It's been a few months since I've had any Italian food. And, it's been 3 years + since I've had Eggplant Parmigiana. So, being Sunday, and after a couple of somewhat disappointing dinners, I decided to have Biba's delivered by KNG Delivery. I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana dinner, with Spaghetti (Garden Salad w/ Blue Cheese Dressing, 2 Garlic Rolls). The Salad greens and cucumber (1 thick piece) were crisp. But, the cucumber was bitter. The 1 thick piece of Tomato was ripened nicely. Also, the dressing was very good. But, because it was so thick, I feel thathe 1, 2 oz container wasn't enough. The Garlic Rolls, because of being wrapped in foil, were still quite warm. But, I would have liked a bit more garlic on 'em. Unfortunately, I found the spaghetti, and the sauce to be somewhat on the bland side. But, the Eggplant was seasoned nicely. And, there's enough for 2 dinners. 8-) I had planned to order Tiramisu for dessert. But, I forgot. :-( So, I settled for some leftover German Chocolate Cake. Used to be great but has been sliding for a bit now. I like to get the stuffed pizza every couple of weeks for the family, but it's less and less stuffed each time. Had dinner there last evening. We have frequented several Bibas which we have enjoyed but last night was a disappointment. We asked for a basket of rolls to be told that 2 came with each meal and that we would be charged if we ordered a basket. Ok I ordered a basket even though the Bibas in Chattanooga just brings rolls and keeps them coming. The dishes with marinara had very little sauce when my wife requested additional sauce she was asked what size 4oz or 8oz as the at the way they sold sauce. My wife's eggplant was way overcooked. Salads were also a bit small. I guess they are having issues as they are no longer open for lunch due to lack of staff. We will continue to support the Chatanooga location but Milledgeville location was most disapointing. read more

Tried ordering online but called just to see if they got my order. I had to called and place the order and when I got there the total was more than what was online. Ordered veal parmesan. Meat was spoiled. Called it to management attention. They did not apologize, but removed the dish and told me they were sorry it was not to "my liking". Seriously? The meat was literally rotten. All four of us at the table witnessed the situation. They "replaced" my dinner with lasagna. Brought the dinner check, and whereupon I told them that I was not paying for the lasagna. It should be comped. Shortly received a telephone call from the owner, Anna, who not only did not apologize for the situation, but argued with me about whether the meat was spoiled, even though she wasn't on-premises. She told me that I would have to pay for the replacement meal since it "was to my liking". Third time in two weeks that I have eaten at Bibas Italian. Each time I got different entrées and all were amazing the first night I got calamari Fra Diavolo, the second night I got Zuppa di Pesce and the third night. no Shrimp Fra Diavolo. All three of my entrées were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The side salads were nice, but really put icing on the Italian is the rolls that they give you. We have received great service all three times twice with Trevor and a third gentleman whose name escapes me. One night I had a calamari appetizer that was crispy and delicious. On our second trip, we got to meet Ana who was walking around the restaurant interacting with the customers in a real old time traditional Italian fashion. we have several friends who have committed to going, so I see us experiencing this gem again fairly soon! read more

Our party of 5 was seated quickly. The server was friendly and efficient. The person who seated us seemed to be enjoying her job and was nicely engaging. The food was excellent. Three had their favorite lasagna, one had a gnocchi special and I had the spaghetti with pesto and basil. Everyone loved the meal. I took some of mine home and had to have it for breakfast! This is my favorite spot in Milledgeville. Italian food is great because they use lots of garlic and spice. Service is usually fast unless you go on the hot times of the week such as Friday and Saturdays. They managed their way through Covid quite well and I witnessed strict cleanliness habits with the staff. The restaurant is managed quite well and they have high standards in all regards. I have eaten at Bibas many times and have always liked what I ordered. However tonight I ordered the crab ravioli and did not like it at all. I had eaten half a ravioli and the waitress asked if I liked it and I said I did not. The manager came over and told me it was a popular dish and that I was the only person who did not like it. I felt uncomfortable with this exchange and I told her I was not complaining and only told the waitress because she noticed I did not eat the dish and ask me if I liked it. They took half off but they should have taken the entire amount for the that item. I am giving the two stars based on how the situation was handled. I will not be going back. read more

Ordered pasta with meat sauce, the meat sauce was so thick and smelled like dog food literally, informed the waitress it was not edible. The owner came to the table and told us that was a low blow. No professionalism and needless to say will not be returning in the future due to the rude owner. We paid for the food and tipped the waitress well, she was sweet! I don't give this restaurant any stars. Tastes like chef boyadee. Sent order back after I took one bite, I couldn't stomach it. Was nasty. Told waitress I wasn't paying for it and management came and said I asked you how you like it and I told her the food was not seasoned properly. She basically said tough and made us pay $40 some dollars for two meals. I ate 3 unseasoned store bought mozzarella sticks and rolls. Sent salad back as well. Should have left food and walked out. Every other restaurant would have apologized and took it off your bill. She can't take our money to hell with her. She ended talk with conversation over. That was not authentic italian food. Left rest of my husband's entree that he only took few bites of. My husband and I cook real italian from scratch and I would win in a show down. I have to say I'm a fan of Bi Ba's, just wish it was closer in town. So far I've tried a couple of their pasta dishes and 2 of their specialty pizzas; which were all enjoyable. They also have a full bar and an ok selection of beer, would be nice if they got more craft beers in. Service has always been great from the hostesses to the waitstaff to the bartender. read more

Excellent customer service and delicious food!! My husband ordered a "made to order" Calzone and loved every bite! The portions were more than adequate and the prices are perfect! I ordered Chicken Florentine and was delighted by the lightness of the sauce while still being cheesy but not at all oily! This is our absolute favorite Italian restaurant. My wife is from New York, I went to college there so this is saying a lot.
