After bowling for several games I ended up with an issue on my Lane. Went up to counter. Waited at least 20 minutes as the bowling manager was running. The bar. It's obvious if this location is all about the bar and they really don't care about the customer experience. Great Bowling alley that seems to also be a Bowlero. Check-in Process: Front Desk was great was clear about pricing and we were able to get a lane right away. Bowling Balls: This was a standout for me all the balls were in the corner to the left of the front desk very convenient. All the balls were sorted by weight and labeled in the area they were kept. All bowling alleys should do this! Lanes: The lanes themselves were clean and the seating area was clean as well. The systems have been upgraded and there are plenty of options from changing the style of the graphics to mini games you can setup. These are not your parents scoring systems. Bathrooms: bathrooms are as you would expect not the cleanest not the dirtiest, a bowling alley bathroom through and through. Pricing: $63.74 for 4 people for 2 games with shoes. My family has been bowling at Northglenn lanes for 20-plus years. My daughter is disabled and bowls with the special Olympics there. Recently they have a new manager that transferred in from Wheatridge and is turning the whole place upside down. He is charging the seniors on league there $6 for water cups. He was heard telling his employees that he "doesn't give a damn about seniors and the disabled. They have run this place into the ground and now I am going to make it right". A pitcher of Modelo is $25???? Then I went up to the counter again to ask if this was a mistake and was told it was correct. So 4 beers worth for $25. Then I asked how much a single Modelo was and they said they believed it was "$9.51".... even craft beers in the bottle aren't that much? We ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza only to have the pizza come out without the pepperoni. The pizza was pretty awful, even for bowling alley pizza. It was also $20. Resoundingly not worth it. The worst part was there was some type of trivia or something going on. This was very annoying, loud and unorganized. It felt like every 45 seconds this guy would come on the microphone and tell either a really unfunny dad joke or give trivia for topics that were very specific like video game knowledge and topics that were aimed for kids but no kid would ever know. The music was fine but the microphone and music were so loud I couldn't hear the people I was with. I am a 25 year old male and was with my cousins age 30, 18, 16 and 2. I checked out Northglenn Lanes this evening. After an awesome visit at another AMF center in the area recently, I was anxious to see how this place compared. I arrived at about 8:30pm to a full house of league bowlers, but by 9pm, the place was totally empty, and I was able to take advantage of the Monday night Dollar Mania special - $5 cover, $1 games, and $1 shoe rentals until closing. Definitely a good deal, as the going rate per game these days seems to be in the $5.25+ range. This location had a unique split house design (some lanes on the left wall, and the rest on the mainstream back wall.) Lane conditions were just right, and there appeared to be a brand new scorekeeping system intact. It resembled a huge iPad, and allowed you to chat with other lanes, photograph yourself for your avatar, choose customized backgrounds and colors for your scorecard, teleconference with the front desk, the works. I checked out the snack bar, and there were a couple of drink specials going on, although none of them really fit in. The $2 shots were limited to an oddball line of liqueurs that one wouldn't normally order as a shot, such as Kahlua, Drambuie, and Blackberry Schnapps. Coors pitchers were a whopping $11.95 a pop. I had never heard of any of the $6 mixed drinks. After paying for a couple more games, I realized that I hadn't been charged my $5 cover, and I got a friendly "don't worry about it" from the manager. Score! So, after remembering I brought my own energy drink, I went with 2 shots of Absolut Citron. Total charge: $11.97. Oh well... Definitely recommend, particularly on the nights with special rates. My only suggestions would be to maybe lower the alcohol prices a tad, and maybe put a 13 pounder in the lineup of house balls, as I didn't see any. UPDATE: Had a second visit to check out the $2 Tuesday special - $2 shoe rentals, $2 games, and $2 PBR drafts from 8pm until closing. Unfortunately, the PBR keg was foamed to the max, and each round had to be poured, set aside to settle for a bit, and re-poured as the foam disappeared. The waitress was cool about it all and hand delivered each round directly to my lane, but it seems like an aerator for the kegs might be the call, especially if PBR is on special. The place was empty on this particular visit, so I couldn't imagine how hard it would be to accommodate the crowds with a foamy beer special if it was packed. read more

The Crew here is amazing! Each person you meet is always greeting you with a Smile and always find a way to jeep you happy and Satisfied! the lanes are clean along with the bathrooms. They always hold some of the best events along with Seasonal decorations. Ashley, Harry, and Nolan are great leaders to a great Crew and id like to give them special props to them! Honestly, when I read the reviews on this place I started rethinking my decision to join a bowling league here. Ever since week 1, I've been pleasantly surprised. The bathrooms were confined but clean. The staff from food service to the bowling shop have been outstanding, and the the food has been surprisingly good. I was impressed they offered cauliflower wings! I also want to recognize the staff that works in the shop. We made a couple visits waiting trying to catch the employee who can measure/drill balls and the level of customer service exceeded expectations. I liked this place pretty old school but we were able to het a lane even though they had a league bowling going on. The prices of drinks are lower than other bowling alleys. The only thing is their bowling balls are not in good condition a lot of them have lots of gouge marks in them so I probably would not pay other than a groupon price because of that. Absolutely horrible!! Us and another family decided to buy a Groupon on a Friday night not realizing that you had to wait 24 hours to use it. So... the following weekend we asked some other friends (two people) to join us... HOLY CRAP! It was like asking if they could shut the entire building down just for us. First, the young woman at the counter was rude. Seemed annoyed that she even had to help us silly Groupon buying people. (I need to say Ruey at the snack counter was amazing.. we liked her A LOT!!) It's Memorial Day weekend and the place is 1/2 empty. We were here on a 2 hour Groupon for the kids and planned on food for 10 people and BEER... but you are refusing to add 2 people to our lane. Okay... so what happened is 2 of us sat out and let the others play. No food was purchased and only one pitcher of beer and 2 cocktails. Oh the revenue lost... and will we be back??? Went in to get some finger tip inserts for a new bowling ball I bought through Letgo.com The place is okay from the outside but is outstanding on the inside. My last visit was over 25 years ago. It has changed and has all the newer amenities. I decided to play a few games and try out the new fingertips. My interactions were great at that point. Tasha was outstanding! She was helpful and polite. She even listened to a couple of old stories I had of the bowling alley as it used to be. I'm glad I went in and played a few games. I will definitely return and bowl some more. BTW, they have a summer bowling program where you potentially can bowl 3 games per day, with a summer pass. 7/5/2018 They have a Pro Shop here. My ball needed redrilling, and this was just the place to do that. Price was reasonable and service was great! The shop owner seemed very attentive to my needs and still will stop by and ask my bowling is feeling right. Offering to modify it for free, if needed. Oh, and Tasha is still outstanding. Alright, alright... 3 stars is more like it, but they have a saving grace... Let's start with the lanes... the lanes themselves are in good shape, the oil was nicely laid. The approach... a little bit rough. Looks like it hasn't been refurbished since the old days of smoking, and there were definitely some sticky spots. Ruey, was the saving grace. What a ray of sunshine, in an otherwise fairly depressing bowling alley... which is a shame, because the layout is very cool. Really though, the worst part is the lack of heat, and the bathrooms. The bathrooms kind of stink, especially the ladies room according to my lady. Men's room is whatever. Kinda smelled like pee, but it's a place to pee. Women's room apparently had paper towels all over the floor, and a smell I would not want to imagine. The heat... fix that sh*t... whoever owns this place... fix it. Get your crap together and pay to get it fixed. You will lose more customers and money the longer you neglect that problem. If you need assistance, hit me up. I'll just want my money back and free bowling forever. It's COLD in there. Even on a busy day, most people are wearing their jackets. How cold is it in there when the temperature outside is less than 10 degrees? FREEZING is the answer. I will be back, but not by choice. HORRIBLE!!! Typically I'm not one to write a review and if I could give less than one star I would. I've had enough of the poor management. I am a league bowler, I'm there every week in the winter (33 weeks), the restrooms are disgusting, they are never cleaned well and always smell like urine and sometimes worse. The stall in the women's restroom has been out of order for 2 weeks, unacceptable in my opinion, a plumber can be there in 24 hours to repair the toilet. Recently, they have changed their hours to open at 5PM on Wednesday, the beer truck waited in the parking lot for an hour and the heat wasn't turned on until employees got there, so you had bowlers sitting in the pit in their winter jackets. Two weeks in a row there was not Budweiser products on tap, there is not adequate staff for the amount of league bowlers, there is not a waitress most nights, so you wait in line, the bartender is new which only adds to the wait lines at the bar. When you order a pitcher, you better have your whole team at the bar with you so they can check each and every ID in order to get a pint glass, it makes no difference that you are there every single week for 33 weeks, they want to see your ID. When ordering food, you will wait 30-60 minutes and in my case, I waited 60 min and went to the snack bar in which I was told it was already delivered.... It wasn't delivered to me (I did get my food after another 30 min.). Now lets get to the lanes; the lanes break down often, so often in fact, league bowlers are grumbling about leaving this center and with a brand new center opening in town, this is definitely a probability. The oil breaks down before the first game is over. Corporate (Bowlmor) has been in the center when concession staff has walked out and quit, yet they have done nothing to make the center better. In my opinion, this is the armpit of bowling alleys in the Denver Metro. Once my league is over, I will not be back. I may return if Corporate steps in and makes the center comparable to the other alleys in town and the management has changed. read more

From the outside, this bowling alley doesn't look like much. It looks like it was built in the 1950's and it looks like the type of place where you'd have to record your own scores with a pencil and a sheet of paper. However, on the inside, this place is one of the most modern bowling alley's I've ever been to. Each bowling lane has a touch screen which allows you to do a multitude of different functions, such as viewing your bowling stats from several different charts, tutorial advice on where to aim your ball to knock down the remaining pins, and even the ability to take and upload your own face pic to associate with each bowlers name. The lanes are well maintained and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We didn't eat at the snack bar, but it looked very clean with lots of menu options, including some healthy ones. My one complaint is that there was a lot of oil on the floor (not the bowling lane itself, but the floor around where you retrieve your ball), which caused one of our bowlers to slip and fall. I went there on Wednesday, July 17th at 8:30 pm for some unlimited bowling for $7.29 with my brother. Amazing deal... so we had a great time, but then when it was time to pay we were charged full price: $55.11 for 9 total games and 2 shoe rentals. But wait, it should've been around 20 dollars or so, give at take 3 dollars... so we asked the woman at the counter about the unlimited bowling. She claimed they didn't provide that service anymore, and she was saying this as I was looking at a poster... on their wall... advertising unlimited bowling...every Wednesday... after 8PM... for $7.29. Not only is it advertised there, but it's advertised on their website in addition to advertisements above each lane on the bowling screens. Now I'm no expert on business ethics, but that sounds a tad unethical to offer one thing but provide another. If you don't offer it, don't advertise it. Thank you. read more

Horrible! Bowling Women's State. Sitting area was not cleaned up from Saturday. Stepping in spilled pop and food. Three feet from the foul line you stick and then go sliding. Two of us almost fell.
