First time for lunch here while visiting a friend who works in the area. Service was friendly, albeit a bit slow, although there was no wait in front of us so it didn't impact us that much. I ordered the falafel classic and my friend ordered a wrap and a drink. The food here reminds me of CAVA and other potential Mediterranean themed make-your-own-bowl places I've had before. They've got a bit of a healthier theme here, and it feels a little less corporate. Drinks on tap are less standard and healthier. There are less but better quality topping choices. Prices are about the same though! I enjoyed the meal, but nothing too much more distinguishing it from other similar places. As for this particular shop, seats are abundant, including some nice shaded outdoor seating that we enjoyed because of the nice weather today. In a part of town where it is mostly American chain places, this is a welcome addition to the scene! read more

Excellent quality food for fast casual. They were but swamped when I came in at noon, but that's to be expected. The only complaint I have is that their lids do not function properly. I ended up putting a hair tie on the bowl when I got in the car because the lid just did not fit, which is pretty poor service in my opinion. I've been meaning to come back here since the Yelp Elite event - but I just never go to conshy. This weekend I was in the (finally) area w a friend and I made her stop to get some takeout. I ordered 2 meals w lamb meatballs - to die for. And my friend ordered the falafel. So many toppings to choose from and all were delish. I really wish there was a Mezeh in center city bc I would go all the time. I also turned my friend into a fan bc she texted me the next day that we need to make an excuse to go back to conshy for another mezeh bowl. My son and I went here for lunch today. It was our first time. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. As far as food, it was okay! If you're torn between Cava or Mezeh, the vibe is the same but personally feel that Cava has more of a bang when it comes to flavor. read more

The staff was really friendly and the place was so clean! I appreciated how filling, fresh, and large the portions were. However, it was almost $20 for my bowl, a can of soda, and a side pita. I'll start by saying that if you have children or interact with them, then you know that children can be your best critics because they are so honest. My 5 year old enjoyed the chicken kebab over brown rice and had this to say "the chicken is really impressive and tastes delightful!" So Mezeh for the WIN!! I chose to build my own bowl: Lamb kefta, brown basmati rice, lebanese tabbouleh, Israeli couscous, roasted eggplant, chickpea salad topped with tzatziki sauce with a side of harissa sauce. When i tell you I had to make a conscience effort to chew every bite and take my time because I almost inhaled the entire bowl in just a few minutes, that's how incredibly delicious it was!!! You can get a full or a half serving of protein and I went for the full which was four lamb kefta meatballs which were tender, juicy and packed with fresh herbs and spices. I wish i knew how they cooked the brown basmati rice so perfectly because I can never cook it this good at home! It was fluffy, fragrant and flavorful. What's really nice too is that Mezeh shows you the nutrition and allergens for each food item including the sauces. There's a list on the back of the paper menu. There's so many toppings to choose from, the possibilities are endless and just the sight of it all can be overwhelming but now that I've had the experience I feel like you can't go wrong with whatever you chose because even if you've never had it before there's no items that go in the bowl that don't taste like they should be in the bowl. So don't be hesitant to explore. You won't be disappointed! I can't wait to go back to try other toppings and sauces. Now that you know the food is on point, lets talk about my initial walk up to Mezeh and slight confusion. At this location there's two doors, one we'll call a side door and the other we'll call the front door. I didn't know which to open but maybe it was just me over thinking things lol I didn't want to pull the wrong door and it be locked lol This restaurant is petite so I just didn't understand why there were two separate points of entry so close together but maybe the idea is enter through the front and leave through the side? *elmo shrug* I guess it's nice to have options. Also, when I walked in I wasn't sure whether to go to the cashier or stand somewhere else to place my order. There was no line at the time I went nor was there any sign indicating "place order here" or something similar. So the cashier directed me to stand at the other end of the counter to place my order. It just would have been nice if a food services person was already standing down there to greet me or directed me to that area when I first walked in. The restaurant probably expects more takeout or online orders vs dine-in as the dine in area is small. There's only about 3 booths and 2 long high tables to stand or sit at. If you dine-in you will receive ceramic dishes for your bowl entrée and you have a choice of silverware vs plastic/paper. I dined at a booth and the booth was a little dirty so I took a star off for that. The table was a little greasy and had crumbs and little rice from the previous patron. So they could do a better job with having someone walking around to spruce up the dining area and empty the trash regularly because that was pretty full as well. We saw this place pop up near us and were curious to try it, so we did for lunch one recent Sunday. Online ordering was pretty easy, and they have a good allergy listing on their website too, which is always appreciated. After ordering, I went to pick up the food, and it was ready shortly after I arrived. The food is kind of similar to Cava in that it's Mediterranean food in a fast casual style (the interior looked a bit like Chipotle). Some of their ingredients were fresher, though (at least compared to the nearest Cava in Plymouth Meeting). Also, they did include the pita bread with the meal, unlike Cava which always seems to leave it out! I think we'll be back for more. I understand that there's some differences between the 2 with cooking style but i just find Mezeh to be really bland. The hummus, tzatziki and rice all are relatively flavorless in my view and the prices are on the higher side. The food was great. I ordered ahead and got the hot chicken bowl, comes with white rice, chicken shawarma, hummus, eggplant, cabbage slaw, beets & harissa. The best part that my wife enjoyed was the spicy feta dip - she said it was perfect. I ordered the meat lovers bowl and I was stuffed. I could probably finish half the bowl and I'm normally pretty hungry. Enjoyed the flavors of the chicken kebob and steak. The spicy mango was a nice touch. The spice is mild at best. One tip - it's a little tricky to get parking in the shopping center during peak times. There are not enough parking spots for the amount of foot traffic they get here so prepare accordingly. read more

TL;DL: Order from the app if you want respect. Saw the new-to-me place in Conshy and decided to check out the menu real quick on my phone and decided to order one of their Mediterranean pizza/flatbread items instead of their made-to-order bowls. Waited in line for a good 5+ minutes while they were making bowls, but when I tried to order my pizza, the guy told me that I had to order from the app instead of the counter and was kinda snarky that the instructions were CLEARLY written online. After I told him I went to the site to check out the menu not read of list of weird ordering rules written somewhere in fine print, he was insistent (or unable, I really dont care given such a stupid policy) that I had to order via the app. Since it was a ONE item order and I didnt feel like registering and setting up a credit card on another site taking another 5+ minutes, I said I wasn't interested (maybe too quietly given the noise) and then while walking away he made some hand gestures that I originally thought was indicating I should come back and maybe he could do something, but when I inquired what he wanted, he asked if I was going to order something I said no again, and then he was like "LATER" and then made an exaggerated waving-away motion while I walked out. Maybe this policy might make sense during a lunch rush-hour, but the place was 90% empty with 5+ employees around Saturday 5pm manning the store. read more

Very flavorful! And I was surprised how generous the portions were. I got the Chicken Chicken to eat in, and it was too much for me to finish. So I took the rest home, and that was enough for another meal for me. The variety of ingredients, and each one having its own flavor was more than I was expecting. Though I don't live that close, I'm definitely going to come back to try other items on the very interesting menu. I also liked the decor. Cool tiles that look genuinely Mediterranean, and nice colors all around. Though it's clearly a chain store, it felt unique. I'm not usually a bowls with a bunch of toppings kind of person, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious. Packed full of flavor and the toppings all blended so well. I got to try a few different items as I came with my family and it was all good. My kids LOVED the hummus. They couldn't get enough of it. Don't forget to get their drinks! The food is OK, but the people who work there clearly do not want to interact with customers. Last time I went the staff had their airpods in their ears and took a while to acknowledge that we were standing in front of them. It was odd. I also typically ordered the same thing when I was going here, and the price changed every time. Perhaps their prices are based on lunar cycles, or maybe the weather? I'm not sure. Needs better management! I have encountered two major problems from this place! One of them is when they ran out of flatbread and offered a refund for the entire order, would be credited the next day. Never did! Called multiple times for the refund and the response was refund department would calk back, never did! read more
