We stopped by on a Friday night and had roughly an hour wait. Once we were sat we were quickly attended to. This place has an incredibly large menu, there is definitely something for everyone. I ended up getting a gluten free pizza, it was pretty good but not necessarily earth shattering. I would get it again. The highlight of our night though was getting to meet the owner of Amici, on an extremely busy night he took the time to talk and get to know us, telling us all about his family business! Awful experience at a supposedly upscale restaurant. The server had 0 clue about any of the beer selections and assured us he was bringing what we requested and did not. It was the opposite of what we were looking for. Then my pizza came out missing the main ingredient of pepperoni and instead of remaking the pizza they just cooked some pepperoni on the side and slapped it on the now cold pizza. By this time my friend had finished their meal and I wasn't paying almost $30 dollars for the pizza they "corrected" and just went hungry for the night as the meal was over by this time and it was time to go. Never have I been to a place that would consider this acceptable at the rates they charge and the location they are in. More corporate greed. read more

If you go here you must try the Homemade Ravioli in a Brown Butter Lemon Caper Sauce. It is so light and fluffy and the sauce on top is delicate with a nice burst from the caper. We got there just as lunch was wrapping up so we were able to get the chopped salad, fried ravioli mozzarella stick and the lasagna. All three were off the charts. Than at 3, it switches to happy hour. $10 for all pizzas and $10 for certain pastas. We ordered pizza and pasta for our after lunch round 2. We were fat happy from all the delicious food and the experience. The lasagna was "the best lasagna I've ever had" per my wife. The stopper was this ravioli filled deep fried mozzarella stick. Crispy outside with lava flowing cheese inside with the ravioli with more shredded cheese on top with the dipping sauce. Pizzas and pasta and salads were all perfect. we ordered the brussel sprout appetizer, a regular buffalo chicken pizza, a regular farmers market (their version of veggie pizza) added red sauce instead of olive oil, and a gluten free funghi pizza. i thoroughly enjoyed the brussel sprouts appetizer which came with mushrooms and the sweetest baby roasted tomatoes, though i do wish there was a bit more salt and bit more of the glaze. we didn't love the farmers market pizza - the tomato sauce was overpowering but that was no fault to the resteraunt as we added it in. we loved the buffalo chicken pizza and the gluten free fungus pizza. though the gluten free pizza was a bit of a steep up charge (+$4) but it was crispy and delicious. would recommend for gluten free pizza. the service was really good, our waiter was attentive and very knowledgeable about our menu. i appreciated him helping us decide what we wanted to drink when we didn't know ourselves haha. also really loved the outdoor seating as the weather was beautiful. read more

We came here during happy hour to get their $10 pizza and select pastas. We were seated outside. I ordered the sausage pizza (Salciccia) which had delicious sausage, mushrooms, and big chunks of onions. My boyfriend got the penne ala vodka. The waiter did not bring us the complimentary bread which I was very disappointed about. I saw many tables around us getting it but I guess he just forgot about us. The pizza was WAY too cheesy. I couldn't even pick up a slice without dragging cheese 2 ft into the air. After taking a bite I felt like I was just chewing gummy cheese for 3 minutes. And there was barely any tomato sauce. Not enough to balance it out. The bottom crust looks nice and charred /crispy but don't be fooled. The pizza was floppy and hard to eat because the cheese just weighed it down. My boyfriend said he would rather have papa johns. The sauce on the pasta was amazing! However, the pasta itself was way overcooked. It was so soft that it was tearing and falling apart off the fork just from picking it up. I also asked for a side of pesto to go with my pizza and he charged me $1.75 for the little cup without even letting me know. Within a few minutes of getting seated there was a long wait to be seated so we were really glad we got here when we did. We tried Amici and the Amigos food looked really good as well. I'm assuming you could eat at both if you are there. I ordered the chicken Bellagio and the waiter said my man when I ordered it so I knew I had gotten the right thing. There is a lot to be said about this restaurant. Starting off the location is very nice, it is right on 30A so it is very easy to spot and also there are many other places around it that are good too. The place is mostly open air and with the Florida weather it's usually a good temperature. There is also an open grass area by it which usually has some bands playing and is great for kids playing around. Next, the food. Some of the best Italian I've ever had. For the appetizer we got some Brussels sprouts which were good even though Brussels sprouts aren't really my thing and also we got a giant mozzarella stick. This thing is the pièce de résistance of the meal. There's so much cheese oozing out of it when you cut it along with the marinara sauce that is just a heavenly combo. For the entree I shared an order of vodka rigatoni, vodka gnocchi, and lasagne with some other people. First, the gnocchi, I would say compared to the other two this one was the worst which is hard to say considering this one was so good. The gnocchi was very soft and felt like a small pillow. The lasagne was also a hit, very cheesy and delicious. But, the best one was definitely the vodka rigatoni, there were shrimps on top of it and it paired so nicely with the vodka sauce. However my family and I went here, and there was not only delicious GF options for me, but my whole family loved it. The GF pasta and "bread" for the burrata tasted amazing, and this was one of the best gluten free meals I have had.
