As someone who grew up in Lafayette Hill, Amici vicinato (formerly Tonelli's) is one of my all time favorite takeout spots.

Recently, The Godfather of Meat did a keen review and video, in which everything looked awesome. It took us about 45 minutes from Emmaus, and it was worth the trip. House made roasted beef with the house gravy on a sensational Kaiser roll -- was what we came for and they delivered! Piled high and fresh with provolone cheese. This is the best beef sandwich I have had in decades. Simple quality at its finest! This has quickly become my gold standard classic beef sandwich. The "Matt Fries", were interesting and completely unique: fresh crispy fries topped with generous black pepper, old bay seasoning, Parmesan cheese and Turkey gravy. It worked! We enjoyed them and the large portion was more than enough for 2-3 people. Steph Rush very much enjoyed the mussels in red sauce -- another generous portion, served with was bread. I had an order of the cold shrimp , which is weekends only. Fresh, cooked perfectly and extra horseradish in the cocktail sauce by request. We were overjoyed with what we ordered and I love they have birch beer on tap, my favorite! The joint was packed and busy, our waitress had her hands full in her section. We are looking forward to a return trip ! #rushieeats

Where the stars are lacking for me is on cleanliness amd attention to detail. Mozzarella sticks were cold in the middle. Tables and chairs need to be wiped down better. The table condiment holders were not very clean.

This review is for delivery only. My daughter and I were…read morelooking for another place to try some good Asian food. We decided to step out on faith and try Lucky Star Asian Cuisine. Delivery was on time and food arrived warm. We decided to try the General Tso's Chicken/ w brown rice, which was pretty good. It was sweet and spicy. The chicken was good, moist and flavorful. 8/10 We also got the Hawaiian Chicken. It wasn't what I was expecting. It was fried chicken breast sitting on a bed of lettuce, fruit/a few pineapple chunks and cherries. It came with a sweet and sour sauce. By everything being separated in the dish, there was no infusion of flavor, which made it dry and uneventful. I wouldn't get this again. 5/10. We also got the Crab Rangoon (cheese & crabmeat inside). These did not transport well. They seems wilted and probably need to be eaten soon after taken from cooking. Plus they were very stingy on the cheese and crab inside. 4/10. Spring rolls too, as a appetizer. They were just ok! Again, just needed more inside the roll. 4/10 By this being my first time trying this restaurant it may get a better review if I visited. So hopefully I'll do that in the future .

The place was so dark that we had a hard time reading the menu. They brought dry, crunchy noodles for the table with this sweet and spicy sauce for free. The spicy sauce was really good. We ended up getting egg and spring rolls, pork fried rice, wonton and hot and sour soup, and shrimp with broccoli and carrots. The soups were comparable to most Chinese take out places. I really liked the wonton soup. The egg and spring rolls were pretty basic. Honestly, I would have preferred going to the shady Chinese corner shop that had bullet proof glass surrounding the cashier. The shrimp with broccoli with carrots was pretty basic as well. Again, I think the corner store Chinese shop makes it better. At the end of our meal we did get some tasty oranges and a fortune cookie. My fortune cookie response wasn't even fully written on the paper.

What really makes it unique is the fact that you can place your food order and then go grab a craft brew in a plastic cup and then walk back to get your food. Or, if you prefer to bring your food to the bar area, you can do that too. We had a hankering for burgers and wanted to give Lucky's a try. I'm glad we did and it was an enjoyable experience. We ordered a share basket of fries which were perfectly cooked crinkle fries. They had ketchup available as well. We each got a burger, one classic and one Oklahoma style which had two patties. The classic had more of a Kaiser roll whereas the Oklahoma had a potato bun. The meat was fresh, not frozen and cooked nicely on a flat top. The onions on the Oklahoma were sliced incredibly thin but for some reason were not soft enough to bite through (my only disappointment). It's easy to find as the doorway is right down from Rita's on Ridge Avenue. Give it a try!
