These guys are the bomb! I rolled in at 5:04 pm on a Monday in a hailstorm with a low pressure warning. No appointment (obviously). Total professionals from front desk check-in to back on the road in 45 minutes! Thanks Aidan! I watched Aidan (didn't know his name then) through the window in the waiting area briskly Jack up my car on this slick lift thing (technical term), pull the tire chalk it (to be sure it was put back on for balance I guess?). Next thing I know he's pulling the tire off the rim. Oh oh something is up! Then the tire is back on and at NO charge I am back on the road (after removing a screw and plugging the hole) at 5:45. My go to tire store in the pacific north west. Now that Les Schwab accepts reservations, you no longer have to spend hours waiting for your snow tires to be changed. Book a time, drop off car and within the hour it will be ready for you. This chain of tire stores is the most efficient in North America. Most of the time the employees run everywhere. There are no slackers here. There is always free popcorn and coffee in the waiting room. Their new tires always come with free services so once you have bought new tires from Les Schwab you don't have to worry about them again. Their prices are competitive but usually a little higher than other tire stores. I just wish there were more Les Schwab tire centers in other parts of the country. read more

I've been here a few times (during COVID and before COVID). Before COVID, it was easy to just hang out in the lobby area and wait for my car to have its tires changed (usually a seasonal change over). But, during COVID times, I decided not to hang around and wait for the car to have the tires changed. I did book an appointment, which Les Schwab now does! Yay! When I arrived this last time, I went in (masked) and left them my keys and then headed out up the hill for a brisk walk out toward the EWU campus. Best not to hang around the lobby nowadays (or at least during COVID). Even though I did have an appointment, it did take a little longer than usual in getting my tires switched over. (My snow tires are mounted, so basically it is like changing a tire x 4.) It's a pretty busy store, so I recommend always getting an appointment for a seasonal change over. Although they are usually pretty good about being fast even if you don't have an appointment. Hopefully, in the future, I can be here and either stay in the lobby or walk to coffee somewhere and not have to worry about COVID! read more

They filled my spare with air, fixed the hole in my studded tire (free of charge), and helped me put on the fixed tire in the parking lot when they saw me trying to do it myself. Plus they had popcorn and coffee as I waited inside. Great service!! read more

Showed up asking for a tire to be replaced as one had the rubber bubbling from a car accident i was in. They then upsold me and convinced me to also get another tire done as it apparently had worn treading, i agreed then they only replaced the tire that had worn treading and charged me for both tires and allowed me to drive off the lot with a bubbled tire that could've popped at any moment. the next week when i came back for a separate service request they noted the bubble and tried to quote me for a whole new tire. When I noticed they hadn't replaced my tire the previous week i was livid and demanded they put on a new one ASAP, when I mentioned to the working manager at the time that I had been driving on the freeway at speeds of 65+ and asked if he would have paid for damages to my car if it popped he was simply silent and had no response. Sparky has done a WONDERFUL job in the few years he has been managing this location. Truth be told, I went to another Les Schwab location for years because of a few issues we had at the Cheney location... When Sparky moved into town, he came into my business, introduced himself, was very professional. I explained my experience thus far... He asked to give him and his staff a shot... and that was a few years ago! I am there often with a fleet of vehicles, trucks, trailers, boat, etc... Here is my Les Schwab story I had a tire blow i was almost to work. My car stuck in parking lot next to work down the street from Les Schwab. My credit is so so i didnt really think i would get credit but applied anyway. I was pre approved but now how to get my car there on 3 tires? I called I spoke with an amazing young man at the Cheney Wa store he set up for someone to come get my blown tire, go back put new tore on rim then return tire put back on car i go down and get the other three tires on. I use to come here all the time for alignments and tire rotations and I was always treated really well. However this last time I was there the front person was extremely rude and seemed so annoyed anytime I asked him a question. I did not feel welcomed at all and I will mostly likely find another place to go to next time I need an alignment. read more

After a few minutes they discovered the problem with my tire and patched it for free. The crew at Les Schwab in Cheney really went above and beyond for me. My tire popped on I-90 20+ minutes away from Cheney and I called roadside assistance through my insurance company to get a tow. (BIG hole in the sidewall of the tire, and my van has sealant and a pump instead of a spare.) After about 1.5 hours of sitting on the side of the road, they informed me they didn't actually have a tow truck coming. I called Les Schwab less than a hour before they closed an explained the situation. That is an impossible request to get done in less than an hour, but they stayed open late to help me out. They immediately sent their mobile truck out, he replaced my rear tire (took it off my wheel and put another one on) right there on the side of the road, and then followed me into the store where I got the others replaced. They were waiting for me when I got there, and put three men on it, even though it was after hours. From the time I called them, to the time they had me on the road again with all new tires (which I needed, they didn't oversell me), was less than an hour an a half and they were safe and professional the entire time. read more

Sparky and Ryan and the rest of the Cheney team don't wear capes but they sure are Superheroes in our book. We blew a tire on on our travel trailer on I-90 on our way to Idaho. Called this Les Schwab store and Sparky stayed on the phone with us to try and get an exact location so he could make sure the repair truck he sent would get on the freeway at the right on-ramp. Ryan arrived and, working on the traffic side of the trailer, had our tire changed in about 15 minutes. He then had us follow him into Cheney to get the tire replaced. Sparky looked at the other 3 tires and told us they'd probably get us to Idaho and back home in Puyallup - no hard sell at all, my choice. I chose to get all tires replaced. Without getting into the details of the deal he gave us I couldn't have been happier!!! Had a severe vibration issue on my truck on I-90 about 10 miles West of the Cheney, WA exit. I went to the Cheney Les Schwab and they discovered that the right rear tire was failing. I couldn't find the receipt, but through their system they found that the tires had been recalled. They replaced all the tires free of charge. Huge kudos to Les Schwab and all the friendly help I received at the Cheney store. read more

I bought for $1,100 a set of tires, which are suppose to be rotated. They would not schedule an appointment for rotation. Told to come in for rotation, it would take an hour. Drove 12 miles for rotation then told I have to wait 5 hours. It only takes 10 minutes for a rotation. Not going back! read more

I had to bring my car in to have the snow tires removed and my other ones put back on. I recieved a phone call from Verle, a mechanic here. He informed me that he could not put my tires back on because the tread was completely smooth - I was miffed that I hadn't been told this when they took my tires off. I was treated with a pretty condescending attitude by Verle when I went down to observe the problem with the tires. He couldn't quite understand why I wanted proof that my tires weren't good. I went back inside to talk about new tires and was assisted by Josh who had GREAT customer service. He assured me that everything would be fine and he handled the situation well - he could tell I was frustrated and worked with me to get the best deal. read more

Sparky greeted us as though we were friends! We had a screw in our tire that did not seem to be losing any air but were afraid to pull it out for fear of springing a big leak. The staff went well out of there way to help us. They stayed over time to fix our Sprinter van's trailer hitch and to check our battery because the indicator light was on. It turns out the generator was broke and they fixed the trailer hitch and checked the battery for free. We were astounded by their thoughtfulness. It is extremely comforting to know there are good people such as these folks who help old retired travelers passing through their town of Chaney.
