When I called and explained the issue and where I was located he said I doubt it's wildlife cause you aren't near any tall trees or power poles that would enable access. Well huh, someone actually knowledgeable. He came out and inspected from top to bottom and found evidence of mice. Took pics to show me. He came up with a plan of attack and over the last couple of months he caught a couple and eradicated the others. Now I hear nothing and he was reasonably priced. Unless Mr. Harris plans on giving me a refund for the maintenance plan, I have nothing to say to him. After the fact he says he "ALWAYS strives for excellence"...two words - bovine defecation. He was adamant about not even inspecting the space. If you have to force someone to do their job, where's the EXCELLENCE? I wasn't going to argue with him which is where the convo was going. First Gen found evidence right on the ledge of the attic door so if Harris had come out and looked he wouldn't have needed to even go up in the attic.

I'm a city girl and I am just not used to this... ...And I wasn't about to get used to this either, so I hopped on Yelp to gather some quotes for some much needed pest control services. Chris from First Gen was one of the first to respond, and he was by far the most professional. He was able to squeeze me in for a next day consultation and he was both incredibly personable and wonderfully professional the whole time. During our appointment, I didn't feel like I was being sold on anything. Instead of trying to pressure me into one solution or another, he took the time to ask informed questions and get a better understanding of my needs and concerns, before making any recommendations. I walked him through the areas of my property where I was seeing the most activity and he was able to take my vague descriptions to help me identify exactly what I was seeing (because I swear some of these bugs I've never seen before in my life. There must be some new ones out here!). He then developed a customized treatment plan for how to address these particular pests, and keep them away so that I can enjoy my patio, my yard, and ultimately my property with a greater degree of comfort and ease. We scheduled my first appointment for the day after our consultation. He was very mindful and respectful of my property, as well as mindful not to disrupt my workday (since I work from home) as he perform the treatments. The cost of the services was more than fair, especially given how thorough he was with the treatments... and how please I am with the results. Chris was able to answer all of my questions thoroughly, as well as explain every product he used (He even had eco-friendly pest control products!), what it was used for, and what I could expect in the coming days and weeks. At the end of the appointment, I felt like I had a good understanding of what services were performed, which products were intended to treat which problem, and what to expect from future appointments. So far, things have been just as Chris described. I've seen exponentially less creepy crawlies (most of the ones I have seen have been dead, allowing me to sweep them into the grass) and the mosquito activity has plummeted dramatically. I feel much more comfortable not only being able to go outside again, but also to have friends and family over to hang out in the yard without having to worry about us being attacked by the worst that nature has to offer. Unacceptable Customer Service with Miche Pest Control- Virgina…read more I had been a loyal customer of Miche Pest Control for several years, but my experience ending service has been extremely disappointing. I requested cancellation of my service effective September 3rd, and they confirmed it. However, they still charged me for that time period. When I asked for a refund, they refused--even though I was no longer receiving services. This shows that Miche Pest Control values profits over people. Their unwillingness to issue a fair refund after years of business demonstrates poor ethics and disregard for customer loyalty. On top of that, their service quality had already been subpar, which was one of the main reasons I cancelled. I strongly recommend that others avoid this company and instead choose a more reputable provider. You can also check the Better Business Bureau, where you'll find additional complaints from past customers who experienced similar issues My response- that call mentions my renewal is 9/27. Hence the follow up actions. Bottom line that fee includes sept and i am not receiving that due to the cancellation. Its unethical to take someones money and not deliver service. It should be at minimum prorated.
