By far my favorite brewery on my Tallahassee trip! The building was such a cool cozy vibe and full of history. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable and created such a welcoming space. Their beers are delicious and they have ample variety. I had the transfiguration and prickly in pink and they did not disappoint. Grab your friends and enjoy their beautiful outdoor space and their rotation of food trucks.

What a cool place in a historical building. The staff were passionate about the history and the story of the building. Really great beer selection. Would recommend the visit. Also great merch selection.

Cute spot!! We loved the cider and beers that we ordered. Great property with lots of outdoor seating. Staff was a bit grumpy tonight but we had a great time.

This is a great new place for brews. There is ample indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. They have food trucks, live music, and a lot of special events. It is accessible to wheelchairs and has an area for kids to play games as well. The biggest challenge is parking, but there is plenty nearby if you don't mind a little walk. The service is great, too!

Chocolate stout beer - 5 dollars for half

Visited Cascade Park and was looking for a decent place for lunch. Amicus was recommended, and was walking distance. Upon entering, I saw an outdoor seating area where most people were, and a food truck. I ordered chicken wings from that truck (10 dollars) and was told that they can serve it indoors at the brewery. So, I went inside, which didn't have many patrons sitting there. I ordered a chocolate stout (5 dollars for half), then sat myself at an open seat in the bar. The chocolate stout was surprisingly bitter, most likely from the hops. But it was still refreshing, even though it could have been a bit cooler as well. The chocolate did offset the bitterness of the beer. My chicken wings came a short time later, and it came with 8 small wings with the requested Nashville Hot sauce. Most of the wings were wing instead of drums, and looked to be fried. The meat was crispy and the sauce had the right amount of heat. I wished it was grilled or broiled instead as I prefer the meat to be more tender. I thought the Nashville Hot would have been a rub instead of sauce. There was a nice amount of the sauce as it got messy. Service was fine. I was given plenty of napkins and utensils. They had no wet wipes, but I was given a wet napkin instead to clean my hands. The indoor area had an ample amount of seating , but the party was outdoors with the crowd over there. At least there was background music inside. I am glad to see local breweries, and Amicus is a nice addition to Tallahassee. It is near cascade park, where you can walk off your beer belly afterwards. The food truck is from a third party, but I forgot its name. They partnered with Amicus so I added the food comments as well. I would visit there again when in Tallahassee.

We thought we should leave the long high top tables for larger parties. We chose to sit at a smaller table for four along the window wall. The chairs seem too short for the tables along the window. The restaurant is sleek and modern. Eye-catching decor that is visually appealing. We watched servers and management walked by our table several times in a five minute period and not a single person greeted us. We finally flagged down what appeared to be a manager, and asked if we could be served. They abruptly left the table, more minutes past, and eventually a server came to the table, dropped menus, and left. We waited another five minutes and finally flagged the server down to take our order. I've never experienced this, but the server requested a credit card immediately to start a tab. We said we were paying cash and only planning to order a sandwich and an iced tea. She stated that was the policy so if you are arriving with no credit card in hand, it is possible, you can't be served. Cash is not king here. My dining companion really wanted to try the Italian beef sandwich so we ordered one entree to split. He ordered an unsweet iced tea and I drank water. The food arrived promptly and the bowl presentation was acceptable. The sandwich is served on top of smashed potatoes that are probably baked. There was a gravy at the bottom of the bowl, which was I think was the au jus meant to dip the sandwich. The bread was not fresh. The sandwich was hot and tasty. The meal was enough for two people, but the server didn't bring a plate for the shared portion. We flagged another server and requested and received a plate. The total was $25. My dining companion had visited the restaurant for breakfast several weeks earlier. He noted the food was good and the service was efficient. I hope our visit today was not the norm because we felt totally ignored. We decided if we chose to return in the future we would have to sit at the bar to be able to be served on a timely basis, if at all.

There are firepits and a rotation of food trucks to make every visit unique. Plus, it's dog friendly!! I personally am a huge fan of wheat beers, and their Satsuma Wheat holds the crown. I have tried Lake Tribe beers before at the Tally Beer Fest and enjoyed them, so I was excited to try a wider array of their selection. I truly enjoyed their gluten-free seltzer, pineapple brew, and a piña colada version as well. They do not have their own food on site, so make sure to check out which food truck will be there before arriving. Seating is limited, but you can bring your own foldoutout chair and there are picnic tables available outside with some high tops inside. I can see how this space would be refreshing during cooler months and will circle back in fall for sure. As the heat begins encroaching upon Tallahassee, make sure to dress appropriately and wear or bring bug spray, as the area is a bit woodsy near the back of the warehouse where the brewery is housed. The service there is polite and they do their best to make sure there isn't a ton of foam on each pour.

They had 12 beers on tap the night I visited and I tried a flight of four. I really didn't care for their beer. The four in the flight that I tried: I thought that one was good, one was marginal, and two were just nasty (sorry, but I couldn't get past the first sip on those two). Overall, not a fan of the beers I tried (but I did try only four), didn't like the atmosphere, or the location. That said, perhaps it's a nice respite for those who live in that area or go to school there.
