he scanned all of them and said the tread was looking normal and worn in the center so an alignment won't be necessary. This dude was so informative and genuinely seemed like he dug his job. Not only am I leaving this 5 star review but I'm making an appointment to get a set of tires next payday and to get my crusty wipers replaced. I love you, Steven. Horrible! If you don't know cars they will lie to your face. After agreeing to the service, because I was told what I had was unsafe. I should have went with my intuition. I spoke to some friends who i know are knowledgeable in automotives and they said those were the most ridiculous reasons they had heard of. I love America's Tire. They are close and quick. I buy all my tires from them because they come with the protection program that just paid off. I had a screw in my tire and they took it out and fixed the leak for free. Two of my tires had to be replaced and because I had the protection plan, one of the new ones was basically free with the rebate I received because of the protection plan. They were able to fix the flat, put on 2 new tires and rotate all 4 in 45 minutes on a Saturday. The only downside is they are not open on Saturdays. This place is great!!!! This is not the first review for America's Tire that I have written. Every time I come here, I get impressed all over again. Every employee I have dealt with or talk to, all seem to treat every customer as a VIP guest and most important person to them. I had a bolt in 1 tire and needed to replace the rest. So I told the guy to just quote me for 4 new tires. I have a large diesel truck with large off road tires. The quote came out to $1350 for all new tires. And I said ok to it. But the guy behind the counter said he wasn't done. He started giving me reimbursements and discounts and got the set of 4 new tires down to $488. It seriously made my day. I am sure that they do this for everyone. But it really felt like preferential treatment. I turkey recommend bringing your tire business here any time you need tires. read more

Having dealt with various persons at America's Tires, they definitely are trained in attending to their customers questions and tire and wheel needs. After service it's fast and efficient, they're a busy store but get the job done. You can make an appointment or walk-in, but remember they're usually busy but will work you into as best and fast as they can. I've had to vehicles serviced there and have yet to be disappointed.
