Delicious! Came while in the area on vacation; our server was very kind and helpful, and suggested great options! We ordered a few items and shared; my favorite thing the pepperoni pizza with basil, super delicious and fresh! The ambiance was somewhat casual but still nice; would definitely recommend if/when in the area

What a really pretty restaurant off 98 near Rosemary. If you want some delish Italian and quick, they have solid food. I love our server Camilla. She smiled from start to end! Also, they have a lunch menu...not sure if daily, but perfect portion! ChowChow Time!

Amici is such a gem. Semi-upscale vibes, an actually great happy hour, and $11 pizzas that taste way more expensive than they cost. Huge shoutout to Ivan for the top-tier service -- friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. We ordered our pizzas extra crispy (10/10 move) and tried the parmesan crust -- crispy was perfect, but the parm crust had very limited flavor and didn't add much. The free fresh bread at the table is a power move and dangerously good. Great food, great energy, great service -- this is the kind of place you keep in your regular rotation

    Again. Happy hour

Not a hidden gem any longer. Have been coming here since they first opened and had decided to try their happy hour. Amazing. This isn't the cheap, minimized version of other places. Excellent pizzas, excellent meatballs and excellent service. You have the option of sitting inside, outside, at the bar or captain's table. Location is right off of BBR (IYKYK) and there are quant shops around the area to walk off those calories. If there was one area to improve would be the bathroom. The Italian side only has one of each and the line can get long.

Had higher expectations and unfortunately was disappointed. Came here to celebrate my bachelorette trip. They do not take reservations (I knew). So went to early dinner (4:30 pm) knowing this and they seemed to have such a hard time to sit our group of 13. Wouldn't recommend coming here for a large group despite the fact they do have a lot of space. Waitress didn't communicate well- they only split into 3 checks per table but acted like we were supposed to know this before waitress brought a single check for each (large) table... just wasn't a great experience, we were sat in the August sun and were sweating so hard it was difficult to enjoy. Drinks could have been refilled quicker with the sun beaming on us. The happy hour fettuccine dish was gross due to the sauce was super watery. Most of the other food was great (meatballs, mozzarella stick, vodka pasta, fettuccine Alfredo).

Fantastic food, cool atmosphere. Service was good and fast and the bread was great. Finance bro DJ was also a fun addition to the evening!

My daughter, her friend, her friend's mother, and I voted to have Italian fare for a dinner. Amici's was well-recommended and did not disappoint! We split up our orders and shared--two pizzas: Margarita and pepperoni, a foot long ravioli roll, a caprese and a Caesar salad, and Lily's Chicken dish. All was tasty and nicely cooked (I thought both of the pizzas were rather charred but everyone else thought it was fine). Mr. Khongor was very attentive and double-checked everything for onion content (I am allergic to onions). The only thing I thought was strange was that he never asked us if we wanted anything to drink other than the ice waters he brought us. But he did refill those glasses. He totally was attentive and pleasant. I never saw the inside decor but it was probably lovely. All-in-all, very nice!

Yummy. I was able to get the parm crusted chicken as the piccata and that's my favorite combo! My guest was happy to have gluten free pizza. The chocolate cake was amazing - so rich and delicious! Overall service was fine and interior is cute. I'd definitely return for lunch.

We got pizza and salad to go after a long day on the beach. Ordering was easy, the wait was not long, the prices were fair and most importantly the pizza was very good. We got a couple of Amy's salads and they were great. The meatball pizza was the favorite of the group and we were all surprised at the buffalo chicken. It had a great flavor and the buffalo sauce was not overpowering at all. I was a little disappointed we decided to get take out instead of dine in when I got there. The atmosphere looked great and super fun! I'm Looking forward to going back and dining in.

Best pizza we've had thus far on 30A and we've been coming here for over 15 years. Spaghetti is delicious also.

After a so-called "fine dining" restaurant completely failed to accommodate our party (with reservations), Hunt & Gather stepped in without hesitation and made our evening unforgettable. Our table ordered a little bit of everything, and every dish was outstanding -- elk burgers, baked fish, bolognese, filet mignon, and the quail quesadillas were all incredible. The lamb lollipops remain my absolute favorite, and the flash-fried Brussels sprouts were perfection. We also sampled all of the desserts, and not a single one missed the mark. Their beer and wine selection is fantastic as well, and the blackberry cider was especially delicious. A huge shoutout to our server, Paul, who was warm, attentive, and incredibly efficient. He seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even had to ask. If you're looking for consistently amazing food, excellent service, and a restaurant that truly knows how to take care of its guests, do yourself a favor and visit Hunt & Gather. I usually sit at the bar with David, who is hands down one of the best bartenders I've ever interacted with. The service and atmosphere always make the experience even better. I also really appreciate the exclusivity of the concept and the farm-to-table approach. It's clear that quality and intention are at the center of everything they do. The new bar next door for cocktails and appetizers while you wait to be seated is also an excellent touch and adds to the overall experience.

The setting itself feels authentic too as many Mediterranean restaurants feel like you're in someone's home. First The Menu Bait-and-Switch Their website menu and a customer-posted menu are identical both promise pita bread and tzatziki with entrees. We ordered based on that. When we called after getting home asking where these items were, they claimed it was "an old menu posted by a customer." Except their website/menu online says the same thing. Either fix your menus or stop lying to customers. The Portions were pathetic when told they were good sized and oh man the food was Flavorless! For $79 + tip, we got portions embarrassingly small. The grape leaves? Cold, wet, and bland could barely eat three. The rice was lifeless. The $37 "Fish of the Day" tilapia had ZERO flavor and no lemon even basic Mediterranean cooking demands lemon. The $30 salmon kabob was mediocre-sized and barely filling. Everything tasted like it was prepared with zero seasoning and zero effort and no soul. We had to season our own food at home. Our server was too busy with personal conversations to help properly. When handing us our to-go food, she literally said, "I didn't put gratuity on there but you guys can if you want" like she was doing us a favor by separating the hot items from the cold. We tipped anyway because we're good Samaritans when it comes to eating out. When we complained by phone, the response was hollow: "I'll let the Owner know to fix it" the only positive thing: Location is easy to find. That's literally it. The building is rundown, interior cramped with tables crammed together, decor is mediocre at best. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Better Mediterranean restaurants exist all over Destin. This is a cautionary tale of poor execution, dishonest practices, and staff that clearly doesn't care. 1/5 Stars - Never returning.

After roaming into a number of fun shops, we realized we were feeling up to a snack and drinks, and we happened across LaCo. The service and the food and drinks were good, and there was a nice ambiance to the place, too. The four of us immediately were seated at a bar during happy hour in the early afternoon when there were only a few people there. In fact, other than two people just leaving when we arrived, we were the only ones at the bar until just before we left. We arrived on a weekday afternoon just as happy hour was starting. Happy Hour prices included $2 off select wines and their house margarita, $1 off bottled beer, and discounted priced appetizers. My wife and I shared an order of Salsa Roja which included charred tomato salsa served with house friend chips. One of our friends ordered some blackened chicken wings, and both of our friends ordered drinks. Everyone was happy with what we ordered. LaCo stands for Latin Coastal as it is considered "30A's Latin coastal kitchen" with Latin-inspired lunch and dinner dishes with a coastal twist. The restaurant is located between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach in Seacrest Beach. They operate on "beach time" and do not take reservations. Their published hours are daily from 11 AM to 9 PM with limited yet special priced happy hour menu from 3-5 PM and a full menu during the other times of the day. You can see their menu, photos, and more information about their restaurant as well as order online and sign up for news and updates at https://laco30a.com.
