I came by to do a walk-in for an air pressure checkup early morning around 8:15am. James did an awesome job. He hurried over to greeted us and swiftly escorted us in and out. Great communication and letting us know how many people they have and their wait time. I was told that they have only two people working that early and will try their best to get to me asap. After five to ten minutes, James took my car and quickly checked it out because the other two men were busy with cars. He patch it up, pump some air and brought it back in aprox. 20 to 30 min. People here that I interacted with were friendly, but this was the first Schwab I've ever visited that I couldn't get a tire rotation done. Waited just over 3 hours and had to ask for keys back. Arrived on time, and out of 5 people working, only 1 person was attending to one customer for over 10 mins regarding credit app and some spray paint. Bro. At least tell me how long it'll be until you can assist. Don't waste peoples' time like that and I'm glad I was only 3 mins away. Management - do better. Wow!! I'm so impressed! Les Schwab tires is just like their commercials! I was on my way to my 10 year olds very important doctor's appt in the next major city over (about a 45 minute drive). We were early so we decided to stop off and grab some DutchBros before we hit the road. On our drive there I noticed a wobble and strange sound. We pulled over and sure enough!! Flat tire!! I called my road side assistance (they indicated it would be a 45 minute wait). With no choice but to wait, I was told a Les Schwab was across the street. Me remembering their commercials I called (before they were even open I might add -ops). I was so lucky, Bryan answered the phone. I explained my situation and he quickly came over and aired up my tire. I was able to cancel my roadside, and then drove over to the tire shop. It was about one minute until 8am (their hours of operation start at 8am), when David came out to my car and asked me how he could helped me. I explained what I saw (nail in the tire), and he said no problem , they'd get it fixed up. The best part, no charge!! They are just like their commercials everyone!! Best customer service ever!! We were driving from Seattle down to LBC for our annual family vacay/cruise while en route, we got a flat somewhere near Sacramento. It was in the middle of the night so we kept just making regular stops at gas stations to fill up on air. Mapped out a Les Schwab within route that wouldn't slow us down too much and was scheduled to get to the Hanford location right before they opened. They open at 8am. By the time my husband was in line at 8:02am mind you, apparently there were 7 people in front of us. It was estimated anywhere between 3-5hour wait. We are on a time crunch and cannot wait that long or we will have to just turn around and head back to WA. Welp, my husband starting taking out our spare and while trying to get it swapped out to get to the next tire store south of us, an employee came running out to check out what was going on.. he went to go check on the schedule and was able to squeeze us right in because someone who had an appt did not show up. My overworked, sleep deprived husband was ready to throw in the towel. The past couple hours were taxing while we were unsure how far we could make it till the next gas station to fill up on air prior to the store opening. Chris.. you are a freaking hero! Not only did you squeeze us in, but your excellent customer service immediately diverted a defeated family into a sigh of relief and immense gratitude. Yay!! We can still make it! The cherry on top, I had all 4 of my tires last replaced w/ Les Schwab in the past year and because they were still under warranty, we were saved from having to buy a whole brand new tire at a much discounted rate! It went front $20 for a repair, to finding out there was a nail and a slash. The new tire alone would have been $170+ tax. Because of the warranty and amazing Store policy, that rate came down to just under $60! We've always been loyal customers to Les Schwab but when they say "doing the right thing since 1952" they are not kidding! We are sooooo freaking grateful for this location and employee for saving us and taking off so much unexpected and unnecessary stress off our shoulders!! My husband took our Mazda in for an alignment and two tires, and he was quoted $381.69 including tax. A little more than we were hoping, but I get it, cars are expensive. He had to wait around for about 5 hours for it to be completed, conveniently at closing when he can't dispute the bill because they were closing up, and would have to email him a receipt. A receipt for OVER $535!!! Where did this extra cost come from? We certainly don't know, since the employee would not explain it, just saying, "it will be on your receipt, and you agreed to this". Um, no. We agreed to the quoted services ONLY. The cherry on top? The car now has a check engine light that was not on before it was brought in for a freaking alignment. They should really consider changing their tagline from "Doing the right thing since 1952," because that was certainly not our experience. My job involves daily interaction with service departments all over the Central Valley as we maintain over 200 vehicles, and I have to tell you that this experience is unlike anything I've dealt with from some of their competitors. read more

I am really disappointed with Les Schwab Tire Center. I came in for an simple oil change and they tried to UPSELL me but i caught it. Since I already have a dedicated mechanic who take care of my cars maintenance; I just wanted an oil change. Before i left my car in the shop i noticed that my bill was going to be over $70. When i question them about my bill they were not helpful. I explained to them that my car did not need synthetic Oil and that i did not want no other services----free inspections or any other inspections. At the end i decided to cancel my business with Les Schwab Tire Center (I never will go back). I went a near by oil change where my bill was going to be less than $30 dollars. read more

I had a broken valve stem on my tire and the sensor was broken as well... I took it there the first time it broke and they were able to get it fixed. It happened again on another tire and this time they told me "we may not have it" and they were pretty much telling me that they aren't going to fix it even though I brought it here the first time this issue has occurred. 100% SATISFIED! Justin and the guys took my lifted 4 wheel drive truck that another company did the original lift and tires on (wrong parts installed originally) and fixed it properly. Took my car in for my 8am appointment 6pm and car is still not ready, even though I was told it was ready. They never ever even did the front end alignment even though I was told by the lady they did then Ryan said they didn't get to it he would refund me the money which he didn't but when the mechanic brought the car out give it to me he said he would refund me the money and I said that they already did and after the guy looked in the computer they never did so he did it for me and gave me my refund back for the front end alignment. But I must say the tires and the brake jobs are great ride and Brake smoothly. read more

I took my car to Les Schwab in Hanford for two front new tires because I had a great experience with Selma's Les Schwab. Unfortunately I found that not all Les Schwab are created equally. I went in for just two new tires. Of course they tried to up sell me to buy 4 tires. "Tires on the back are fine but you will need new tires eventually. Eventually, I will need a lot of things but I not gonna get them until need them. After "evaluating" my car they said I had play in my tire due to the bad tire rods. So they charged me to replace the tire rods. I felt no play in my tires but I trusted their judgement. After a few hours they called and said my car was ready. Then after 1 min they called back and said they had misdiagnosed the problem and now I would need new ball joint. Let me remind you I just came in for new tires. So at this point, I feeling Hanford's Les Schwab was just padding my bill. A normal person would assume if you misdiagnosed the problem, the company would take responsibility for it. Not Hanford's Les, so they had plan to charge me for their mistake and replacing the ball joint. At this point I was pretty upset and felt Hanford's Les Schwab were dishonest and crooks. So I went to the shop to discuss what was going on. They initial gentleman that was helping, was unreasonable, obnoxious, and rude at best which just fuel the situation. So I asked to take to the manager. It took the manager at least 25 mins to come and talk to me. At this point, I am beyond annoyed with the service I have received. Finally after waiting the manager came to talk to me and my friend. After 15-20 mins of talking the manager agreed to remove labor for the tire rods and discount it. At this point, I had waste my whole weekend dealing with Hanford's Les Schwab. Plus I still had to wait for the ball joint to put on. Incredibly they managed to it done with in 20 mins. After leaving Hanford's Les Schwab, my car started making this awful noise. I had food in the car from shopping and I had to cool off before going back to deal with Hanford's Les Schwab. So I dropped the food off then called Les Schwab to talk to the manager again and he hung up on me. I drove to Hanford Les Schwab and two mechanics meet out in the parking lot to ask me what was wrong. I told them they took the car in. They "fixed" it in 5 mins but two days later it started making the same noise when I turn right. So I took finally took it to Selma's Les Schwab. Selma's Les Schwab fix the problem told me and showed problem. Addition they removed screws that were found in my older tires. Additionally, Selma's Les Schwab did not charge me for the repairs. Save your time and money and don't go to Hanford's Les Schwab instead go to Selma's much better service. read more

Honesty goes a long way. Been a long time customer of Americas Tire as they have treated us very good. Came to Les Schwab as we moved and its not very convenient for us to get to Americas Tire. I would support a mom and pops tire shop but we travel and it's nice to have service available in many locations. Spoke with Ryan on the phone for an estimate and decided to come in to buy the tires. Let him know that he'll have a lifetime customer if he treats me right. Asked him to remount the spare (aftermarket) wheel under the bed and he sated he would. Came in when the tires were done but they still had to put the truck on the alignment rack. I saw the spare in the bed and asked him if he was going to put it back under the bed. Ryan said his techs tried but it wouldn't fit. When i got home i pulled the spare wheel out of the bed and mounted it with no problem under the bed of the truck where it belongs. I then called Ryan to tell him that i mounted it with no problem at all and there was plenty of room. His response was that maybe his techs misaligned it and he'll tell them to not get all "willy nilly" next time. My thoughts are that they never tried at all. How can you trust his techs to properly mount and balance tires???? How can i trust his word???? read more

Really impressed with Les Schwab in Hanford. Took my mom's car in after being told by American Tire Depot that her car needed new struts and an alignment. Which I thought was kind of odd for a 2012 Honda. Even the Honda dealer said the same thing when I called them. But hey, these are the experts I thought, so I called around to find a better deal and Les Schwab beat their pricing by a mile. Better still after inspecting the vehicle, they determined that the struts and the alignment were fine and that the car needed no work at all. They did a full inspection including the brakes and the tires. Cost: $0 In addition their honesty, this place is very nice. The mechanics greet you in your car in the parking lot before you can even get out of your car. Something I'm not used to at all. Very nice touch. The waiting room is the nicest waiting room I've ever seen in a tire shop. Large, clean and plush with a very large HD flatscreen and free refreshments. These guys have earned a new loyal customer. I like their honesty, professionalism, and top notch customer service. You can bet I'll be back. read more

I have been to Les Schwab auto repair shop in Hanford several times. I thought I was getting good service, what I mean to say is that the work was done quickly- before COVID. When I do get work done its always nice to have a warranty. Well the other day I had to pull out the warranty card. My family and I came back from camping - great time by the way. I have a 4wd anyway camping ,forest fire fresh air , unpaved dirt roads... get the picture. Well there was one too many pot holes for the struts. These are the aforementioned warranted equipment I had previously alluded to. So now I have this clunking I can't seem to pick it out.I do not believe that I abuse my truck, the truck is my work truck,I work for myself this truck is not just for fun . This time of the year is also hunting season and we try to go here in California but also in Idaho. I should probably get to the point, our trip to Idaho follows our camping / hunting trip in California. I need to address this "clunking issue" so I take it to Les Schwab. I explain to the tech the issue. The tech took my truck for test drive so he could hear clunking that I hear or feel a clank that I feel going over bumps. He returns says he does not hear or feel what I explained to be the issue . So he tells me he will put it on the lift and do a visual, maybe try to physically check things. Social distancing is not enforced HAHA between trucks and tech (sorry folks). Well, tech came back to me and said he could see nothing wrong. Tech says "Toyota overbuilds suspensions, besides 80K plus miles so your going to hear some noise". No charge-OK. But I"m bugged now... REALLY??? I'm thinking to myself, "I hear this noise, I feel this out of place new clunk when going over bumps and I do have to admit it does not do it all the time so I can understand the techs inability recreate what I hear and what I feel." This happens to the best of mechanics , doctors, electricians...... So I took it to another shop. They found a broken strut and my wallet of course. So, after soul searching and loss of sleep I begin to think "for now, just FIX IT". The other shop says "not a problem, we got the parts. We"ll handle it for you. But we replace both struts and other condiments in the front end... cause that's how we roll. It will be $1,800. $1,800!!! "Where's my wallet?" No literally!? So here we are folks, bottom of the ninth, we are in the red zone 4th and goal!, this is just not right, I think to myself " self did you not have the original struts replaced at Les Schwab just about a year ago? there was a warranty, right?. So I returned Les Schwab and explained what the other shop found, the tech checked it and verified it , the tech said" yes the strut is broke, they looked on the computer verified that it is under warranty, that it will be replaced for FREE!. Was it a gamble to return to Les Schwab? They say they will honor the warranty . So now there are two problems about this situation, trying not to make mountains out molehills but (1) will it be fixed in time before our trip to Idaho ,which is literally in 1week , they said parts will be at the shop 48 hours before we are to leave for our trip- will they?, will the strut be installed in that time BEFORE we are to travel? I HOPE SO!! (2) should I be reimbursed for the diagnostic fees I had to pay at the other shop that found the broken strut AFTER I had taken it to Les Schwab the day before and was told that they could not hear or see anything wrong? I had to let my thoughts be known. read more

Going to Auto repair places are frustrating and not much fun for me , but was really blown away here at Les Schwab in Hanford . the manager was really helpful and didn't make me wonder if I was bring hoodwinked bcz I'm a woman . Everything was explained - I wasn't hustled either :) I had new tires put on quickly at a good price . All fluids, shocks etc were chked . Good Coffee and great popcorn in comfortable bright Air conditioned clean lobby .. even phone chargers !!! . I'm not going to mind going again ! read more

Nice people and nice atmosphere. It's refreshing not having to stare at a dirty old wall while you're waiting for your car. They have a large tv with cable channels, popcorn, coffee, crayons for the kiddos and plenty of chairs and tables to sit at while you wait. I went to another shop at first to get shocks replaced. The other place's price was so surprising I decided to call around first before agreeing to anything. Les Schwab beat their price by half because they realized I didn't need the whole ensemble replaced. I would trust Les Schwab not to try and sell me things I don't need based off of this experience. I'll need new tires sometime soonish in the future and definitely plan on coming to this place again. read more

I have free alignments for life at American tire depot but I decided to come and pay here because at American tires depot every time I go they want to make me replace parts , the last estimate I got at American tire depot was 900$ dollars for parts I sopostly need it to get a alignment. I came to Les Schwab tire center and they aligned my truck no parts need it I only payed 79.99 for the alignment. I went in to get an oil change and brakes done. I asked how long it would be to get this done considering I was driving from out of town I wanted an estimate. The girl at the front desk was not friendly and told me it would be an hour before they could get to my car and determine if they can do my brakes. I decided to wait and the girl told me to swipe my card and I received a print out of my charges, which came out to $115 JUST for the oil change. They pulled my car in right away so I didn't have time to question about the charge. About 5 minutes later a guy walks about and tells me they cannot do my brakes because I needed new tires and it was a liability issue. They gave me estimates on tires (which I did not want to purchase). I told them I did not want them and asked about the oil change that I was being charged for. The girl had charged me for a full service oil change, when I only wanted a basic oil change. I decided I didn't want to get my car serviced there and they said they would pull my car out. I went to a local oil changing place right after and as soon as we opened the hood of the car, there was oil everywhere. It turns out they did not screw my oil cap back on so the oil splattered all over my engine. They didn't want to do my brakes because of "liability" but did not bother to screw my oil cap back on. read more
