Only part I had an issue with was 5 minutes after I left, my tire pressure sensor went off and I took it in and apparently my tires were over filled with air but it was fixed quickly. We brought 2022 our 4Runner in for a simple steering wheel alignment after installing a new suspension with a local shop. (Our alignment warranty was provided through the shop to work with Les Schwab). They had our vehicle for almost four hours and then called to let us know our lower control arm and bushing needed to be replaced. Total cost: $1,110- 1,500. We were told the lower control arm is always replaced when a bushing in damaged, whether it needs replacing or not, which was our case. Our only option for a lower control arm was an after market Duralast part. We decided to get a second opinion before moving forward with the repairs. As we left the shop, the steering wheel lost tension while the ABS and Traction Control also went off. Our dash indicated there was a problem with our "Front Collision sensors" and we needed to return to the dealer! The steering wheel was now at 6 o'clock. We called Les Schwab and they instructed us to return. The tech apologized and said "his guys" forgot to "zero out the sensors". Oh, he also said the steering wheel was going to "stay like that" until we fixed the problem they quoted us for. We left and decided to get a second opinion. A second shop hoisted our vehicle and showed us that there was no damage to the either part and neither one needed to be replaced. The second shop recommended we reach out to the shop that installed our suspension. After getting a hold of the shop that installed our suspension we were told to drive Stockton Les Schwab to meet with a more competent mechanic. We had to drive the vehicle for a week with the steering wheel at 7 0'clock before Stockton Les Schwab could see us. Friday afternoon we finally got an appointment and in under one hour, Stockton Les Schwab had fixed our vehicle and confirmed that the repairs we were quoted were not at all necessary. Stockton Les Schwab saved us $1,500!! I will never return to Riverbank Les Schwab due to their incompetence, lack of insight and care for their customers. read more

Wow this place has turned into a giant joke. Came in for an oil change and requested that they look at my tire depth so i could see how much life i had on my tires. Not only did they not do the tire depth ( because we had to ask them to put air in the tires), they didnt tell me i was out of coolant or didnt have a cap on my washer fluid. What else did you not do that i paid for? I probably didnt receive a tire rotation, because like i said they couldnt even out air in my tires. If you don't like your job, go somewhere else. read more

I recently had tires and rims put on my High Country Chevy. After getting the tires I had rubbing so we put a lift on it. I told him I wanted it to ride the same. My car is beautiful and it rides the same!! I had the lift powder coated so, it took a few days and I was getting impatient so Joe stayed until after midnight working on getting my car. I had my car in the morning. All the guys who work there are helpful and friendly! But, Joe, is the guy!!!!! He goes way beyond to make a customer happy! Even days after, I needed assistance and he came to me and got my car. He fixed my car and returned it to me. I'll never go anywhere else for my tire needs because Joe is very knowledgeable and will go beyond making the customer happy!! read more

To say you have a new customer is the least! I will be referring everyone I know here as well! Amazing job! Got an alignment done here and they were very honest about what I needed and what was going on with my tires. They had made a recommendation on tires to prevent the issue I was having. We would have gone with them based on their service and professionalism but we had ordered through Costco. They printed out a future recommendation, added it to my account and sent me on my way. The next day I went to my appointment to find out that they do not have the tires we ordered and purchased two weeks ago. I call Les Schwab back and speak to Noah. I explain to Noah what is going on and I am leaving for a trip. He comes to the rescue calling and arranging for the tires recommended to be at their facility in less than 24 hours! I had to stop here in my way home, I had a nail in my driver rear tire and was loosing air quickly. The lady at the front desk was so sweet and helpful! She was able to squeeze me in so they could fix my tire! I didn't have to wait very long before someone took my car! Not only that but I was not charged at all to get it fixed! Joseph, Jeremy, and Harley were so great! I came in unsure of what issue I had with my car. They recommended new tires and an possibly an alignment. I could have easily been charged for the alignment and I would paid it, not knowing better. After they checked it out, they showed me the results and informed me the alignment was not needed. I was so thankful with how patient they were with me while I discussed my tire issues and how genuinely they wanted to help. Not many places do that. Shops usually try to overcharge me. Took my car in on 6/17/19 for grinding noise. Was advised that the two back brakes, rotors and calipers needed to be replaced. Bill: $540.93 On 6/19/19 - Called shop and spoke with Tera - advised her I still hear the same exact grinding that was present before I took the car in. She stated whenever I get a chance to take it back in. 6/20/19- took my car back in and was advised that it was the front bearing that needs to be replaced, also needed an alignment. Why was this not noticed the first time after their full inspection?? Bill: $235.48 After all of this - I still have the same EXACT grinding noise. I will update my review after I send a complaint to corporate office. So dis appointing. I have always bought my tires here with no issues. This place CERTAINLY lost my trust and honestly doesn't deserve customer happiness. I brought in my AMG to the store to figure out a squealing sort of grind in the brakes. Once in the air with the wheel removed they told me what it was and where it was, But if they were to fix it, That they would have to do an entire brake job. BS, They were brand new brakes and one of the pins was just stuck inside the rotor, Literally took it to my buddies shop ( Which I'm glad I brought it here first so I could learn NOT to trust the service writers ) and threw it on the lift myself to fix the the pin and BAM. Popped right out with a gentle pry from a flat head and the problem was fixed in seconds. I'm more than sure the technician knew it was an easy fix, But i'm also sure the writer wanted to make some money probably due to the kind of car it was. This place SUCKS, and I'll be glad once the business leaves Riverbank. read more

Long wait time! Came in before 5pm for a simple nail in the tire issue only to be told it's 1 1/2 to 2 hour wait. Then to be asked if we want to wait. Really, can't really drive it anywhere else. So here we sit waiting, while you do not hear any machines or mechanical noises in the garage, only employees yelling at each other and another employee walking around like he's lost. I didn't get past trying to make an appointment. All I needed was brake pads and maybe the rotors turned. They won't replace just the pads. They only replace pads and calipers. Seriously? Pads are a wear component. Calipers are not. read more

Rang in the new year 2013 with a flat tire on my van. My neighbor threw my spare on for me, and recommended Les Schwab to me to fix my flat (it was a nail that caused it). Went in on Jan 2nd, and they had my flat fixed in no time. They didn't even charge me a dime. Fast forward to March, and the arrival of my tax refund. As much as it pains me to be practical and buy things like new tires, and bifocals, I knew both were necessary. I went back to Les Schwab, and a very friendly guy (Nick?) explained the choices I had between tires. When I chose the least expensive ones, he did not try to upsell me to the pricier tires (which I appreciate). I hope I'm not still driving this stupid van when the new tires need replacing, so I wanted the most affordable option now. Anyway, they told me it'd be 45min, but it was less than a half hour. They did a great job, and even fixed a rattle under my van (some bolt on some pan or something was a little loose...that's technical talk, there), without my asking. I would like to take a star off my review for the suffering I endured smelling the new tire rubber in the waiting room for 30min, but they can't really help that, since you know...it's a tire place. Perhaps a vapor-lock door into an aromatherapy chamber could be added someday? Till then, I'll still get my tires here. :) read more

Was stranded (in the rain no less) on the road due to a flat tire and realizing I didn't have road side assistance, I remembered that my tires were purchased at Les Schwab previously (a different location than Riverbank). I called the local Les Schwab Tire Center which happened to be in Riverbank and they said no problem, they would be out in a few minutes to help me. These guys can do great work. I refuse to go back after they tried to play me as a fool. I came in to get my tires checked after having a lot of vibration. I had the tires and brakes done by them. They outright refused to look at my vehicle so I was forced to drive 30 minutes to the one in Ceres. I will no longer go to the location in Riverbank. The brake and tire service I did get from them was great. But they are terrible at warranty service. read more

Had a very negative experience with this store today. An employee named "Brian" admitted to me that he drove my vehicle down "Oakdale Road" at speeds of 70mph to recreate a braking problem (the legal speed limit is 35-40). Also, I paid half the minimum payment last month due to financial difficulties and was informed that he would NOT service my vehicle and that as far as he was concerned, he should just take my tires off right now as they belong to them. He was EXTREMELY rude and it was uncalled for. I have informed his customer service manager at the corporate office and I will not be returning to this store. read more

He asked me to go to Meineke and get my quote for $502 and he'd see if he could accommodate it and right after said after I asked if I could have it faxed stated that no I had to walk the quote in so I was prepared to go to Modesto get the quote from Gary at Meineke and he then said there's nothing he could do for me and I asked if I would be wasting my time and he said yes basically I would!
