The website is difficult to navigate unless you read by picture. Looks more like multiple flyers glued to a screen that have hidden links in some, but not others. When you select a date, time, and location you end up with the right date and location, but varying times. I booked for 2 people for the 12pm - 4pm session and ended up with one at 12pm and the other @ 4:30pm. = 1 star The staff is friendly and generally helpful in getting issues worked out. That definitely helps, but with all of the online reservation stuff that has to be un-FUBARed, it takes away from the experience and play time. I'm not a web designer, but with most people using technology to purchase goods, services, and experiences, you'd think they'd do some market research to gather feedback on how to build a user-friendly website. We haven't tried any of the other Airsoft locations in Phoenix, but after our three (3) past experiences, I'm ready to move on from VIP Airsoft. Each has its own merits, and Brkthrough really stands out in a handful of ways. - Team-based: I love that you rack up points as a team and can see everyone's scores live! In a bigger group, it makes it feel like you're competing with your friends even if though you have to be split into groups if 2-4 people. - Score limits: There's a bit of a strategy to racking up the most points. You can earn up to 100 points each room, which means you can either replay games to improve your score or try to play as many different games as possible. (Some rooms are easier to score in than others though) - Room wait times: Fantastic. We had virtually no wait at any room ever. There were 40 rooms (massive) with only a few closed so it never felt overbooked. - Immersion: The set design is pretty phenomenal, making you feel dizzy on a train, dropped into a navy ship, or placed in a ball pit. - Cost: Currently runs about $30/person for a two hour session, making it the most affordable of the three quick-play room style centers. Quick entry into rooms also made it feel like we had plenty of time! Some rooms were hard to understand, though there are hints in the hallway or you can ask an employee for help. The bar is a nice touch too. I like that even escape room-style games will slightly change (ex: with different quiz answers) so you can still have fun if you return.

We arrived on a Tuesday shortly after they opened around 4:15 PM, and we were the only ones there, which worked out perfectly. This may have been why the manager gave us extra attention, showed us how to throw properly, and guided us through three different games. That personal touch really made the experience even better. For two people, I felt that one hour was a good amount of time--though we definitely could've stayed two hours at least if we didn't have other plans. Pricing for one hour is $54, which feels a bit steep, but I was able to snag a deal for $27, which was much more reasonable for a one-hour activity. They also had about five arcade machines set up with free play, so you could easily spend more time there either before or after your axe-throwing session. I didn't realize until after we arrived that they offer food and drinks too...next time, I'd plan for lunch or dinner along with the activity. This place would be great for a team-building event or a group date night. Axe throwing is a bit harder than it looks, but definitely a lot of fun. We enjoyed the different game options, like tic tac toe that made it even more fun. One thing I didn't love: when you arrive, they ask for a credit card to keep on file in case you order food or drinks. Then when we finished and hadn't purchased anything extra, we were asked if we wanted to leave a tip. I found that a little awkward. While the manager was super friendly and helpful (possibly because it was empty--or maybe that's just how they treat all first-timers), I think there should be a better, more subtle way to encourage tipping without putting guests on the spot. The staff was super helpful from checking us in, teaching us how to throw, coaching us during our runs, and creating fun games for us to compete against each other during our hour reservation. It was a super quiet Tuesday night and we had the place to ourselves with only two other bays being used. I learned about a D-Bat Speed and agility camp held during spring break thru my Son's flag football team. I signed him up and the 3 day camp Jordan held was fantastic. I again brought my Son Logan back for the 4 session Speed and Strength course. I have to say Jordan is a fantastic coach. He knows the needs of these young athletes, he does very well at evaluating their abilities and really works to coach them up. My Son showed great improvement in a short time. I appreciate that Jordan values the training session and is a "no nonsense work hard" trainer. He's stern but still fun and interacts well. I can't say enough how much we appreciate his coaching and Logan looks forward to working with Jordan in the future.

I was invited to D-Bat by my niece as she's training for her upcoming college softball season…read more It's nice to see indoor batting cages are available as it's quite miserable outdoors to be hitting balls for an hour. The cage we used was in good shape- the floors, the netting, etc. The speed, the type of pitch and the pitch location are all able to be selected prior to entering the cage from a screen outside. The pitches were quite accurate to the settings we chose and almost every pitch was a strike, so you're not wasting your time with poor pitches. The downsides were limited, but included waiting about 3-5mins for the machines to rotate between baseballs and softballs. I also found it difficult to time up the pitches as the tubing to deliver the ball to the machine was short and not completely transparent, and once the ball hit those wheels it was halfway to me. Being a guest, I'm not sure what the membership rates are or what the price for individual sessions cost, but my niece said it's reasonable. Having hit in most of the batting cages in the East Valley, I'm trusting her input. Thanks D-Bat for a fun time

He does give a lesson or two but he is the most unprofessional, unethical, unreliable person you will meet. He will offer you "packages" but then always cancels lessons with no notice or just doesn't show up. He scammed us out of over $1500. Even though he has agreed and promised to numerous times to refund, he will not refund our money. He now won't respond. He does everything possible to get money out of you. DONT DO IT. He is the exact example of what people warn you about in youth sports. He was working out of Full count last year and the Hitters House(not affiliated with the business itself)but I've heard he's also at Dingers. Stay away.
