I scheduled for Monday and couldn't be happier with the results. Fantastic experience. I'm in Miami Beach for just a few days and I was in desperate need of a haircut. Legon cut my hair and gave me the best experience I have had in a barber shop in my whole life. I even tried to explain that to him in my not-so-great Spanish. The shop has a Latino staff of barbers, but there was a mix of customers from different cultures in there, so anybody should feel comfortable, even if you're not Latino. The shop was extremely clean. All the clippers used were perfectly sharp, so each pass was gentle and I didn't have the blades pull a single hair they whole time I was in Legon's chair. I'd highly recommend Legon. He asked me how I wanted my cut to look and checked in a few times during the process. He took his time and was very precise with the shears and liners as well. I feel like he used every technique a great barber should use to make a guy look his best. Oh, and also important: we chatted a bit and he was friendly, but he didn't talk my ear off. I HATE when barbers do that. If you need a great cut, give AMICI a shot. read more

Shocked that this place doesn't have more reviews! When I went in, the place had a busy atmosphere. Lots of people were getting their hair cut but I got service right away without having to wait. This place is clean, air conditioned, quiet (without being too quiet), and just a pleasant environment. It's a terribly poor run place. You walk in, no one acknowledges you. Even when they finish a haircut they don't make eye contact, take names, etc. Even when you make an appointment days in advance, they don't give a fuck. This place did me dirty tonight.. I had about an hour and a half in between my jobs. Plenty of time to get a hair cut. Stopped in and asked if they take walk ins.. all the barbers working nod their heads yes. I proceed to sit there for the next hour watching each and every barber take appointment after appointment?!? If there was no opening then just say there is no openings tonight! There are other barbers on Alton road. 2 of the barbers finished customers and left their chairs empty for 15-20 minutes waiting for their next appointment. Finally left out of there 20 minutes before closing and the start of my job with no hair cut. I watched about 7 other people get theirs done so I'll leave a review for them.. average at best.. typical cholo fades and shape ups, nothing special.. go somewhere else.. these guys are rude af.. no English speakers either. smh what a joke.. read more

Far from the best cut I've had. What kind of barber doesn't use scissors? If I wanted a buzz cut I would have gone to Top Cuts or some other horrible chain. The barber smelt of marijuana and barely spoke English. He butchered the back of my neck with a straight razor and it still burns. At the very least I'm less hot walking around with this shorter than expected cut and the prices weren't outrageous! I would not go back and I would not recommend anyone go here. read more

If you're looking for a great cut and shave/clean-up on the beach then this is the spot. All the barbers do a great job, I go with Mayito but from what I've seen you can't go wrong here. Mayito takes his time to make sure he understands what you want and is very detailed. They offer hot shaves too which are awesome, hot towel, exfoliation, the whole 9. Parking can be challenging as they are located in a strip mall in busy SoBe, so be ready to deal with that. The prices are moderate $20-35 depnding on the services you request, I actually think it's cheap compared to junior&hartter where a haircut alone is $45. Anyway, the babershop is always very clean and if you make an appointment you usually don't have to wait more that 15 minutes. Definately recommended! read more
