Amici 30A is located in a charming shopping center that often features live music and a grassy area where families can sit to eat, play, listen to music, etc. Tonight we had the chicken parmigiana and calamari as an appetizer off of the small plates menu. The calamari was great! It featured banana peppers and a spicy dipping sauce. I enjoyed the crunch and texture of the calamari and would definitely recommend it. The chicken parmigiana was ok. It was like any chicken parm I've ever had but also lacked seasoning. It could've used some salt, pepper, garlic, etc. Overall we had a great dining experience. There was no wait. Service was quick and friendly. We also enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the atmosphere. I think many of the bad reviews come from visitors that expect fast, curated, and cheap dining experiences. I think more grace should be given for local restaurants during peak seasons. The food was genuinely very good, and everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. Unfortunately, getting to that point was far more frustrating than it needed to be. What surprised me most was the restaurant's refusal to let guests join a waitlist from their phone. In 2026, it feels incredibly outdated that you have to physically show up, be told the wait is close to an hour, and then either stand around in the Florida heat and humidity or hope you have somewhere else to go until your table is ready. It seems to lack an awareness of the overall guest experience. Many restaurants now allow you to join a waitlist online or through an app, making the wait far more convenient. This shopping center also doesn't offer much to do in the evenings, so asking guests to linger there for an hour feels especially inconvenient. By 5:15 p.m., we were already quoted nearly an hour wait for an indoor table. Fortunately, we had driven instead of riding our bikes, so we were able to run to the grocery store, unload our groceries at the condo, and return just in time. Had we been on bikes--as many visitors in the area are--we likely would have spent that entire hour simply waiting outside. Once inside, I couldn't help but notice the layout. There's a very large bar that sat mostly empty during our visit, along with another counter occupied by kitchen equipment that takes up a significant amount of floor space. It feels like the restaurant sacrifices a substantial amount of seating, which may contribute to the consistently long waits. They do offer tables in the breezeway, but I specifically requested indoor seating. After spending the entire day at the beach and pool, the last thing I wanted was to eat dinner in the same heat and humidity. There is a powerful fan outside, but it mostly circulates warm air. It's certainly better than no fan at all, but it doesn't make outdoor dining particularly comfortable during a Florida summer evening. The seating itself also wasn't very comfortable. The metal chairs have no cushions, and if you're wearing shorts or a skirt, they tend to get sticky and uncomfortable fairly quickly. The service was fine overall, but there were a few small misses that stood out because the experience had already started on a frustrating note. My Diet Coke was refilled several times, while my husband's water never was, which we found odd. I had also requested that my pizza be served without the drizzle on top, but it arrived with it anyway. Neither issue was a major problem on its own, but after the hassle of simply getting on the waitlist, there wasn't much room left for service mistakes. The food absolutely deserves praise--it was delicious, and we'd happily order it again. But the overall experience feels unnecessarily difficult. In 2026, it's hard to understand why this restaurant, and its affiliated restaurants, don't offer an online or mobile waitlist. That one change alone would dramatically improve the guest experience and make an already popular restaurant much easier to enjoy. read more

This is one of the few places I'd come to the beach and order something other than seafood. This was our second time eating here, and it definitely lived up to our first visit. We had a larger group, so the wait to be seated was a little longer, but they were very busy. Thankfully, there's a great outdoor area where you can relax, play cornhole, and hang out while you wait. The menu has something for everyone--from pizza for the kids to more upscale dishes--making it a great option for families or groups with different tastes. Everything we ordered was delicious, and we've never had a disappointing meal here. The service was excellent, and I'd especially recommend anything with the Alfredo sauce. Huge shoutout to Ivan for the top-tier service -- friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Not a hidden gem any longer. Have been coming here since they first opened and had decided to try their happy hour. Amazing. This isn't the cheap, minimized version of other places. Excellent pizzas, excellent meatballs and excellent service. You have the option of sitting inside, outside, at the bar or captain's table. Location is right off of BBR (IYKYK) and there are quant shops around the area to walk off those calories. If there was one area to improve would be the bathroom. So went to early dinner (4:30 pm) knowing this and they seemed to have such a hard time to sit our group of 13. My daughter, her friend, her friend's mother, and I voted to have Italian fare for a dinner. Amici's was well-recommended and did not disappoint! We split up our orders and shared--two pizzas: Margarita and pepperoni, a foot long ravioli roll, a caprese and a Caesar salad, and Lily's Chicken dish. All was tasty and nicely cooked (I thought both of the pizzas were rather charred but everyone else thought it was fine). Mr. Khongor was very attentive and double-checked everything for onion content (I am allergic to onions). The only thing I thought was strange was that he never asked us if we wanted anything to drink other than the ice waters he brought us. But he did refill those glasses. The food at best, is maybe 4.5. Some of the staff are extraordinarily friendly and kind. Then, others are incompetent and lazy. I've witnessed firsthand a few of the workers trying to wash off tables and lift heavy trays of food while others stand around doing absolutely nothing while customers wait for tables to be cleaned off. This place is in a prime location, but it doesn't measure up to comparable standards other restaurants in it's vicinity do. I've heard that mgmt. truly lack adequate experience to run a operation such as this. They take advantage of the harder working younger employees while allowing others to slack off and do nothing. It makes for a disjointed, mediocre vibe due to the inability for the staff to work together as a team. Go anywhere but here when you come to 30A. This place just isn't worth the cost. Even with the horrible work environment, if the food was great, I'd have to give more stars. But when the food is so mediocre AND the ppl running the show run a sloppy unethical operation, it's best to take your business elsewhere. read more

We got pizza and salad to go after a long day on the beach. Ordering was easy, the wait was not long, the prices were fair and most importantly the pizza was very good. We got a couple of Amy's salads and they were great. The meatball pizza was the favorite of the group and we were all surprised at the buffalo chicken. We have been there twice, and both times, we were disappointed. On my first visit, I had the chicken piccata. It really didn't have much flavor. The chicken was overdone. The sauce, which is supposed to be lemon caper butter, tasted mostly like oil and overwhelmed the overall taste. I doubt there was much butter. Oil is cheaper, so...? On our second visit, I tried the pizza. It was okay, but nothing to brag about. The pepperoni was sparse, the cheese thin, and the flavor bland. On top of this, it is VERY loud. The restaurant is nothing more than a bar with seating placed around it. It is a hollow shell inside, and the noise carries and reverberates throughout. They have metal chairs that scrape the concrete floors obnoxiously loudly whenever anyone moves them. Not much for the ambiance. They have tried placing tennis balls on the legs of the chairs, but most are missing, and the remaining ones are worn out. As with most restaurants today, they are pricey. I don't mind paying for a truly good meal, but I gave them two shots, and they were below par on both visits. We thought of trying their sister eatery next door, which is Mexican, but after this experience, we opted to pass. read more

This place really over delivered for our night on the beach! While it was crowded and the seating was a little uncomfortable it would be hard not to recommend this place if you're in 30A and looking for Italian. The group we were with originally was interested in the Fried Ravioli which was HUGE and fried perfectly. The Calamari appetizer was a TON of food and the aioli was nice and spicy. The spicy olive oil pasta was executed perfectly, impressive and tasty would order again. Ok... now here is where I got a little weird, the non-pizza menu is small and I started to get curious. The Chicken Parm can come with 3 sauces, unless you go off script and order the SPICY Vodka sauce, and I need to explain to you that you MUST do this if you even like spicy Italian at all. The chicken was cooked well, the portions were large, but the Spicy Vodka Sauce was the winner here, I know this combo is not technically on the menu and I hope the place doesn't hold it against me for recommending but it was a winner. I did not get our servers name but she was very nice and very fast and didn't make me feel bad for ordering a little out of left field!
