I left this office feeling frustrated, confused, and frankly, very disappointed. I came in for a…read moredental procedure, only to have Dr. Lee tell me that the treatment will most likely not be effective and that I would likely need a crown instead. I asked why we weren't just proceeding with the crown if that was the more reliable option, but rather than clearly addressing my concern, the dentist kept repeating himself without actually answering my question. As I attempted to clarify my concerns, namely, that I didn't want to pay for two procedures if a crown was ultimately necessary, I felt dismissed. I even said it felt like I was being gaslit because my questions were not being answered directly. Only then did he explain that he was confident in the treatment plan and had only been presenting a "what if" scenario. I appreciated the clarification and told him I understood, and he apologized for the earlier confusion. He then numbed my mouth with a lidocaine injection and left the room. A few minutes later, the office manager came in to tell me the dentist would not be performing the treatment due to what they considered "hostile language." I was completely shocked. I had asked valid questions about my care and tried to understand my options, this should never be labeled as hostile behavior. What's even more upsetting is that they numbed me before informing me they wouldn't continue with treatment. That felt both unprofessional and unnecessary. I will not be returning to this office. Patients have every right to ask questions and seek clarity about their treatment plans. If a provider cannot handle that, it may be time to re-evaluate their approach to patient care.

I was so scared because I did not want to go to a place where I was and praying I can make it back home to get this locked and treated immediately. I was also worried about how soon I can get an appointment. I called Sunday night and they booked me for a 9AM the next day! Dr, Yafim and staff were gentle, empathetic and made me feel like it was all going to be ok even Though I was emotionally devastated. They guided me through every action and he even waived the emergency visit fee. Which was greatly appreciated because I don't have dental insurance. They handled me with care and he does have soft hands when administering the injection to numb my then Big head to endure the 2 extractions I needed. Welp now they are going to be my dental family because we are in this new journey now of getting me right with a good smile!!!! He is a no nonsense dentist pulling no punches and I loved that! Thank you to all there. Oh yeah and they are just 5 minutes from my house perfect for this dental journey we will walk together. I left feeling hopeful and of course in less pain. See ya soon!

Very knowledgable about dental health, and utilizes newer technologies to inform her patients about…read moretheir procedures and responsibility in maintaining a healthy smile. I initially tried their practice because they're in the neighborhood and offered plans for people without insurance. Comfortable, personable, friendly, fast, and quality work. I was a fan. I removed a star because customer service has slipped dramatically. Now the office doesn't return calls or respond to emails in a reasonable time frame. I've worked for years in a small business, and I prefer small, family-style practices/businesses. Accordingly, I tend to give extra understanding that small businesses are trying to manage their operations and their actual services. I called the office in April to schedule a cleaning (admittedly, I was way overdue since my previous appointment there). I left a second voicemail a week later. In mid-May, I emailed the office to ask for a return call to schedule an appointment, or, to arrange transfer of my patient records, if the practice had closed. Finally I made an appointment elsewhere, seeing that dentist in July. Now I'm at a new job, and trying to arrange my dental coverage. I called Dr. Taddeo's office this morning to try asking which plans are accepted, and received a voicemail. I didn't bother leaving a message because, technically, I'm still awaiting a response to April's voicemail, and it's now the end of August. Dr. Taddeo's approach and work is the only reason I'm trying to remain a patient. If the staff would simply reach out and return my calls or email, I'd still make her my primary dentist. I hope they'll see this review and give me an opportunity to add that star back. TL; DR: Great once you're in the office. Good luck hearing from them until then.

Timeline of Events as follow: Nov. 2023 - I had a consultation was provided with a quote, during consultation I asked all questions and advised on my needs in order to make a decision as whether or not to do business with them. Dec. 2023 - I go into office for fitting at which time receptionist produces bill that is $150.00 in excess of what I was quoted. I bring this fact to her attention. She goes to office manger who advises that as a courtesy they will write off the $150.00. In my mind I'm thinking this is not a courtesy and where did this extra $150.00 come from? Dec. 2023 - I pick up product and it's incorrect color, Aspen agrees to remake it. Dec. 2023 - I pick up remake 7 days after. Jan. 2024 - Less than a month later the product breaks. Aspen advised they will remake. Upon picking up the remake I advise them that there are minor modifications I need which I was told can be done by the in house tech. The receptionist is adamant that it must be done by the doctor and gives me an appointment with the doctor. Jan. 2024 - Day of the appointment I am notified by Aspen that they need to cancel the appointment due to the doctor not being in due to sickness. I advised the receptionist that I don't need to see the doctor I need to see the tech again receptionist is adamant that appointment is needed with the doctor. Jan. 2024. - A few days later I go in for scheduled appointment only to be advised that the tech is not in and the doctor cannot handle. So I'm again given another appointment. Jan. 2024 - I finally have the appointment with the tech whom when making the requested modifications damaged another section which now resulted in them having to do another remake. Well as of today I went in for appointment to pick up remake. I requested two modifications which again I was advised the in house tech can do. I'm sitting in the chair I overhear the Dental Assistant conversing with tech about the modifications that I was requesting. The technician becomes unhinged screaming at the top of his lungs that he is not doing another remake (mind you I didn't request a remake I requested a modification) and how he is done with this. From there the Office Manager comes in telling me that the Doctor will be in. I first advised the Doctor of my dissatisfaction with the tactless unprofessional behavior of his technician and further advised that the technician owed me an apology. The Doctor continuously tried to justify the behavior of the technician. Further along in conversation I am giving the Doctor back his words with respect to modifications that he told me could be done in house. The Doctor becomes extremely annoyed advising me that he does not like the fact that I am continually saying "You told me", I'm thinking to myself this is weird and everyone in this office is weird. Trying to remain calm and refrain from using trigger words, I communicate to the doctor the very minimal modifications I needed done, the Doctor says that he can do them. I then question if he the Doctor could do them what was the issue with the tech doing them? The Doctor responded perhaps he doesn't know how. Ultimately I expressed my dissatisfaction with the practice a whole as well as the product received. I was offered a refund which would have required me to leave the product which wasn't a doable option. I did express to the Doctor that I would be filing a complaint with the PA Attorney General's Office. At this point the Doctor became unhinged, and in doing so the behavior of the tech was understood as behavior start with the head. Unhinged Boss produces an unhinged worker. The proper way this should have been handled would have been for the Doctor to apologize for the horrendous experience from inception to present , and to offer a full refund without requiring me to leave the product.
