We have been going to Vino's for many years and they aim to please. We normally get the Vegetable Sicilian Pizza. Also we love the Cheesesteak Stromboli and the Sicilian Pizza with half plain half Pepperoni. read more

Stopped by for two slices and ordered a pepperoni and plan slice. No complaints about the food itself or the service but was shocked by the price. It was extremely overpriced for what I ordered. Would not come back for that reason. read more

Good cheesesteak in the solid-not-great territory. If I'm being picky I'd say I would've liked the cheese a bit better distributed (it was packed on the bottom) and maybe a better roll. I got the cheesesteak special. It came with fried onions, green peppers, mushrooms, hot peppers and sauce. If you have read my reviews before you know I like it when the extras spend time on the grill together and get to know each other and blend their flavors. The extras on this Cheesesteak did not spend much time together. If you like big fresh, ungrilled vegetables on your Cheesesteak, then this is a Cheesesteak for you. The cheese could have been melted in a little better and if you're going to give me sauce give me sauce. Next time I am in this area and in the mood for thick crust pizza I will certainly stop in. read more

Ordered a roast beef hoagie. First the good: Positives: Roll was decent. Veggies were fresh and crisp. Meat to veggie ratio was good (not too much, not too little). Negatives: The roast beef itself had clearly either just been pulled from the freezer or was sitting at the bottom of the prep line because it was utterly freezing cold. Not only that, but you could taste the ice crystals within the roast beef itself. And this was after a 15 minute drive home. This of course made the roast beef flavorless. I will avoid the sandwiches here in the future. Apparently pizza is the way to go (if I'm reading the other reviews right). read more

Passing bye yesterday we decided to grab a quick pizza for an early dinner. I really enjoyed the pizza and it was above average. I think the crust was excellent as it was super thin and cooked well. The cheese and sauce were good but the thin crust made it great for me. I will say the grated Parmesan cheese was not the standard pizza shop cheese, it was really fresh and good. I will definitely try to go out of my way sometime soon to try the Stromboli. The Italian looks like it will make me very happy. It looks like it's been there awhile and could definitely use a remodel. read more

Surprised at the rating. This place is pretty mediocre, despite how busy they were when I picked up my order. I ordered a large plain pie, which was meh at best. Also ordered side of fries, salad, wings (which were fried and sauce-less), meatballs and onion rings. The best of these was the salad to be completely honest. Oh, and the food was cold even though I had to wait for my order another 10mins despite arriving on time. First and last time I order from here. These two brothers from Italy take tremendous pride in producing exceptional authentic, hot, delicious dishes making you feel like you are in Italy . Visited: Wednesday - January 21, 2015 - 11:30 My usual destination is the Wawa at the "Shops at Lafayette Hills". As I walked toward Wawa, a sign on an eating establishment announced "Soup's On". I quickly ventured inside. (I'll re-visit Wawa next week) To my surprise, pizza of every assortment was viewable through the display case. My eye immediately was diverted toward the Margherita pizza. My name was on it, so to speak, it spoke to Me, so I was "obligated " to order it. (I'll try the soup next week......after I re-visit Wawa) The pizza was re-heated and ready within 30 seconds. I'm really just not pleased with Vino's Pizza after my first, and possibly final visit. Went in looking for something quick to eat. Was going to go to Wawa for the second time that day, but decided this could be a good change of pace. Pizzas on display looked pretty good, so I ordered a few slices. Then I found out that they don't accept credit card. Seriously? What kind of pizza place doesn't take credit card at this point? Your pizzas all cost $20+ and you offer entrees that run you about $18 or $19. I would understand if you were a specialty shop with a few signature items, but your menu takes up half of an entire wall! So yeah, I had to use the ATM, which I never do because of fees. $2 fee by the ATM itself, $2-$4 fee coming from my bank, so right off the bat I'm down about $5. Then they ring up my 3 slices and fountain drink. $13.50! That's $4 a slice! Are you kidding? We're not at the Jersey Shore with slices twice of your head, we're in Pennsylvania. That's overpriced by about 40% easy. The pizzas are overpriced by about 33%. You're not selling gold, you're selling very average PA pizza. My chicken bacon ranch slices were extremely bland and disappointing. I'm sorry, but after ATM fees and overpriced slices, I spent around $19-$20 and left disappointed. One plus- They are actually Italian. I heard them speaking to each other and that gave me some for them. Because I know this is a family business and the pizza business is not easy, I'd never go with a 1-star, but there's a lot of room for improvement here. read more

Vino's is a solid pizza and that's mainly all I get there now. I've always enjoyed my meals from Vino's. The white pizza is among the best white pizzas around. Vino's is your run of the mill pizza/sandwich place. It won't introduce you to anything you've never had and it probably won't be something you're craving on your ride home from work but it fulfills its duty as a quick neighborhood spot. And one positive is that it's priced like one: nothing (that I order, at least) is overpriced. It's in the same complex as Wawa, which is a good thing because they don't accept credit cards and don't have an ATM. And to be fair, I've been ordering here for a year or so and they've never messed up any of my orders. Vino's doesn't quite deserve a 2 but still isn't a 3. I've been going here for 30 years. My wife and I order from here every Friday night and order various things. The pizza, Strombolis, lasagna, cheesesteaks and chicken parm sandwiches are fantastic. I highly recommend Vino's to anyone in the area! Side note...the owner, Pasquale, is from Naples, Italy. He does a tremendous job of making the food as authentic as possible. read more

Stop one on my new PIzza Tour through Lafayette Hill, Andora, and Roxborough. Vinos-- I stopped in for a couple slices and went back for a couple more. The crust is quality and service is right there with it. The toppings leave something to be desired. The pizza looks to be the best value based on the menu prices I saw. I ordered two large cheese pizzas from Vino's. The cheese was extremely sour. My wife and I got violently ill. We called the owner who was extremely loud and belligerent, and told us if we didn't like it to find a different pizza parlor. We are in the process of launching a complaint with the board of health. Very disappointed in Vino's tonight. Order was totally botched and I was told that I could come over again and they would redo it. No apology for the mistake, no accountability on their end.
