I stopped by a few days ago to see if they could replace a muffler for me. Lucky for me they had one in stock. I brought the car in today and figured I would eat my lunch while I was waiting. They pulled my car in the shop, two guys started working on it, and they had it done before I could finish eating my lunch! I paid $109.00 in total including taxes on Feb. 22nd of 2022 (02/22/22) I brought my own aftermarket Vibrant Muffler and my own aftermarket Vibrant Resonator installed on my 1998 F-150 4x4 4.6 L. I called around 10 other muffler shops in Spokane for estimates on installing a resonator and muffler on my truck and most shops didn't want to give an estimate but since I already had the parts and knew exactly what I wanted they did provide me with a rounded cost estimate and muffler mart was the best quote. I then called in the morning to see if they were busy, they told me there weren't busy and I told them I would head over in about 30 minutes. I then arrived gave them my car keys and the after market muffler and resonator and they immediately started to work on my truck. They sawed out the original muffler and cut out more exhaust pipe to make room for the resonator and welded the new parts in. Overall my experience at muffler mart was good. The weldings were good however at the very end of the weld I did notice that there was a small pocket that wasn't completely sealed and I didn't notice until I came home. It's hard to see unless your looking up close and I think it would have been hard to see with there welding mask on but it could have been over corrected if they gave it a second glance before returning the vehicle to me. Take a second look to make sure everything's perfect would have taken them a minute or two. Those are my thoughts. In regards to the cost and time they did very good it was fast I did call ahead of time and told them I would be coming in about 30 minutes since it was a slow day and I also called around Spokane to compare prices for the work I was requesting and I did have my own parts so that brought the cost significantly down. In summary, I recommend muffler mart for exhaust related services. read more

Stopped in on the morning of 3/14/19, after calling to explain sounds/situation. Hopkins Automotive is our mechanic shop & they recommended Muffler Mart to me. The guy on the phone nicely mentioned that he'd have to put the car on the lift to really know the problem. I stopped in just before 9am, was greeted promptly, and the car was on the lift minutes later, and only a couple minutes after that, the diagnosis was that the muffler was fine. with the car being 10 years old, I was sure I'd have to replace A LOT, and that I'd have a big bill, but it was only a flange, which he said was common for my car make (brand). This type of honesty will keep me coming back to Muffler Mart for all exhaust help. read more

Came in here. Asked if they did work on exhaust manifolds, they asked what type of car, I told them Subaru. They told me to take it to some shop that specialized in Subaru, basically just disregarded me and didn't let me explain the issue at all which is actually somewhat a simple and common repair for an exhaust shop, stripped manifold stud/head. So I just took my business elsewhere, a bit up the road as they seemed busy anyways. Exhaust shop up the road got everything done that I wanted within an hour. And they were attentive in their customer service. I'm sure this place does good work for fair prices but I was a bit disappointed when I asked one question and they directed me elsewhere. read more

Over the last 15 years these guys have bent stainless tubing for me, installed stainless tubing & mufflers, & now replaced a cheap aftermarket stainless header with a new exhaust manifold, tubing & resonator. Prices are always fair & reasonable, with excellent service & work. read more

I've been taking vehicles to Muffler Mart for 25 years, and have never been let down. The original owners, Don and Guy, retired in recent years and sold the business to new owners. Lucky for Spokane, they are also good guys that do fair business. No unnecessary up sells, no unneeded work. I'll keep taking everything I own to Muffler Mart. Update: Downgrading from 5 stars to 4 stars. I took my Dodge Durango in and had all 4 rotors and brake pads replaced at the cost of $700. I noticed afterwards that the parking brake still went to the floor and was ineffective. I went back in and asked about having it adjusted, and was told they would have to remove both rear tires and wheels to adjust the parking brake, which would take an hour and cost an additional $77. I was told "if we had known it needed adjusting, we could have done it while we were in there the first time". I assume any traditional brake shop would have checked the parking brake and performed this as part of the standard service, not as an additional cost unless parts were needed. My advice: Mufflers? Go to Muffler Mart. Brakes or any other specialty service? Find a shop that specializes in it. Next time I'll stick to Golden Rule for brakes. read more

My teenage daughter took her car in after it was making loud noises and losing some power. Was told it had a bad catalytic converter and was going to be $1000 to repair it. I ordered the part and found a different muffler shop to install it to save some money. Turns out the converter was fine, had a broken exhaust piece and a couple broken brackets and was repaired for less than $200 and now runs better than ever. I really hope this wasn't an intentional way to rip off a 16 year old girl and was just an oversight but left a really bad taste in my mouth. read more

The first time I had been to this shop turned out to be a great experience! They seemed very honest and didn't do unnecessary work in order to charge me more. A different non-specialty shop (recommended to me ) wanted to charge $100 just for an assessment. Muffler Mart assessed it at no charge, had it figured out within 15 mins and fixed in 30 mins. Can not say enough good about this shop! Bryan and Jeremy run a clean and friendly shop. I noticed a rattle under the car at specific RPM. They look at it right away and found a soft spot on the muffler. 20 minutes start to finish they had a new muffler on and I was down the road for $89 inlcuding labor! read more
