I'm a fan of Isaak and Steve's. If you've read my other reviews you know I work in Norristown Borough, and therefore I am well versed in the local cuisine. Well I'll tell you, Isaak and Steve's is a great spot. One, the service is top notch. Two, they have some excellent items on the menu. The store is owned by Greeks, and it follows that they make a mean gyro sandwich. It's very good for the price. They also have top-notch chicken cheeseteaks... I recommend the buffalo chicken cheesesteak, but I have an associate that frequently gets the BBQ Bacon chicken cheesesteak and swears by that. Their standard cheesesteaks aren't bad but they are a little heavy on the black pepper for my taste. The pizza is not so good, and the fries are average. In addition, Isaak and Steve's is smack in the middle of the West Marshall business district, an area that can get a little rough from time to time. However, this is offset by the great hours, because few decent places to eat in Norristown are open past 9pm, except for Isaak and Steves. So in conclusion, Isaak and Steve's gets my vote as a quality place to eat, just stick to the gyros and chicken cheesesteaks! read more

Will never order from here again. They forgot our dessert, which I might've been okay w/, had the girl not been so rude when I called for a refund. Worse than that though, they spilled the buffalo sauce from our wings all over the rest of our order. No hot sauce on our soggy (when we asked for well-done) wings, but all over our fries & cheesesteak. The girl in the phone was rude as all get out. I politely suggested they find a better way to transport their wings. She did not seem to appreciate my input, & she certainly didn't give a crap. And they had some other driver stop by and give me $2.50 in cash for the undelivered cheesecake rather than crediting my cc. I get you're busy on Friday, but that's the business. I've been eating here for 24 years. Even though I live in Collegeville with 20 pizzerias within a two mile radius I will drive to Norristown..they have the best chicken tenders and the best honey mustard sauce I've ever had. The whole fried chicken wings with sauce on the side is the best way to order for delivery. Keeps the wings crisp! Chicken cheesesteaks are actually marinated chicken breasts not frozen chipped meat. Pizza is nice and crispy with real cheese!! Salads are made with Romaine lettuce not chunks of crappy yellowed iceberg lettuce like my local pizzerias. I will never stop eating here!! Love them!! Prices are affordable and food is fresh! Fried seafood platters are excellent. No soggy freezer burnt shrimp or flounder. French fries are thick but not those dry steak fries they serve around here. Cheesesteaks aren't soggy dripping with water like some local places and the meat is browned bringing out the flavor of the beef. Most of the time I get gray meat in my local places with no salt and pepper! You need to season meat!! They do! I watched them cook for 2 hours a day three days a week for 24 years. Trust me!! The staff is pleasant but the owener is rude and curses at customers when he has a disagreement. The food is also of not good quality. The people in the kitchen don't wear gloves and he has a fan over the food in the summer as they do not have air conditioning. The last cheesesteak I ate from here tasted rotten. Compared to most of the pizza places I've tried in the area, this is one of the better ones ive had. We ordered their 2 pizza special and 15 buffalo wings. The wings were freshly fried and seasoned well, but it was a little light on the sauce. I personally want crispy wings over soggy ones, so I was fine with it. The pizza was made with fresh toppings, and tasted good. Its not the best, but it is definitely better than most of the local places I tried. I will definetly be ordering from here again when I am craving pizza and wings. read more

I've been ordering from this "establishment" for years now, yes (shame on me). Not only is the customer service from the OWNER/operating manager Isaak the worse I've ever experience and (I've been in customer service hospitality for over 20years) but the food is poorly handled and the preparation station is awful! I ordered my father a cheeseburger and maggots, yes maggots were in the beef. And when I called to let management know and his response was "well just don't order from here again" Nice, thanks Issak, now I'm passing the message to you all. For your safety and for your families safety. Alternatively, we have Many other pizza shops in Norristown, La Roma Pizzeria, Primo Brick Oven Pizza, Rocco's Brick Oven Pizzeria, and Mama Venezia's Pizzeria just to name a few. I ordered food for my guests during a visit. It was good however the pizza made the people who ate it sick. Others arrived later and we avoided eating it to keep from also getting sick. I brought the food back the next day for a refund or to remake the order and was told to call in after 3. They ignored my calls all day and then sent me straight to voice mail. ISSAAK AND STEVES IS HORRIBLE!!!!!! They customer service is TERRIBLE! AND THEIR SLICES OF PIZZA ARE DISGUSTING!!! I have order from them several times and its really a hit or ALWAYS MISS with their pizza. They send out these little DRY slices the slices are so small its literally the size of a galaxy cell phone! I recently called to order their wing dings which are usually ok..... however for some reason every once in a while this guy answers the phone and he is COMPLETELY RUDE! He is the definition of RUDE! My thing is this I am spending money at your establishment a little bit of respect and customer service friendliness can go a long way! he always seems to be bothered when the phone rings, or that he doesn't want to work or be there. FIND ANOTHER JOB! He says he is the owner and he is ISAAK (maybe so) BUT!!!!! it doesn't hurt or cost anything to be polite!!!!! Any other time the lady answers the phone and she is very polite sometimes a little snappy but she is polite.
