Rude middle age male wont even look at you & acts like you are bothering him ordering food , had a chicken cheese steak , he made it on old roll & cook it to the point was dry as cardboard , no sauce or fried onions that i asked for , what a ignorant person to do that & a waste of money . This was my first and last time here. I ordered two slices of cheese pizza The guy who took my order, grabbed the two slices with his bare hands! He did not sanitize his hand, or use gloves. I don't know if this is the general practice at this place, but that's disgusting. I paid for the pizza, I went to my car, and decided to just throw it in the trash. I tried to rationalize and say you know what, maybe the heat will kill some of the germs, but it wasn't in the oven that long and I just was visually turned off, so I threw the two slices of pizza in the trash. I don't mind bare hands, with my food, but I don't know what he was doing with his hands prior to handling my food. I used to work in a kitchen, and we had to wash our hands after we touch anything. Secondly, they have deals where you can get pizza and a drink or whatever it may be for a flat fee. My food irene came up to $7 even. PA sales tax is 6.5%... so even if I apply the higher sales tax of 7.2%, it still doesn't equal my bill... so I think I was ripped off. read more

Outstanding mushroom pizza. I stopped in after running errands. I had never been here before because I'm not quite local. The crust was crispy at the edge, but not hard. The undercrust was so incredibly thin, but did not collapse. There was ample cheese with excellent pull and there were mushrooms in every bite. I haven't had such delicious pizza in years. When I get back to the Plymouth Meeting area, I'm going to make a point to stop in again and take home a whole pizza. read more

Tried the plain cheese pizza - same as others, not thin east coast style crust, way too much cheese and salt compared to red sauce, but still tastes quite good. Wings are pretty nice too, although they don't toss in the host sauce and don't give ranch or bleu cheese. Note, they do a 4% credit card fee and no one there smiles or makes you feel welcome. So I walked in at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, January 8 and wanted to take a look at the leftover pizza slices out. The guy with the curly hair/ mullet look immediately storms up to me and says can I help you. I told him I just needed a moment to look before I made up my mind. What does he do? Stares at me the entire time without even blinking as I look around. It was so uncomfortable and ignorant I just walked out. Here's a tip to the owner to tell your staff- don't stare at customers impatiently while they decide what they want to order, that's bad business and stupidity on top of that. Got off the highway searching for something to eat. We stumbled upon this gem. Selection was outstanding as was the freshness. Price was very reasonable too. This will be our stop going forward instead of the toll plaza pizza. They probably had a dozen of pies to choose from for slices. Great for picky kids. read more

I had spaghetti and meatballs, my husband had spaghetti with mushrooms and both were delicious. Spiced appropriately, not too salty, and with a fresh tomato flavor. Each also came with a salad. After having tried many of the area's establishments, I would say Ill Illiano's is my favorite. So let's run down the list of positives: 1. Pizza is well cooked and flavorful! Each aspect, the cheese, the sauce, and the dough are all good tasting on their own and work well together. 2. Our order was ready quickly. We called ahead and said "15 minutes", which it was. No waiting, no cold pizza... 3. Friendly and helpful staff. I was with my Father in Law who asked for a pie after ours was ready. They quickly got our order together within minutes. Great customer service! Really for me, I would prefer the crust a bit thinner to be a 5 Star review but that's me splitting hairs. My family and I have lived in Conshy for over 30 years and this is our "Go To" Italian Restaurant!! They sponsor local school and community sports teams as well as township events. Illiano's has a Party Special that is huge!!! You get 1 large cheese pizza, 1 large cheesesteak , 1 (8) piece order of chicken wings and a 2 liter bottle of soda! This feeds my family of 4 for 2 days!! :) My husband and I love their Baked Ziti. It is loaded with cheese and just the right amount of sauce. Their prices are excellent. This is my favorite "authentic Italian pizza slice" in the Philadelphia area. I know this is a BOLD statement, especially since I call myself a pizza snob. This is truly Italian pizza as all the owners/most workers speak Italian. They always have a wide variety of options for pizza by the slice. I have only ordered by the slice, but a full plain pie is next on my To Do list! For slices, I have tried plain, pepperoni, cheesesteak, tomato peppers, and margarita! All have been delicious, tanking with pepperoni as my favorite to cheesesteak as my least (I think I prefer my cheesesteaks separate from my pizza ). Overall, if you enjoy cheese and a good sauce I would HIGHLY recommend trying this place. It all began when I walked out of a meditation center this evening...and caught scent of a residence making Italian dinner. Well, I was now in the mood for authentic Italian! I happened to read great reviews for III Illiano and decided to try it myself. It's the best pizza shop I have found since moving to this area 2 years ago! I walked in and the vibe was awesome. The customers looked happy and the gentlemen at the counter were cordial and joked with me. Italian accents too! Then, I looked at the slices and I was sold!! I ordered the most delicious slice of cheese pizza with sweet sausage. My photo shows half of a slice because I ate the other half so quickly...while I waited for a calzone that I ordered with ham and cheese to go. I saw it made and it only took 20 minutes altogether. Attached is a photo of the large calzone with extra toppings for $13.00. Everyone loved the calzone at home! I can't wait to come back and try different foods. I saw someone order a cheesesteak with a side of fries and the portions were huge! I have already spread the word and will be back very soon. I should've taken a picture of the menu! I wanted to call in to order something so I could retreat back to my hotel to create a study bunker. (Guess who had to take her COMLEX PE the next morning? Yeah, that's right. This girl.) But alas, I wasn't thinking straight. So instead, you just get a review from me and a picture of my super-tasty sandwich. I read through the reviews here before I went and decided to go with the Chicken Parmigiana sandwich. The portions are very generous, but since I eat enough to feed a small family, I ate the whole thing in one sitting. It was super tasty. Best pizza in the area. We've tried pizza at almost every other place around us and we all agree Ill Illiano's tastes the best. The pizza shop itself is plain, poorly decorated and uninteresting, but we always get takeout, so it doesn't matter to us. The guys behind the counter are always super friendly to my kids and joke around. Normally they like just a plain pizza. I get grilled chicken and sausage on mine which sometimes is a hair underdone, not like in a undercooked kind of way, more like in a I like my chicken and sausage a little well to medium well cooked, a little charred if you will. That would be my only suggestion. Usually only takes them 15 minutes and the pizzas are ready to go. Enjoy! read more
