We called for a pricing on balance on our tires and they said $20 when we got there they looked at the tires and said $15. So then this other guy shows up and said price would be $50 per tire but if I wanted them now he'd do $45 per tire. Would not recommend them. They kept changing the price and not professional. I found this business a couple years ago while looking for a full set of tires for my SUV. If you own a big vehicle you know tires can be quite expensive. I literally called all the tire shops in town and this was by far the best value for the same tires (Goodyear) that my vehicle came with off the lot. Not only was the price the best but once I got here the customer service was amazing. Every staff I've ever encountered has always been nice and knowledgeable. I have recommended this place many times. This is now my go-to place for tires. Tip: Call ahead of time to ensure they have your tires in stock. If they don't they will order them so they're here when you 12/11/19 (update): Still 5 stars. I recommend this place to anyone. I sent my 19 yr old kid down here from another tire shop after he went there for a "free" tire patch and they wanted him to walk out with a $118 tire...After the guys here checked it out they determined he didn't need a new tire and his current tire was fine. He had woken up to a flat tire earlier in the day. They guys here couldn't find a thing wrong with his current tire and think maybe someone manually let the air out of his tire. I needed an alignment on my Jeep. I told them it pulled right. After I picked it up, Steve said it will still pull right because of a spindle but according to him they did the alignment and no matter what they do to the Jeep it was still going to pull to the right because Jeeps are known for that. Steve was short to the point and offer no other suggestions of how to fix the problem. I don't know how people are saying he is a friendly man, he must of been having a bad day today. Now, I have to take it to another shop so it can really be fixed I guess. read more

Steve is awesome. He is very helpful and knows the business. All of the techs are knowledgeable and honest. They are helpful and don't try to over sell. They are honest. I took my truck in asking about my brakes. They easily could have told me that I needed to replace them, but they did not. Instead they checked around the vehicle and let me know that they were in good condition and I did not need to replace them yet. I have bought tires and had brake service done with them. Took my AWD 04 GM in to have the tires put on and aligned they did that no problem, I just put all new sway bar links, ball joints, etc and ask them to grease them since I was out of grease at home they said "no problem" an to my surprise they pulled one of the oldest tricks in the book by wiping grease from there grease guns onto all my grease zerks nipples and said me with a straight face "it's all done no charge" for the greasing part so I thought they did it of course; one week later after driving on dry sway link ends and ball joints front and rear! they went bad from the dry grinding of metal on metal and started making noise at every crack and bump on the road. Pretty petty thing to do especially when it wasn't even my vehicle it was my girlfriends car such a let down nothing like doing and replacing 1 week old parts twice. read more

How many adjectives can I use to describe my experience? They are fast, friendly,courteous, very reasonably priced, and highly professional. They didn't have my RV tire in stock at that particular store, but they arranged to have one brought down immediately from another store. This is on BLACK FRIDAY, that's right, the Friday after Thanksgiving day. We were there in Visalia visiting family for the holidays and we were hours and hours away from home when we discovered that our rear outside tire had blown. Needless to say I was ecstatic to find any tire store open that could service an RV, and I happened to find the very best one in town. Came here to purchase tires. Okay pricing. Asked for alignment and new tires came with balance. After a few hours I got a call that my car was ready. They said my car did not need alignment as everything was perfect. I looked over what I was charged for and they tried charging me for an alignment that WAS NOT PERFORMED. After asking why I was charged, they took off the icharge. Driving my car after service it felt shaky. Decided to take it to another business to check the balance, balance was off! Our new go to tire shop in Visalia. Friendly and inviting staff that are professional throughout the entire process. They are clean and use those paper floorboard mats when they move your car around. Nice waiting room that has couches and comfortable chairs to sit in while you watch tv and have a cup of complimentary coffee or water. I'm conflicted on my review of Visalia Tire & Wheel. I've been here multiple times to have tires replaced and other miscellaneous jobs and would give a 5-star rating for those transactions... excellent service, friendly staff, and finally a mechanic I felt I could trust. In April I had two tires replaced and when I picked my car up they told me the rear brakes were under 20% capacity and needed to be replaced. I declined their offer to fix them as I normally take my car to TF Tire in Exeter for brake work, plus I needed a bit of time to save some money. When I took my car to TF to get the brakes done, they told me they are over 50% capacity, in excellent shape, and don't need to be replaced. Now, I don't know if Visalia Tire & Wheel straight up lied to me to try to get more money, but seeing as how they were pretty packed that day and obviously have tons of business, I don't see why they would do that. Still, I felt slightly jaded that they gave me bad information. I'll probably still go to them when I need tires replaced as they are one of the cheapest around, but will think twice about service recommendations from them. read more

Don't shop here. Very disappointed they would not work with me. Had bought 4 new tires for my truck with 60,000 mile warranty. Rotated every 5,000 as required and one tire ran bald at 27,000. Took back and was told my pressure was too much by one person, when I told them I always ran at manufacturer requirement (40 psi) they then said I should have run at 35 psi? HUHHHH? It says this no where in the manufactures info. Plus, if I ran at 35 psi my warning light would always be on. When asked if the would warranty they said no. When asked if they could discount a new tire they said no, when told they were telling me a bunch of bullcrap they said no. LOL. Total runaround. I have bought tons of tires here and so have my friends and family. We will never shop here again. Total no service dealer. Don't shop here. Go to COSTCO. You may pay a bit more but they will serve you as the customer. read more

They are a company that will grow a relationship with their customers so you can depend on them. They will match any price that you find lower than theirs. I have been going to them for years for tires, rotations, balancers, and other suspension and tire work. They will always help open Monday through Saturday, and if you call them will have the tires you need when you arrive if they don't already have them. My husband and I take all our 3 cars and a truck here to do our oil change and wheel rotation during the oil change. The service is excellent! During the service they would recommend stuff that needs to be done to your car, for example, new brakes, oil filter, etc... I recommend that you make an appointment before you show up, that way you don't have to wait long. I usually wait 20-40 minutes for a regular service. I also bought 4 new tires from here. Traveling cross country on a 2 month tour of the southwest. I had 2 tires blow out on my 5 th wheel camper. Not wanting to chance another problem I went to Visalia Tire & Wheel. I was able to get 4 new tires for my camper at a very good price. Since I was buying 4 tires they sent a service tech out 30 miles to our campground at no charge. Got tires mounted in 1 hour. This was a big help, saving me the trouble of packing everything up and going into town. I was also able able to get my oil changed at the very best price possiable.
