Unacceptable Customer Service with Miche Pest Control- Virgina I had been a loyal customer of Miche Pest Control for several years, but my experience ending service has been extremely disappointing. I requested cancellation of my service effective September 3rd, and they confirmed it. However, they still charged me for that time period. When I asked for a refund, they refused--even though I was no longer receiving services. This shows that Miche Pest Control values profits over people. Their unwillingness to issue a fair refund after years of business demonstrates poor ethics and disregard for customer loyalty. On top of that, their service quality had already been subpar, which was one of the main reasons I cancelled. I strongly recommend that others avoid this company and instead choose a more reputable provider. You can also check the Better Business Bureau, where you'll find additional complaints from past customers who experienced similar issues My response- that call mentions my renewal is 9/27. Hence the follow up actions. Bottom line that fee includes sept and i am not receiving that due to the cancellation. Its unethical to take someones money and not deliver service. While ALL of the techs we've had have been incredible, the customer service side is AWFUL. Getting ahold of anyone if it's not about money due is non existent. They'll blow up your phone when you need to pay a bill, but attempt to talk to ANYONE about ANYTHING- impossible. We missed two months of bills because we were in the midst of some issues which I communicated to them. In late December I reached out several times to attempt to speak with them about the bills for payment and service as our portal was not working. They never answered any calls and then blew up my text messages for payment where they argued with me the entire time. We ended up paying for THREE Months of service without any fucking services being done. Already have emailed three times, called and left voicemails and attempted to text them to figure out what's going. Will came to do our initial inspection and estimate--he was very helpful in explaining what he was looking for to see the scope of the problem and in teaching me about how the pests and the pest treatments work. I learned a lot from him and really appreciate the time and attention he gave to our house and in explaining his recommendations! The communciation from the office about setting up the estimate, setting up treatment dates and contracts, and in following up was remarkable, too -- fast, clear, and friendly while also efficient. I met just one of the techs who did our first treatment, but he was also friendly and helpful. The prices seem comparable to other firms. And so far, the ants are gone! cons: a very half-assed job on my very expensive mice sealing process. i had to go around the house - i am still working on it- and seal the places they should have done. outside they missed very noticeable holes (they promised to search up to the roofline but i think they never got the big ladder out so they just squinted from the ground and lied about 3 colossal holes up there.) inside did a very poor job sealing the furnace room and missed random places when their tubes ran out even though i pointed them out . i was there- home from work- all day when they were sealing and I was pointing out missed places , some of which were big big holes that they had missed of course, there was no change in mouse populationi have lots of photos of me sealing my house after they supposedly sealed it pros: nice guys came out. it was easy to set up . they certainly ran my credit card as soon as they had proof that i had been served read more

I was looking for a new pest control company to do termite prevention and detection. I contacted this business because it had good reviews here on Yelp. I regret choosing this company. They presented me with a 30 month contract. And they play a little game to prevent you from cancelling. They say they give you a $600 discount, and you can cancel early, but if you do, then you forfeit the discount and have to pay $600. So you're basically stuck in a contract with them for 30 months even if they don't do anything for you. So what do they do? One thing they do NOT do is a crawl space inspection. This should be done annually. All they do is put down the termite bait stations and check it once a year. Well, they're supposed to check it once a year. Last year, the guy came and checked the bait stations and told me that there were no signs of termite activity. Precious made me put up security cameras so we could see the guy checking every location. But last week they sent out a person who knocked on the door, told me that they were going to check the stations and that they would let me know if they found any termite activity. After only a couple of minutes, Precious told me that the truck was gone. So I checked the security camera footage. She only checked one or two locations. She didn't even go into the back yard. Then she left. I got an email saying that there was no sign of termite activity. How can you trust a company like this? So I'm basically paying all this money for no service at all. So I can't cancel the contract for another six months. But I'm already looking into a replacement company. read more

I found a raccoon nesting in my attic and I called Miche Pest Control. The first visit went well. They caged the raccoon and cleaned out the attic and laid down new insulation. However months later another raccoon took up residence in my attic and I was angry with Miche Pest Control for not locating the holes in the carport roof and house roof. Despite me contacting them nearly a month in advance, sharing this information, and asking if there was a wait period before people should be in the yard, they did not mention that pest activity typically INCREASES for 2 weeks following treatment rather than decreasing, and the service was scheduled for 3 days before the party. I was duped into signing a one-year contract with this company. Please stay away and don't trust anything their tech has to say. They've limited capabilities and were failed to seal gaps properly that rodents chewed on. I had to hire Terminix to fix their shoddy job. The tech never provided any photos and they continued to claim the foaming used wasn't chewed. As you can see, that wasn't the case. Terminix provided photos along with a detailed report of their shoddy job. They knew from the get-go that the work was out of their scope and I had no option but to terminate my contract within a few days after signing. They also charged me a $200 cancelation fee and the cost of their first visit $224 even though they failed to fulfill their job. Any company that values its customers and has good ethics would have granted a full refund based on the shoddy and uncompleted job, but that wasn't the case. read more

Buyer Beware, I hired this company as I had some ants in my new home, they came out and sprayed, it took two or three treatments but it did get better, I also noticed some mice, I asked them to treat for this also.... This never got better no matter what they did.... After two or three months of treating for mice that never worked, I suddenly had a snake in the house.... Now after some extensive internet reading, I see that one can get snakes in a home, as the mice are a food source... when I called the company, guess what, they tried to upsell me on the service... I was like; I am not paying more for something that is not working... I fired them and had to get a new company.... Now it gets worse, they say I owe them half for the remaining contract term; I fired them for cause.... Spoke to Crystal.... Calls herself a customer success manager... who knows what that means.... Nasty woman told me that I had a contract and if I did not pay, they would send it to collections and ruin my credit.... Extortionist are what they are... So, I am doing my part to warn all prospective customers of Miche Pest Control, once you sign that is it, they will get your money and no service... if you have to stick with them as you are under contact, your problems will get worse and you will be with a left with a mess to clean up. Well, after 2 months of sending pictures of the termite infestation and damage missed by this "family owned" business, their insurance company found them not responsible for missing the termite infestation during a "termite inspection" prior to closing on our present house! How come I am not surprised by their "finding"? You cannot dispute truth! I had an inspection this morning with Miche Pest Control for a suspected case of bed bugs. The technician and customer service representatives are extremely nice but it does seem as though they lack the knowledge to identify bed bugs. My search for a PCO was guided by a reputable company from another state that had great reviews and told me to seek a company that uses the newly made fungal pesticide Aprehend which lead me to Miche. I saw that Miche had good reviews so I contacted them and set up an inspection. While there, the technician misidentified a cockroach nymph as a bed bug casting (we have had cockroaches in the past and are aware of that situation) and have confirmed with two other specialized bed bug companies that what he found was not a bed bug at all but a dead cockroach nymph. Again, he was very nice but only asked permission to rip the bottom off of the bed after already ripping off the bottom of our couch without our permission. I called the company to express my concern and while they were very nice and apologetic, they told me that the technician had no complaints against them but I noticed from the invoice that the technician they referred to was not the same technician that came to our house. As time sensitive and costly bed bug infestations are, I would have appreciated someone that had a little more expertise in the matter.
