Great food but not a large enough space. You have to go outside of busy hours or you should plan to have an awkward wait with no place to actually wait. Service is always great and prices are fair. They really need to move to a larger establishment. read more

This was our first time to Amico's and weren't incredibly impressed. The venue is incredibly small and not conducive to ordering to-go. If you do order to-go, there's nowhere for you to stand or sit without being in the way. If we do come back, it'll likely be an order we call in and pick up when we know it's ready. It was also quite warm inside (it was a cooler rainy day), which made me happy that we weren't dining in. The staff were kind, but I do think their prices are a bit on the higher side. Now for the pizza. We got a meat lovers pizza with onion and olives. The onions were sort of thrown on the pizza haphazardly, so you didn't get much onion aside from one slice. The same with the ham. The sauce is pretty good and the crust is nice a crispy, but soft on the inside. read more

I really liked the pizza we got from here, it was loaded with toppings and tasted really good. We got the meat lovers pizza and it had a few different types of meat on it (pepperoni, sausage, ham, meatball) and we added on onion and olives. They definitely didn't skimp on any of the toppings and the big New York style slices had me full after two. It was a busy night and the staff was cranking out pizzas as fast as they could, but there's nowhere to stand/sit for takeout orders making it an uncomfortable experience. Pizza is good, but they need to do a better job at estimating their orders. Made an order, they said 45-50 minutes. Show up to get the pizza, not ready yet, they need another 15-20 minutes. This is so overdue... My husband and I spent a year coming to Amicos Sunday nights while we built our house. Now that we live here (3 years now) we've kept it a weekly visit... it NEVER gets old. Having moved here from Manhattan, I was worried I wouldn't find a phenomenal slice or solid buffalo wings. Amicos rivals any NY pizza joint and the wings are FANTASTIC!!! I have to say, I have been an Amicos fan since they opened. However, went in to grab food on Super Bowl Sunday and the manager was yelling at an employee. She looked completely embarrassed as did the staff and customers in the restaurant who all heard as well - there is never any reason for that type of behavior to happen openly. We used to go here frequently. Over a period of time we encountered some issues. The quality of the food started very good but over time it became mediocre at best. We also encountered issues with service personnel. There were 1or2 really good wait staff but had difficulties with others. Not sure we'll ever go back. read more

We ate lunch there this afternoon. Free garlic bread they gave out before the meal was perfection, great taste and baked just right. We ordered and split a XL pizza. Sauce was a little salt heavy but still pleasant. We had more than enough to take home. I can't actually wait to try the pizza tomorrow because we have found some NY style pizzas get better after they chill. Staff were great, and ambiance is typical which is nothing bad. read more

This place is amazing! I'm from South Florida and I haven't found many restaurants in Middle TN that remind me of home but this one does! They gave us complimentary garlic knots which were spot in. Then we started with medium wings and they were the best I've had in a long time! We ate them so quickly that I forgot to snap a photo but I'd highly recommend them! We also ordered a large pizza, half cheese and half Hawaiian. It was fantastic! Cooked perfectly and so flavorful! Everyone was super friendly and our server Libby was awesome! The ambiance is calm and the staff all seem to work together well. The manager was bussing tables because the bus boy had called out. Such great team work! Come here now. Don't even think twice! Pizza is good, BUT expensive!! Be careful with "build your own".... Toppings are extremely expensive.... $3.50 EACH, regardless of pizza size.... So if you are ordering a 14" medium, you are getting screwed. read more

It just occurred to me that, after all these years, I've never written a review for Amicos. We've been dining here for many years, and it never disappoints. Their Italian Stromboli is exceptional and has become our go-to favorite. While we've sampled various items from their diverse menu and found them all to be delicious, we always find ourselves returning to that Stromboli. This is a review of a New York style pizza place from a native New Yorker. Not an "I'm from upstate" New Yorker; I'm from the City. I moved to middle TN in 2007. Since that time there have been more than a few pizza joints open that claim to be "NY Style". Some of them better than others, but none currently open as good as Amico's! They have been our family's go-to for the better part of a decade. You can't go wrong with a to-go order of pizza, pasta, or a sub. Dining in is reminiscent of the "pizza parlors" of my youth; it's a casual atmosphere, suitable for families and kids. Service is friendly, food comes quickly, and the bill is very wallet friendly. Ordered through Door Dash...not sure if it was an issue with them or the restaurant. Waited over an hour for the food then it was cancelled. Tried to reorder and couldn't because the restaurant was closing. Do think after waiting all that time at least would have gotten some form of communication somewhere. While on vacation in the Nashville area we found this wonderful Italian restaurant!We were greeted warmly and they brought us the most delicious garlic knots! Our salads were fresh and delicious - perfect on a hot day. The caprice pizza was soo good. It had fresh ingredients and a well seasoned crust. Our friends loved their meat lovers pizza. We were all so happy with our choices and from the extra garlic bread knots our server brought us! Our server was very attentive bringing us refills before we needed them. He really took care of us creating a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant is located in a small strip center. It was nicely decorated and had a newer feel. Took a ride out to Nolensville to try Amico's New York Pizza, it's tucked in a plaza just North of the historic district. Jan met me at the door and got me seated, they were pretty busy with the Sunday lunch crowd. When she returned she brought a basket of what I will call their "heart attack rolls" (garlic bread) that soaks in their butter/olive oil "drizzle". The bread is really good...crispy outside and light as air inside. I ordered a medium cheese pizza (14") and it came out pretty quick. Would I consider this pizza "NY Style"? Absolutely! The crust is solid, crispy, and folds well without cracking. For me the mozzarella was a little chewy and I did add a splash of parmesan and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for more flavor...but overall a solid pie. Great place for pizza, a calzone and other Italian dishes! I was delivering a vehicle to a customer nearby and they invited me to join them for dinner. I ordered a Calzone and got all the ingredients of the Italian Stromboli. I've had my share of calzones, but this one was amazingly delicious! It was massive too! I also had some of their tasty sweet tea, which was one of the best I've tasted in Middle Tennessee. The ambiance is casual and good for groups. Amico's is a can't-miss restaurant in Nolensville. When I walked into the small pizza parlor for the first time, I had low expectations for pizza that claimed to be "NY Style". Now I'm on my 15th visit. The food was phenomenal. The pizza is unique from other locations within Nolensville, and everything seems to be in balance. The sauce; the cheese; the toppings; all in perfect equilibrium. The sandwiches are great, the pizza is amazing, and the service is very fast. We recently moved to Tennessee and one the search for GREAT food. Tucked away in Nolensville, we discútenos delicious gem. My husband ordered the meatball sandwich (ginormous), made with fresh baked French bread that was light and airy in the outside, perfectly crisp on the outside. I ordered eggplant Parmesan roll, that came with a side of fresher baked garlic rolls, doused with olive oil, minced garlic, and sprinkled with parsley. It also came with a side of spaghetti, made with an amazing marinara, made with San Marzo tomatoes, filled with a generous amount of ricotta cheese. Everything was beautifully seasoned and the generous portions make this place my new fave!!! P.S. the service... on point! Attentive and very informative. read more

What can improve at this place first the quality second the cost it is absolutely mid range. Pizza company is way, way to overpriced especially for the quality and amount of food you get. The sad thing about yelp. Is that most people on here think they know what they're talking about and they have actually no clue. If you wanna compare this pizza place to a standard like Domino's or Pizza Hut then yes I would give it above average, but if you're going to compare it to legitimate pizza parlors, for example anywhere in the Northeast New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts then you're looking at maybe a three or four out of 10. And to anyone who "" claims "they're from New York City or one of the boroughs and this restaurant is as good as those pizza places in the northeast then you are an absolute idiot or total trash and above all ignorant. read more

When we went it was super busy (on a Thursday!) but they're pizza was good, and I loved the salad I ordered.

There isn't anything not to like about this place. Service was A+, meatballs were pretty solid, salsa are enough trouble share, and the pizza is some of the best in Nashville. Really, just a solid place to take a family for lunch or dinner. If I had to give them one complaint... I wish more restaurants used/provided filtered water for their customers meals. The water source, has a pretty high chlorine smell//taste. Outside of that, great place. read more
