Amerige Heights Town Center - So excited for this new location - Shopping Centers Near Me - Fullerton, California

This shopping center has almost everything. I've seen places come and go and like Old Navy, Aki Home, Daphne's, Togo's and Baskin-Robbins. But I'll state the obvious, it's now a Korean dominated shopping center with Koreans everywhere from Target to Gold's Gym. I wish the Taco Bell here took the Taco Bell app so I can order ahead. But the KFC takes the app. Pros Lots of places to eat Lots of places to get dessert after There are four Starbucks Bank of America ATMs near Panda Express Cons Lots of theft - lost my wife's bike here when I locked it in front of Gold's Gym Can get dirty because student and adults don't respect the property McDonald's here is always busy especially after school hours read more

I have turned away from this shopping center several times as of late to avoid the petitioners and the solicitors that Target can't seem to keep away. Every single time I shop there lately there's always someone wanting me to sign something, donate money, or today, creepily, someone with a badge was standing under a tree on his phone and said to me and a stranger "hey you both look nice would you mind coming over here?" I pretended I didn't hear him. I hate that I have to go to another city to shop at target in a different parking lot where I feel safer and not hassled. read more

Whoever built this shopping center did not really care if their own tenants had to compete with each other. There used to be two Japanese restaurants, two gelato stores, two sandwich shops, three Starbucks, two nail and spa place, all within walking distance. As long as they have tenants, the mall does not care if there's direct competition literally a thousand feet from each other. Surprisingly, the stronger of the two businesses survived, making the other one having to shut down. The mall does not care if intimidating Korean teenagers sit in the parking lot smoking and drinking, and drive erratically in the parking lot. They also do not care that the same teenagers sit by the Barnes & Noble bookstore, smoking and spitting on the sidewalk, despite the sign that says "no Spitting". The one proactive thing they did do was put no parking signs directed at gold gym members in front of the tenants located next door to go to gym. There's no enforcement, however, so putting a few signs didn't really help. There's a lot of wasted space in the parking lot, and the configuration of the parking lot was made, as one yelpers said, by the makers of "the District" in Tustin. The only reason I shop at this mall is I literally live down the street. I preferred to shop at other locations that don't try to create competition amongst their own tenants. read more

What can I say about my master-planned hood? I get a little excited when I see urban planners occasionally taking tours because I realize, in the grand scheme of things, this 'hood probably sets the bar pretty high. After all, I understand that what was here before probably wasn't quite as pleasant. Pros and Cons: I love the fact that the shopping center is just a three minute walk down the bridge and I love all of the parks. What don't I love? Hoodlums running amok vandalizing and littering everywhere. I'm also not amused by the occasional street racing that takes place in the parking lot behind the shopping center. Lastly, it would be nice if the landscaping were kept up a little better, both by the HOA and the homeowners themselves. Show some pride in the AH, babyyy! read more

Amerige Heights Town Center - Shopping Centers Near Me - Fullerton, California

I live just a few minutes from this plaza and attended school for a long time in this area. I don't feel like this plaza is the safest but it's a place where you can find what you need. The layout of the parking and the store does seem kind of careless in my opinion. I'm not really a big fan of the style of streets and the way I have to navigate some of the parking lots but I've always liked having this area here for quick shopping. The Target and Barnes & Noble are both decent places in my opinion. Also always convenient having a gym nearby. read more

Id say that this place was designed by someone either a bit crazy or on crack half the time... parts of it are put together very well and parts have me sitting here shaking my head in disbelief and wonderment. Just curious was this the same designed by the same brianiacs that designed "the District" in Tustin? Well the stores are very well proportioned. Part of the layout makes total sense. However part of this place makes absolutely no sense at all. PRO TIP: Dont come here if its a busy shopping day. (counterpoint: I doubt that they have many very busy days here to begin with haha) Their are three main parallel roads. However 2 of them are separated by a median and are otherwise identically placed. SERIOUSLY WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? Did you just have extra room and nothing to use it for? how about another parking space or 3... *SMH* Ok there are also limits access points from the main drag (Malvern) to even access this place. that makes it rough I would think for the fast food, sit down restaurants, and big box stores here. Seriously I just do not understand the set up at all. There are 4 Starbucks in this Center! YES 4! The original main location at the front entrance by Jamba Juice, another one in Albertsons, another inside Target & one more in Barnes n Nobles! That's a shitload of coffee! Dont you all think so? I'm not sure what to make of it being that Amerige Heights Town Center isn't that big. This is a great center with a huge Albertsons, Target, etc. A variety of yummy places too eat including Islands, Souplantations, several other small sit down places that serve chinese, pizza, sandwiches. There is also fast food such as McDonalds, KFC, etc. There is also Jamba Juice, a yogurt place, etc. I cant remember all the names because I haven't ate at all of them. YET! lol There's Wells Fargo, UPS, Haircutters, Bath & Body Works, Gas Station, Golds Gym, GNC. The list goes on. This center is very clean with lots of parking. They seem to keep it fresh & alive with new stores. I prefer to shop at this center over others. ITS A ONE-STOP SHOP! GOTTA LOVE THAT! read more

OK, yeah, I know, it's a little weird to review a mall. But it was really cool. So I was doing some shopping recently and looking for a convenient location for Harry and David. I saw from their website that they have a location in Fullerton, and I needed to be in Fullerton that day to go to the Disney Character Warehouse Outlet Store anyway. I looked up the location, and it wasn't too far from the Character Warehouse, so that would be pretty convenient. The Harry and David I found is located in the Amerige Heights Town Center. No, I've never heard of Amerige Heights, and I don't know if that's actually the name of a district or something, since the city is still Fullerton. It's on Malvern Avenue, just north of Chapman, a few blocks west of Euclid. And it's a humongous outdoor mall - relatively new from how nice and clean it looked. There is a stretch of stores in one particular row, anchored by a gigantic Target. There's a really big Barnes & Noble in the middle of the parking area, where there are also other adjacent businesses. Then on the other side, there's a little side street with several more businesses and another parking area and then an Islands restaurant. I went to that mall for Barnes & Noble (to get a gift card) and to Harry and David, which I don't go into very often, but it's a seriously dangerous store. This one wasn't even that big! I'd gone looking for a gift box of assorted nuts, which I found, so I picked up several of those as gifts. I then discovered Moose Munch, which is a kind of upscale Cracker Jack / Fiddle Faddle / Poppycock. And they had different flavors. I got a bag each of original milk, caramel with cashews and almonds, and s'mores. So far, I've tried the s'mores, and they are *really* good. And of course, I had to at least go into the Target to look around. They have a lot of other stores that I normally like to shop at as well - you can see a listing of the stores on the website. There are also a number of places to eat, so you can take a break for lunch or a snack in the middle of your shopping. The only downside I can see is that because it is a big mall, and some of the shops are fairly spread out, it's not really convenient to just park in one place and shop if the stores you want aren't all in one place. So, you would either have to schlep your purchases around and do quite a bit of walking or you'd have to move your car and re-park each time you wanted to go to a different store that wasn't exactly nearby. That being said though, I'm glad I found this place - I'm definitely keeping it in mind if I'm in the area and need something they have there. read more

This Starbucks is great! 1) It is conveniently located. 2) It is easy 'on/off' Malvern Ave. 3) It is surrounded by many other wonderful places to visit and benefit from as well. (stores, sites, shops, restaurants..) I have been by here a number of times. I have done 'mobile orders'. They have always gotten them right!! They were quick! I walked in and out within 1/2 minutes. Things were hot when they should have been hot and cold when they should have been cold. GOOD JOB!! : ) read more

I have lived by this place for years, it used to be good. Whoever runs this location now is ruining it. Lines are always a mile long, the last 2 times I've been my order never came up and I had to ask for it. Then had to order it again, THEN my order was wrong. Great little place. I live close by so of course visit frequently. Clean, great selection of shops and places to eat, have coffee and of course Barnes & Nobles which is awesome. Korean, Mexican, Sandwiches, Sushi, pizza, Panda Experss, Starbucks, Target, even a B of A ATM machine. The only downside is there are a lot of kids that hang out and loiter here sometimes and it bugs. The good kids who study and stuff are Ok its the more roudy bunch that I can't realy stand. read more

Amerige Heights is really an convenient shopping plaza... but not a great or safe place to go. Don't get me wrong, I loved and lived in Amerige Heights and grew up here when the shopping mall was just opening up. But since I moved, the place has gone down the drain. The old security guard that does his routines here is hardly enforcing the place (I don't blame him, he's by himself and it's a really big complex), which makes it easier for this place to become incredibly dangerous at night. Almost every afternoon and night, there are always large numbers of, what looks like, gang members from the local high school nearby, hanging behind the Barnes and Nobles and in front of the Wells Fargo bank; I've seen these kids issue death threats to some random stranger and try to get into a fight all the time. Sometimes they aren't gang members, just large group of kids that cause alot of trouble, but regardless, they're the blight that damages the mall's once silvery reputation as well as earning this one star report. In fact, when I did live here, the police were (and are more than usual) involved due to some problems these gangs/kids were creating and that really damaged the safety level of this mall. At 4 in the morning sometimes, there are always drag races that really drive the residents crazy as well. If you can go during the day or stay in a store at night, it'll be safer. If not, then you're likely to run into some problems with these hooligans. Not to mention, it is incredibly filthy; there are rats roaming about in the parking lot under cars and people really love to turn this once beautiful mall into a spitting convention. On the positive note? It's stocked with your basic needs; fast food restaurants and sit downs, cafes, a bookstore, a grocery store, and etc. Bottom line, it is the most convenient shopping mall to meet your needs, but not the safest or cleanest. I wouldn't advise going here at night, because of the problems, but if you must, tread carefully. read more

I live nearby and it has all the necessities. However... The smoking and spitting teenagers make it disgusting!! If you don't like how smoking tastes and you have to spit, don't smoke stupid! There are "no spitting" signs with the local ordinance on them. Totally unenforced. I even told a police officer about it. He did not care one bit and was very condescending. They can sit there and write tickets all day for underage smoking and violation of the no spitting ordinance. The store owners should make a big deal about this. I don't like taking my kids there because it's so disgusting. Very depressing that no one seems to care. It's a shame because it could be a nice place. They have to be losing a lot if business because if these wanna be hoods. Avoid the place if are able to. read more

Went here for the Soup Plantation for lunch and happened upon this center. Amerige Heights is a nice little shopping area with a fountain in the middle and a town square kind of feel. It is within residential communities but is a little too spread out to be totally walk able. There is Ross, Old Navy, Souplantation, Daphne's, Starbuck's, Game Stop and more. If you are doing heavy shopping you may have to drive store to big store in order not to be weighed down but if you are just strolling or going to eat it is fun to walk around. It had a lot of people out and about. There were lots of teens hanging out which was the only downside. Enjoyable if you happen upon it or go here during the day for a meal or shopping. read more
