I had an inconsistent vibration while driving at freeway speeds. It would go away for a little while and come back. My first thought was that it was a loose sound deadening pad in the tire because it was inconsistent. I went to a local small business tire shop in Novato and explained my problem. I asked them to dismount the tires and check the pad. Instead, they just balanced the tire and sent me on my way. Needless to say, the problem remained. Same story at another local tire shop. I made two visits and they still refused to dismount the tire and inspect it. Both places charged me for a balancing. Finally I took it to America's Tire. There, Kevin helped me out and immediately dismounted the tire and found the loose foam pad. He put it back together and balanced the tire. Problem solved! It was very frustrating not being heard by the other tire shops, but Kevin was familiar with the problem and helped me out. I truly appreciate a business that listens to their customers. read more

I came here for new tires and overall had a really good experience. The pricing was significantly cheaper than comparable places in Marin, which was a huge plus, and the shop itself is clean, organized, and easy to be in while you wait. When I arrived, they took my car right away since I had already prepaid and scheduled my appointment. Everything was done super fast, about 45 minutes total. Kevin was very helpful, and George at the front desk was especially kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming. You could tell he really knew his stuff and was happy to help. I drive a German car, and while I'm happy with the new tires and feel much safer driving now, the reason I'm not giving five stars is because when I left, one of my sensors was going off. Their system showed that I needed to drive for about 20 minutes for it to reset. I ended up setting a timer on my phone and driving around until it cleared, which it eventually did, but I was also running low on gas, so the whole thing was a bit stressful. Before leaving, I wanted to make sure the sensor was accurate, but it ended up being something I had to follow up on over the phone with Kevin later, which was fine, but when you're spending over $1,000, that's the kind of thing that would be nice to have double-checked before sending someone on their way. Especially with more particular cars like German vehicles that have lots of sensors. That said, I really appreciate that they offer free tire rotations every 5,000-7,000 miles, and the team works fast and efficiently. Overall, I'm happy with my tires and would come back. One small recommendation: one of the bathrooms had a broken sink, and there wasn't any hand sanitizer available. With so many people using the restroom, it would be great to have that fixed. All in all, a solid place with good pricing, friendly staff, and efficient service -- just a couple of details that could be improved. read more

Great place! The service was fast and efficient. Not expensive at all. The first time I came based on a recommendation, apparently my tires were out of balance. They told me the wait would be 40 minutes, but they ended up fixing my car in less than 20 minutes. How nice! Today, we came because we had a screw stuck in one of the tires, causing an air leak. We also needed new windshield wipers. Victor was very nice. He helped us out and took great care of us. They fixed the tire for free and installed the new windshield wipers in less than 15 minutes. A few months ago after having repairs done to my car at a close by repair shop, the mechanic let me know I had a nail in my tire. He suggested I pop over to America's Tire to have it repaired. I typically go to Les Scwhab for all tire needs, however heeded his suggestion. I told the sales person at America's tire that a mechanic sent me over as I had a nail in my tire. He said it would be 30 minutes. It was over an hour, which was fine because I didn't have an appointment however, when he returned, he let me know there was no nail in my tire. I let him know the mechanic stated I had one and it was even stated on my paperwork, but he said nope, no nails, all tires all good . I was surprised yet relieved. A few weeks ago my tire warning came on on my vehicle so I took it in for a check to Les Schwab yesterday- sure enough I was informed there indeed was a nail in my tire (same tire that was checked by America's Tire) and at this point I needed a new tire which was unfortunate as I have all wheel drive, so I had to buy four new tires. I feel that if the nail had been found originally at America's Tire, I might have avoided needing my tires replaced. In this case, Les Schwab is the winner as I purchased my four tires from them and America's Tire lost out. read more

Don't have any pictures of the new wheels we got but we love them, they weren't too expensive relative to how nice they look, but the real winner at this location is the customer service. Jorge helped my girlfriend and I pick a set that would fit her Lexus and look nice. While picking out sets you could tell the associate was taking his time to make personalized recommendations and you could tell that he was invested in making sure we went home with something we love. Can't say enough good about this shop, it's becoming harder and harder to find trustworthy sales associates, but the interaction I had with Jorge means I will definitely return in the future for any wheel or tire related needs. They've been my go to place for a while- but for the quick and easy things like air checks, rotations etc. I'd made an appointment online that same morning, went in for a rotation and planned to be there around an hour or so because of how busy they were. The rep that checked me in looked over the tires and told me they wouldn't be able to because of how little tread I had. He gave me some recommendations for what they had in stock, I picked one and off they went to work. I got text message updates along the way and was out of there in just under an hour. Pretty good, workers were nice. Worker who inspected my car was cool. I wish I did not see one of them speed in the parking lot in my car, then hit the brakes pretty hard because he had to back up and then pull into the parking spot. That was frustrating. These guys do excellent work - it's everything I want when I have to take care of my tires. Since the fires in 2017 I've gotten more flat tires from rebuilding materials being everywhere in the county. Saturday I parked in a spot near Railroad square and heard my tire deflate. I was picking up dinner at 10pm Late and I didn't want to stop, so I raced going the posted speed limit to each gas station filled the tire and to 3 then home for AAA to put the dummy on - no wait, I was inside. The spare tire. Today stopped in Rohnert Park store a bit less busy than SRosa store. An extremely professional young man - must be a Manager or GM, named Dean had me pull in, I stayed in the car while they fixed it and I was on my way in a matter of 20 minutes. Went in to get my new tires mounted and balanced. I guess all they have is 1-1/2oz weights and wonder why the wheels can't balance out. I think only one guy knows what he is doing there and the others just listen and do as he says. Not one of them broke the bead turned the tire and tried to rebalance the tire again. It's like they just wanted me to get out as fast as they could since I bought my tires online and all they had to do was mount and balance. The pic tell the story. Kind of hard to balance a wheel when you start changing the dynamic of the rest of the wheels balance. I've done tires before and know they make larger weights. This is piss poor craftsmanship and if this is what they are teaching as the proper way I'm not going back to an America's tire. read more

My car had a large bolt in the tire. I went in expecting to pay $100-$200 to have the issue taken care of. They were able to remove the bolt and take care of the issue within 40min then they told me it was free when I took out my car! All three of guys at the front desk, that I ran into, were friendly. I had a bolt in my tire and went to American Tire to have them repair. They were fast, efficient and super helpful. They let me know my car was done and there was no charge! Fast forward and I blew out my tire and knew exactly where to go. They let me know they had the tire, gave me the cost and would text me when it was ready. About 15 mins later I get a call they unfortunately they didn't have the run flat they thought they but they put an order in and would be there the next day. Without even asking, they put on a regular tire until the new one arrived to ensure I was safe while we waited for the new tire. Again, above and beyond! Highly recommend and hopefully I don't have any tire issues again but if I do, I know where I'm going. read more

Been coming to AT since 2004 when I went to the SRJC., used to go to Wheel Works; however, they had a high turn over of staff and management. Most of the time the service has been professionial and kind. Ordered SVE rims through LMR Mustang bought Nitto 555G2 through them and made an appointment for the 11/22/23 @ 10 am. When I pulled in it was T Day traverlers w RV Van's and a full parking lot. Waited in line for 20 minutes. Several times the staff Scott mx and his assissiant mx Kevin thank us for waiting and ensured us they would get to us asap. Justin did my intake. SVE rims where still in there boxes and Nittos where not mounted on them. Initally I was a little upset; however, I am older and wiser. Pulling a Karen isn't my style and accomplishes nothing in the long run. I took the time with Justin to go over the sizes of the tires, since front rims are 10" rear 11 " and I want to max out the width on my 2019 GT Mustang. Justin told me the Nittos 555 G2 aren't good in the rain. I already have MCH SS, so I let Justin make recommendations on the size and width. He order 295 / 35 / 20 front and 315 / 35 /20 rear. Made another apptointment for the following tuesday bright in early @ 8 am. Kevin OK the return for the Nitto's and Justin worked out road hazard and balancing package. Yea I spent double the $$$$ on the MCH SS4 rather than the Nittos; but I know the MCH will have better traction in the rain and wear longer. I am one of those people that need to be treated with respect if I believe I have in fact, made the wrong decision in my tire search and application. This is a SHOUT OUT to Kevin, the store manager, who gets kudos for being a good listener. Thankfully America's Tire gives you 30 days to decide if you even like your new tires. My suggestion is, the ordering process of tires, needs to include a list of "wants and needs" from the customer. it would save America's Tire a lot of money if they didn't have to replace tire purchases because of misinformation about the tire capabilities and performance stats. I used the website to purchase 4 new tires for my vehicle. The 1 o'clock hour seem to be a busy choice other than having to wait to be checked in the experience was rather brief. Victor got my car checked in said they've been working with a quick pace and it shouldn't be more than 30-40 minutes. Which meant I had time to get to the pickup line at the school for the kid. They did offer to replace one of my tire pressure sensors which had been giving me a light on my dash for a couple weeks which I agreed to. 4tires and a new sensor and still getting out of there under $750 I feel like I got a decent deal. One star off only because I never saw my vehicle leave the bay except to give back to me. No quick test drive by a tech to ensure balancing and every lug nut was tight. read more

Wow! What a great experience! In 09/2023 I had my 4 tires replaced on my 2008 Prius at the America's Tire location In Millbrae, CA. It was fast and a good experience. On 10/26/2024 my tire pressure indicator was on and it turns out I had a nail in my tire. After some frustration at other tire service locations I called America's Tire in Santa Rosa. They were courteous and helpful from the start. It was around 3:00pm on a Saturday and they made time to see me and assess my tire situation. They found the problem, repaired the tire at no charge and had me on my way in less than half an hour. They were knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and respectful. Such a great experience! In general I've had good experiences with America's Tire, but I wanted to specifically call out Kevin at the Rohnert Park location. I was just over warranty on a staggered set of Michelin Pilots, and given I wasn't aware of the limited warranty for staggered performance rears and had tried to bring in the vehicle earlier, he took time to try to get an exception from Michelin. This tire shop is great. I had them repair a tire flat, which to my surprise was free! This outfit runs circles around my local tire shop who is hard to get in and they often install tires that are 15 months old. Americas tire provides much newer tires (less than 6 months old) and an enormous selection. They're doing all my tires now. read more
