    Fun fun

This place was clean, reasonably priced, and the staff is very helpful. It's well spread out and the kids don't waste all their time on the grab machine.. BONUS! Snack bar has great snacks and priced fair. We will be back!

Had an hour to kill after work before an event in the area and checked out Taroko Sports. My original intent was to see what this place was and determine if I want to come back with my family in the future. The place was unexpected dead...zero other customers. I asked the employee about their prices and promotions and he let me know their current promotion was all you can play card in 1 hour for $11. That quickly transformed me into an interested participant and I purchased the card and got to work. I hit the main batting cages first...I didn't count them all but there were at least 8 in parallel with each other. Some were for softball and others for baseball. It looked like baseball ranged from 50mph to 80 or 90mph. At my tender old age I started in the 60mph and that was about right. The neat part of these cages is the video screen that shows a pitcher winding up and delivering the ball. Much more realistic than staring at a pitching machine. They had bats and helmets to use. I was expecting a hairnet box or something before putting the helmet on but no deal. You may want to be careful who you follow so you don't get drenched in the previous batter's sweat. Next I tried the candlepin bowling. With the unlimited play I played this 3 times. It's fun and quick and all in working order. I've seen these out of order frequently at other establishments. I then tried their homerun derby cage. You can pick any stadium to play and the machine lobs the ball up for you to smack it as hard as you can. Depending the 'skill level' you pick in the game the more compensation you receive, so parents and children can compete and both have fun. I tried the hardest setting in my 2nd game and hit no homers, but a few were close. I then tried the perfect pitch game. You get a ball and a grippy floor to throw from. I didn't figure out exactly how this works but I think you have to knock out all the numbers from 1-16 on the panel. It's more difficult than it looks. I think there's also a speed multiplier so if you throw 70mph you may get more points than 50mph Finally I played both pop-a-shot games. The full-sized one is a blast and you can link to the other machines to compete real-time with friends. The mini pop-a-shot is too easy and keeps going as long as you put some effort in. Overall, I was a kid in an empty candy store for the hour. Got to try out every single-player game and all were fun and worked well. Thanks Taroko Sports!

Pros: State of the art batting cages. Lots of tvs with live games on. Friendly and attentive staff. Very clean, brand new facility. Affordable food (pizza, wings, tenders, fountain drinks). Decent assortment of arcade games. Tasty pizza w a fluffy, crunchy crust. Cons: No WiFi available for guests. Low signal strength for Verizon customers (only 1-2 bars). Music pretty loud. Gross tap water (but they have bottled for sale).

Cool spot , perfect for families or a kids party! I like how we can pay as we play rather than admission fee. Snacks cane out quick. It is a smaller venue so it can get crowded quick but we went on a Thursday afternoon so it was perfect.

    Sweet!

Super kind staff!! Stayed until about close with 4 of my friends for the 9pm - close deal on Friday! Talon and Anastasia made sure we had a great time the whole night!

Came here with my family and had the best time! The place was clean and all of the games worked, staff was super friendly and helpful! Would recommend for batting cages or just family fun

All the games were modern and the batting cages had softball and baseball options with speed differences.

For birthday parties they have a couple rooms available but if those are booked then some open tables that are designated with decoration and a reserved sign. Staff were friendly from the manager Laura to their worker Ari. My kiddo has been here for a couple field trips to watch movies and play games and loved it. Their VR seemed a little big for kids and a little old looking. They had a couple ring toss machines where one had 2 rings and the other had like 20. They have a huge claw machine that looks impossible to win anything for the unskilled. Aside from that this place is an overall fun place for the family with a variety of activities to do.

I explained that threw were 16 tickets available just 2 hours earlier and we planned to buy on site due to drive time and more wanting to be late. I asked to speak to a manager and Alex was wonderful! Payton his team member was equally wonderful! Both went above and beyond to offer us an option so we didn't leave disappointed. The experience was visually interesting. I have neck problems so it was hard for me to hold the device up too long but I also enjoyed just laying down on the floor and looking about. My friend enjoyed the animal tour. I didn't realize the experience was a virtual reality as it looks like a walk through on the website so that was a bit disappointing but that could be because I didn't fully read the descriptions. Really appreciate the kindness of the 2 team members who helped us. Payton Alex Verse Immersive

I ordered the Double Cheeseburger with the Cotton Candy Shirley Temple ($4.99 extra). We decided to bowl for 2 1/2 hours; it was so much fun! We went around noon on a Monday before the crowds, so only a few lanes were full at the time. The food was so good and flavorful! The burger was so juicy and cooked perfectly! I loved the drink; it was so fun and a great photo op! We played a few games of billiards , and afterward, we decided to check out the arcade. I was a little sad some games were out of order, so I only got to play a few, but overall I had a great time! This is such a great deal for the price and what's included! I definitely recommend checking it out!

The place is totally air conditioned, no windows, has flat screen tv's and consoles, comfy chairs, what more could you ask for? Don't even get me started on the customer service, which is hands down, the friendliest customer service I have ever experienced this side of the desert, including Las Vegas. Here we were, chatting up the shop clerk, when lo and behold I find me a copy of Vampire Hunter D. Now I know the game is kinda crappy, but I had to have it for my collection of rarities. Cheaper prices than on Amazon too. So far, this is the only store I know of that stays open so late for all of your gamez (yes, I said GAMEZ) needs.

We came and the girl at the front was so nice. Talked about how the paintings were inspired by the owners kid. Whatever, what a weird comment, right? Then they give you 3D glasses, and let me tell you YOU REALLY WANT THOSE GLASSES. Of course, the first hole my 6yo starts a royal tantrum. Once again, the girl at the desk gives both my kids glow bracelets. It doesn't calm my daughter down, but it helps. My kids are fussy the whole time, but I was having a ball. The paintings and colorings on everything with the glasses literally make you feel like you are hallucinating. In some cases I felt like I was hovering or something and didn't know where to put my feet at. Absolute riot. Course was decent. Not overtly hard - good for my 6yo and 8yo. There was one hole about 2/3 of the way through that was basically impossible. Got a military discount too. After we finished the girl at the counter asked if we wanted some free tokens for the arcade. I don't know if that is standard or she just felt bad for me and having my kids go nuclear multiple times while there. In either case, a super nice gesture but I had to decline because I just needed to get them outta there.
