To pick the right solar system (panels and inverters) I did a huge research and talked with multiple sales /technical agents. No body was as knowledgeable, patient, and genuine as Guy. Before I made the switch to solar energy, I shopped around for quite a while and even made a spreadsheet comparing options from all the companies (price / watt, warranties, efficiency, etc.) To my surprise, AmeriGreen Solar offered the best equipment (was offered Panasonic, Hyundai, or LG) at the best price and they offer the best warranties. The salesman, Steve, has been in the industry for over a decade and was able to educate me and answer all of the questions that I had. The equipment I chose was the Panasonic 325 watt panels with SolarEdge inverter and even though it cost a bit more, it's a superior product and totally worth every penny. We recently decided to invest in our home and add solar panels this year. We're first time home buyers and didn't really know where to even begin. To say the least, it felt so overwhelming that we held off on doing it for over a year... We started with Yelp and was able to quickly come up with a short list of companies that we wanted to work with. When we met with Guy Gabay from Amerigreen, we knew we found the company we wanted hire for the job. Guy is a professional. He showed up to our house on time. His crew was so respectful of our time and was very understanding that we're all working from home. For years I've been going back and forth whether should I have solar in my house, how financially will impact my budget as well as cost solar panels and it's installation. Just finished an installation with AmeriGreen. The company, and in particular Guy and Rose, were great with the overall management and diligent with follow-up and communication. My only advice to future customers is to be aware of how long the process takes with the city. We signed our contract back in October of 2020, the installation didn't start until March and wasn't finalized with LADWP until May because of permitting. Would hope that improves post-COVID. That said, now that it's installed I think it will be well worth the investment and I'm glad we did it as we're able to monitor and assess our energy consumption and solar output. read more

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with AmeriGreen Solar to install my home solar panel system. The install was lightning fast! After hearing so many horror stories of multi-month delays from other solar providers, I was totally blown away as to how fast the install was with AmeriGreen. Amerigreen installed the solar panels on my roof on a Wednesday (one day), county inspection was completed on Friday and SCE granted me permission to operate and switched me on to NetMetering by the next Wednesday. Only 1 week from install to SCE operation!!! One of my neighbors referred me to Guy at Amerigreen Solar. I had previously talked to 5 other companies. After my introductory meeting with Guy, I was very impressed with his industry knowledge, professionalism and no-pressure attitude. He was very easy to talk to and patiently addressed any questions and concerns that I had. In combination with Amerigreen's competitive pricing, I made the decision to sign a design contract with Amerigreen. I was very impressed with the site inspector that was sent out. He was very meticulous and diligent in his inspection. After the inspection, the final solar system size and design were promptly completed and submitted to the county for approval. Once approved and the county granted a permit, the system installation started within a couple of days. The installers did a great job. There were very courteous and diligently cleaned up the work site after they are done. All along the way, Rose, the project manager, did an excellent job of communicating status, from beginning to end. The meeting with them felt different than the meeting with the other companies I met with. You can tell that they actually care about my needs more than simply profit. Instead of simply selling me the most amount of panels, Steve showed me a few simple and inexpensive methods to reduce my electrical usage and sized my solar system based on my reduced usage. I did my homework and shopped around. I met with several companies, and spoke to a few more. I met with Guy from Amerigreen, and then I met with a different company. I came back to Guy with some questions, the guy from the other company had recommended a system with a string inverter, and Guy had recommended one with microinverters. Guy immediately sent me independent research and articles that backed up his suggestion, and I went with Amerigreen. They were able to install a commercial panels on only half of the roof of my detached garage, and give me a system that will produce almost 3,000kwh more than I've been consuming. So I should never have any electricity bills again, and once I get an electric car, I'll never need to pay for gas either. Very happy so far. I also needed to replace the roof on my detached garage, and Guy recommended that we replace the asphalt tile, with Spanish tile to match my house. It looks great, and you can't see my solar panels at all from my backyard which is what I wanted. read more
