Well this location is by far the worst one I've been to. I've truly been to Americas tire locations all over California and had great experiences...except here. The job will get done by the team but with a lot of supervision and nonsense back and forth. They couldn't locate my spare tire, I have the most standard SUV you can imagine, I had to physically walk to the bay and show them where it is. The WORST thing about this place though is they do not honor your tire certificates, they will always come up with a reason to state they are invalid or don't apply and tell you to buy a new tire. Well, this started on 9/29/2020 I went into the south Mooney Blvd store with a nail in my tire they said no problem they will fix it. Well, a few minutes after starting on it they notified me that they had destroyed my tire with their machine. They did not have a replacement to put on but they would sell me different set of tires for a really good price. This is now 2/7/2026 I found a nail in my tire so I took it in to get it repaired they told me they would not fix it because a few of my tires only have 2-3 thousand's left on my tires. There is a nail in it. So its ok to drive around with a nail in it. What part of STUPID is this. Well, went down to Les Schwab, they removed it for free. Take a guess where I will go to when I need new tires. DON'T waste your time and money at this business. The 40000-thousand-mile warranty, I had 156000 miles on it in 2020 it now has 178000 on it today. So, 22000 miles later there tires are crap. I am moving four hours away. I was in an urgent need for new tires before I made this long drive w my children. I first talk to one of the person whom I forgot his name. He was a very helpful, professional and really informative. I drive a small. He started looking for my tires information and just like Costco, they did not have it. The difference between Costco and America's Tire is that some how, America's Tire wet able to order my four tires and have them ready by tomorrow (Saturday). I was so happy. I want to thanks Joshua, who is the supervisor assistant who I thought he was the store manager. He was so professional, just when I thought he couldn't do more, he worked his magic and I was sold. I was going around looking for good price for all my four tires when Joshua told me the prince of what it was going to be after he was able to have my tires delivered the next day, I made another call to see if I was able to get a better price when he mention something interesting. Joshua mention that if the price is lower, he will give me that same price at America's Tire. I make my call to "Discount Tires & Service Center" . I don't know what they are talking about a "Discount Tire....". They were more expensive than America's Tire by $120 dollars more. Just by that, I made the decision to stay with America's Tire and I was so Glad I went to that place. I usually have nothing but good things to say about this company, and this store in particular. However, I have been sitting in my car waiting for a tire pressure check for 15 minutes without even a nod in my direction. When I finally caught someone's eye, he looked right at me and turned away. When I finally caught his attention he said he would have someone come help me. I am still waiting. The ONLY reason someone ended up helping me is because they needed me to back up my car. I don't even know where to begin on this one. The ONLY good thing that came out of this event was the fact that my new replacement rim came in a day early and that they offer a Veteran Discount. So I thought it was going to be a great experience. Boy WAS I WRONG! So yesterday I received a phone call from someone and as soon as I answered they hung up. I noticed the number was from Visalia. I thought to myself, the only person that would be calling me from Visalia was the tire shop. I called them back and the person who answered said, "Your tires are in"...... I said, " I should have a rim coming in not tires and I don't expect it till Thurs or Fri." He checked and said it was in early. So I headed out from Hanford to Visalia in a great mood that it was in early. So I arrived at the store and walked out with the rep to my car and proceeded to ask him if they can do a safety check on the other front rim and tire to make sure it was safe to drive on and not also damaged from the potholes and road construction. He said ok, I'll have them check it while they have the car. I thought "awesome". Then I told him that I run my tires at 42psi and if they could make sure they were both set at the same PSI. He said "NO PROBLEM" and annotated it on the work order in BIG LETTERS that even Ray Charles could see it. I waited about 20-30min and was told my car was completed. I said "Thanks" and I was in a good mood because it seemed the whole process was going smoothly and streamlined. I drove off and noticed that the tire pressure was set at 34PSI and the other side that I asked to "Safety Check & set to 42PSI" was not completed as requested. I went straight back and asked for them to correct the tire pressure and to give me the Store Managers Card and the guy had an attitude with me as if now I was inconveniencing them. So here I am letting you all know that this company fails in customer care or satisfaction or our safety. If they did this to me, how many other vehicles are rolling thru there not being inspected properly. This was not the first time I had a problem with them not setting the correct tire pressure as requested. I let it go the first time. And now I'm here to make sure you always check their work if YOU DARE go to them for ANYTHING. THE ONLY REASON I went there this time is because they are the only distributor for the wheel I needed replaced and they don't have a Discount Tire in this area. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THAT CIRCUS. I cant even call it a Store by the way I was treated and the unprofessionalism I was subjected to. SO....... BEWARE IF YOU DARE entering that Twilight Zone. This is the second rim that I've had to replace from this company. I have been driving on these types of rims and tires my whole life since 1996 and also had a tire and wheel shop in Kansas City. My whole family has been coming here for tires for years and the last time I was there was Black Friday. One associate try to sell me tires. Like it was such an up sale that I had to say no and leave. I only went in to remove a nail but was quoted for all new tires. Then waited an hour to get the nail removed to only be told it cannot be removed. I went somewhere else and it was done for free.
