It's an older bowling alley. We usually bowl at Brunswick but AMF bought out Brunswick anyways so we thought we give this place a try. They do have cosmic bowling but don't do it much which is fine because they still played good music. I like when they do have cosmic bowling you can see the lines throughout the lanes, which some bowlers like to line up against before bowling. The black light lights it up. There's really no server so we ordered at the bar. Once the bartender knew we were ordering drinks he did come check on us regularly, which was nice. The setup is all tables no couches. Service is good here, bowling price decent, the atmosphere is fun and the staff very friendly definitely will start coming here regularly. read more

We had a great time bowling the other night. I couldn't believe how busy it was on a Monday night. Must have been a league night or maybe just because of the Groupon. It was packed later on. When we initially first walked in it wasn't too busy so we found the promo for a pitcher of beer and a pie for 30.99. So my husband was pretty stoked for that. But HUGE disclaimer! It's only for particular beers make sure to ask before they pour whatever beer. Because we made the mistake since no one told us that it only applies to probably something like something super generic and mediocre like coors or michelob ultra etc. my husband ordered the juicy jack from San tan so he charged us 20 dollars on top of the 30.99. So a grand total of 50.99+ for a pitcher of beer and by far the worst pizza I've ever had in my entire life and I've eaten my fair share of pizzas around the world. My daughter who is 2 also loves pizza couldn't even tolerate the sauce like myself. No one enjoyed it. At all. We did enjoy the bowling aspect and the arcade games for my little one since she can't sit still. Employees/service was definitely nothing to write home about what so ever. So if you are going in to have a good time don't expect like stellar service or anything. It's giving very like I'm here I'll do the bare minimum but nothing above that. I don't normally write reviews on my first visit anyplace, but I had to share my Chandler Lanes! Absolutely the BEST experience I have ever had at a bowling alley! Was here with brothers from church for an outing and they rolled out the red carpet for us! When i walked in I wasn't there a couple minutes before Dylan came, welcomed me, introduced himself and knew ALL the details for us that night! His manager, Shannon had the lanes personalized for our group and Erin gave us top notch service! The food was hot and the drinks were cold. And I cannot forget the mention that the place was clean and I not rowdy at all! literally can't say enough! Everything was absolutely great. I live in the West Valley and would definitely drive out here just to bowl if this is the type of hospitality I can expect. We had a team outing at Chandler lanes around 4 PM. There's a good parking spot and when I entered, I felt a little old school, but still everything in good working condition. The food is just basic cafeteria food. Nothing great about it. The wings are nice. I had the chicken jalapeño spicy burger, which was decent. The pricing is really good overall it could meet the standards around the market . We were told that the balling closes at 5:30 for the leagues. I had no clue they still have smoking bowling alleys. No clue. They should make this more obvious on their website, as most people don't want to be inhaling clouds of cigarette smoke. While likely just as bad for you, at least e-cigarettes or vapes don't have such a putrid sour smell. I don't have an issue with smoking lanes usually but this location in particular was absolutely covered in smoke. You could see the residue on everything and there were so many people smoking that there was a cloud of it and I decided to leave. Staff wasn't doing anything but sitting on their phones ignoring us. The Good : $14.99 for unlimited bowling from 7pm - Midnight is a good deal anyway u look at it!! The lanes are nice and seem well maintained with updated software and furniture, and overall had a good vibe!! The Bad : I had to go get a server because everyone around us was being served but we were never approached, When the server finally came we ordered our food and drinks (ordered the appetizer sampler for $28.99 and 2 sodas with free refills total was over $40 ) it took roughly 20+ min to come out, when we finally got our sampler it was a good size but looked and tasted like frozen dollar tree food!!! It was a horrific excuse for a $30 plate of food also after the server dropped the food I never saw him again unless I went up to the food bar to get my own refills or a $2 2oz container of cheese for the hard microwaved pretzels that came with the sampler without cheese!! The bowling shoes and balls are also very aged and falling apart!! Conclusion: Wonderful place to Bowl for a reasonable price but I will eat first before I go next time! read more

Not my first time here, but it will be my last. 1900 N Arizona Ave has some pretty bad lanes. I am not that great at bowling, but the oil is insanely inconsistent, almost every lanes ball return jams (turning a 5+ game night into 2) and it seems like you have no A/C. I was pouring sweat, not one server came and offered water and there was almost no oil on our lane. Could not get a decent throw to save my life. Please fix your A/C! read more

I'm so awful at bowling but boy is it fun! This place is a chain of bowling alleys all around the valley. It's pretty much genetic. We had to wait 30 mins for a lane which wasn't bad since it was a holiday weekend. We waited patiently near the bar area.. you can play pool and order drinks. As 15 mins go by and NO comes to us to asked us if we were thirsty, if we were alive or even hungry. I hate that.... We finally heard our names over the (low) loud speakers. The best part about this place was the price. After 7pm it's $2.00 a game. That's what I'm talking about! It's not Lucky Strikes!.... but it was good! Went there for a usbc tournament a couple weeks back parking lot was disgusting when we showed up I was appalled they would weven hold a tournament here looking like this get inside mechanic is standing up from leaning against counter holding it up I guess everytime there's a call to the back he slowly would walk back to the back the rest of the staff called out so the poor shift lead dude was running back an forth doing everything meaning no one was manning the desk to call back calls by the time we would find him or the mechanic it would take 15 min to get a lane fixed each time for this that should of take 10 sec like a 180 or a pin in the gutter it was super hot in the building even people watching were complaining when he was asked about this he said corporate controls it not him like come on it's 120 out side this is nuts the whole experience was terrible and I know this is not exceptable to corporate nor any other location as I am a former 8 year manager of a amf and this was not except able before I left 6 years ago so I'm sure it isn't now this location be closed permanently its terrible read more

I come here often because my boyfriend is on a league. I spend a lot of money here every week when I come here. The bartender is always really friendly and quick to help me. We went here about three weeks ago. I wrote the names down and now can't find it but everyone was so kind!! I've never had service like this before. We were so grateful for each person and it's clear the management is doing an amazing job. The servers were so tentative and genuine. Today was the third time heading here to bowl, only to be turned away (for the 3rd time) because of league night. I've called multiple times to inquire on when league night is and the phone is never answered. Finally found the league schedules online and it reflected that it started at 630. We arrive at 345 and were turned away because they have to shut the lanes down to oil them. I believe there can be better notice of when league nights are or maybe they just answer the phone? I feel if they would have answered the phone we would have had notice about shutting the lanes down and wouldn't have wasted a trip. read more

I hardly ever go bowling... We decided to go after a late business meeting and I am so glad we did! I forgot how fun it can be. The space here seems to be recently remodeled, new and the bar is huge. They have great specials during the week, making this a very affordable place to have some fun! The bathrooms were clean, all the equipment worked perfectly. On the "outside" one may view me as a little refined, perhaps a little "prissy" so you may be surprised to see someone of my sensibilities reviewing a bowling alley. Let me share a story. One summer between like my sophomore and junior year in college, I was visiting my Mamaw. She's an avid bowler and was ranked in a senior league in Dallas. Naturally we went bowling. I finished my first set at 97 or 100. I kid you not, I heard my grandmother apologizing to her friends for my performance. In that grandmother whisper, I heard her say, "You know, she's in college, she doesn't have a lot of time to practice." To the review- this place was a little worn around the edges. This place is pretty neat. Decent hours and prices, so that definitely makes it worth while. At the time of my visit, the lanes were hosting some sort of black light bowling, and that definitely added to the experience. One of my main complains though, is that the balls that they have here are a little funky when it comes to finger holes. I know it may sound weird, but the small hole balls are too little, and the medium hole balls hurt my fingers after a while. (Grip) I think in this case, it is in your best interest to bring your own ball. Many of the available balls are scratched and tend to not respond well to the lanes... Additionally, this place wasn't super clean (At least not when I went).There was a mess in the bathroom that was kind of off-putting... water all over the counter (which got my purse wet) and papers all over the floor...but other than that, no harm, no foul. The staff is friendly, and the options for snacks are pretty delicious and won't burn a hole in your pocket. All in all I enjoyed my time here, but I have definitely experienced better. read more
