First time stopping in and discovered a new favorite pizza spot. The pizza was good and we enjoyed being able to eat something other than just the norms like pepperoni pizza. I enjoyed the variety and being able to enjoy Artisan Pizzas, the salads were huge and tasty. The grands enjoyed their meals and look forward to making their own pizza in the future! We left with multiple left overs and stuffed. The staff was friendly but forgot a few items and we had to ask several times to get them. The place is busy and small, so seating is at a premium and hard to find during busy lunch and dinner times. Ambiance is loud but doable. read more

I ordered a large pepperoni pizza for pickup, paid my tab, brought it home, and it was cheese only. I called back and she told me I only ordered a plain cheese pizza (I never order cheese only). In a very rude tone she asked "What do you want? You want to pickup a new pepperoni pizza?" and I said yes, thinking they were remaking it to make the order correctly. When my husband arrived, they charged him for an entire new pizza. Extremely extremely disappointing customer service. And the pizza was greasy and flavorless. read more

So we have been coming here for over a year mostly on Thursdays for pizza with the family. The pizzas are usually good, we like the cauliflower crust and the special wine night prices they had on Thursdays. So a few weeks ago, they added a service charge for credit card transactions which I rarely see at sit down restaurants. We're part of their rewards program and normally earn rewards for our dinners and apply to get a discount. Today we come in and they raised the wine from $9 to $12.5, on top of I look at the menu and ask if they raised the prices and they dodge my question but I see all prices about $3 more. Our bill just went from around $70 after applying rewards to $90 today and they tell me their new system won't let me earn or apply rewards. Last week we spent over $100 and lost the discount from that! Then their new system tries to add a 20% tip automatically today what??!! Overall a rude way to raise prices in every single way possible all at once! Then on top of that this summer the AC hardly works and it's sweltering inside! No thank you, we won't be back and they lost a loyal family!!! read more

In the area running some errands and found this little gem on Yelp. I'm not a big NY style pizza guy and, as best that I could tell, that's the style here. Instead, the crust was crispy and easily held up the topping. Totally blown away by the pizza we got. It's "order at the counter" so not much service interactions, but when we did, they were friendly and wanted to make sure your visit was a good one. Nice looking place, well lit, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Compact space but efficiently laid out. Food brought to you but you're expected to bus your own dishes. read more

Oh yes it's ladies night and the feelings right! Yes it's ladies night oh what a night! Are you singing now? Good. Then you'll remember that ladies night is every Thursday (I don't know what time specifically but I try to get here around 8ish.) They serve beer and even better, wine on tap at discounted prices on Thursday. Along with the discounted alcohol, they have certain apps and pizzas on special as well. The prosciutto and goat cheese with arugula is my favorite. Since it's baked in a wood fire oven, the prosciutto gets crispy and is reminiscent of crispy bacon. The dough is cooked perfectly and always comes out the right texture, and never burnt like some wood fire places do. The pasta fagioli soup has a hint of sour to it but it's a pleasant sour almost like the lime added in a Thai soup or lemon in a Greek avgolemono soup. I always finish my meal off with the cannoli which has a rich sweet ricotta filling and a good crunchy shell. The place is clean and I love how they provide all the pizza necessities on the counter: red pepper flakes, parmesean, extra plates, and to go boxes for your left overs. I never have to wait to ask for these things which is super convenient with how busy they can get. They have outdoor seating and ample parking. A nice little place with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu has pizza and various pasta dishes. You can even get pizza by the slice if you want. There are also bottles of soda, beer, a soda fountain and some wine as well. The place is very clean and well maintained. It is the type of place where you place your order at the counter and they will bring it to your table. Our first time here we ordered a large pizza which came to the table in a timely fashion. The good news is the pizza was really good. In my opinion it is a thin crust and stiff enough where you can pick up the entire slice with no issue and not have it flopping about. Staff was very helpful in recommending delicious appetizers and entrees. Must try garlic parmigiana wings with fresh homemade garlic butter. let's talk pizza and how it should be served.. if i order a slice the counter person should be able to take the slice from the freshly made pie and serve not have to wait 10 minutes for someone working the oven to cut it and serve it. received my slice, should've taken longer, absolute trash, the dough had no taste, sauce was non existent, luckily they don't claim to do "NY Style" otherwise i would have tossed back over the counter. read more

I was in the mood for a great pizza. Having grown up in Phila, it is hard to find a competitive pizza in all of Florida so having to temper expectations is the name of the game. I found Santelli to be on the better side of good but not the best. The cheese and sauce are balanced well, but the crust just isn't the best. It's not sift but not crispy. If you reheat at home you will find it crispy. I might also state that the mushrooms are skimpy. You may find you need a magnifying glass to find them on part of your pie. All that said I rate this a 3.5 which is good for a Fla pizza. read more

So excited Santelli is open! I ordered two pizzas for takeout on a weekday for lunch and they were ready in the estimated 15-20 minute time frame. We ordered the Sicilia pizza topped with breaded eggplant and roasted garlic, and a plain cheese pizza for the kids. The Sicilia was great! The cheese was creamy and the garlic packed a punch of flavor. I may add oregano or pepper next time to give it a tiny bit more flavor, but that's just due to the subtle flavors of mozzarella and ricotta. The cheese pizza was good but it might have been cooked a couple seconds or minutes too long as it was a little crispier than the eggplant pizza. I was excited to try this restaurant but I was a little disappointed. I ordered a pasta dish and my husband ordered a pizza. They brought my pasta out about 15 minutes before his pizza - so we ended up sharing the pasta. It didn't come with a side salad, just a piece of boring white bread - not garlic or toasted or anything. The pasta was delicious - but it wasn't hot. It was room temperature. My husband finally received his pizza and it was pretty good, but pretty basic. The thing I liked the least was the ambience. It's a cold, stark atmosphere. The chairs are hard and loud as they scratch across the black and white tile floor. The tables are too close to one another. We were the only ones in there at first and several tables hadn't been bussed so there were only a few open. The floors still had food on them and there was sausage from a pizza on the window sill. You have to order at the counter and they bring your food to you. It was very pricey for not being a nice sit down restaurant. It felt dirty and loud and when another family came in they were so close to us. Their child was loud and had a phone on watching cartoons loudly as well. Again, tables are too close together. Think of Chipotle's atmosphere...industrial, unfinished ceiling with air ducts. If you are looking for a nice, romantic little bistro for an Italian dinner...this isn't it. Now this is a business I love to support. Every time, I mean every time I go to this restaurant I have great service. This is a order at the front counter and then your food will be delivered to you type of restaurant. Not a specifically assigned waiter or waitress. From the front counter to the people who deliver the food to your table as well as the cooks behind the counter everyone is friendly and helpful. The pizza is always on point crispy on the bottom. Chewy crust on the inside just enough cheese not to make it overly gooey. Cesar salad is fantastic and homemade chocolate chip cookies are always a hit. When it was brought to us, we were not giving any silverware. We had to go inside to get our own plastic ware. I asked the server for regular silverware, and he said it was all dirty. Ordered out on a Saturday night at 4 pm. Very friendly service on the phone. Pizzas took a very reasonable 25 minutes to prepare. Inside the shop is clean and open. Service on arrival very friendly and attentive. We ordered a quattro carne and build your own pepperoni, peppers, and olives. Both pizzas were hot, with fresh, good quality ingredients. All in our party were pleased with the product. I don't live here but I suspect the folks I was visiting will return. I recommend you give it a try. read more
