This company is a total scam. Took a fare from Sydney Airport to Chatswood (about 20km). Have taken this same trip many, many times and the fare is always $60-$80... but with Taxi1, $133. I have requested an itemisation but have been ignored by Taxi1. Now time to report to Point to Point and lodge a dispute with my Credit Card company. Total SCAM, avoid at all costs. read more

This cab was staked out at the airport and waiting for arriving passengers. I quickly grabbed it--I asked if he would mind waiting a minute for my checked bag, and he was fine with that. A co-worker and I needed a cab ride back to our homes which were around Van Giesen Ave in Richland. The fare ended up coming to $35 (seemed a bit high to me). I only had a dollar for a tip, but he was fine with that. They take credit cards. read more

I gave this taxi company another try this week, and will never be calling them again! I called the day before to make a reservation for a taxi to the airport at 4:30 AM. The taxi never showed up! When we called to check on the cab, they said they outsource their morning calls to another company, and that the taxi should be on its way. They said they'd look into it and call us back, but never did. I am horrified by the unreliability and poor customer service Taxi 1 offers. Stay away! read more

I could tell. Vin' got me all set up for 50% less than the other four taxi co.s. I prepaid via SMS from SQUARE receipt was text messaged to me! SCARY at first. Cool though. Paid for COST o trip n TIP PAIDED via DEBIT CARD. No worries as they said years ago. Got receipts via text. They called my cell to confirm that it was me. COOL. The rest is about my experience. Driver "Robert", was on time. Called me to confirm directions. Called when he was in my driveway. I bought 5-7 small bags of products.Driver HELPED UN LOAD taxi. I didn't ask. I called Taxi 1 to get to the airport from PNNL. The driver was 20 minutes later than I was told they'd be, and was short with me when I called several times to ask where'd he was. On the trip to the airport he tried to drive around traffic, which I now know from driving myself to the airport was unnecessary. As we get to the airport, he tell me he doesn't have airport taxi privileges and has to let me off at the boundary of the airport. Plus, it was more expensive than it should have been. We were picked up at the airport the first day we arrived in Pasco. The whole week we have been here we have been using A1 Taxi. Our driver Dustin who was super friendly and very accommodating. Being local to the area he was very knowledgeable of the best routes to go and had excellent shopping and restaurant advice. He knew so much about the area and was a great driver. This was the worst taxi service I have ever used. We were driven 6.3 miles and it cost us $32.00!! I could not believe it. On top of it, the driver was a terrible driver. He drove in the middle of the road and almost ran a stop sign. He didn't know how to use the car, so the windows were completely fogged over and he couldn't see the road. Nothing but convenient and pleasant. I called the night before to reserve for an early morning ride to the airport, and they quickly took the necessary information and confirmed my reservation. I slept through my alarm, and woke this morning to a call from the driver at precisely the pickup time, just letting me know he was there when I was ready. He waited 7 minutes for me to frantically grab my things, and kept his calm attitude and friendly nature for the entire ride to the airport. Paying by credit card was easy with his Square app, and he really saved me with the wakeup call and getting me to the airport on time and without stress. He couldn't have done anything better! This is bad! Don't call. my 15-20 wait ended up being 40 and as I watched the driver finally come into view he took a wrong turn. When he did arrive in the mini-van it was dirty and smelled bad. There was no info about company or driver in vehicle and had I not been desperate I would have gotten out. I spent 7.75 and could see my home and my final bill was just under 14.00 for a 5 minute drive. Cab was sent to wrong address and I nearly missed my flight having to make other arrangements. I called the day before and booked a 4:45am pickup for a 6am flight out of Pasco. At 4:45 the driver called saying he was three minutes late. He called five minutes later and said he had arrived. But he wasn't in my drive way. He said he was at a Pasco address and I live in Kennewick. Do not chance it if you want stress free travel plans and pick a different company. Good luck. read more

Called and needed taxi to hotel near airport. They told me about a 45 minute wait which was ok. Received call right back that they had a cancellation and ride could be there in 8 minutes or so. Driver arrived in about 5 minutes was very kind and helpful given my out of it state. They did a great job!! read more

Horrible service. Our driver came to pick us up in a tiny car that we barely fit in and was super uncomfortable. My seat belt didn't even work. I gave the cab driver the address and had to spell the name of the street. I watched on the map on my phone and he went the longest way he could and to the wrong address. His directions would tell him to go left and he would go right. We ended up on the right street, but the wrong end, which was another 2 miles away. He wouldn't stop talking the entire time, asking us dumb questions about where we are from, clearly not trying to get us to our destination as quickly and efficiently as possible. We finally got to where we needed to be, which was ONLY 4.3 MILES AWAY, our total was almost $35!!! WTH?!?! I would have rather walked. We chose another cab company for our ride back to the hotel and our total was $12.40. This place is a rip off. read more

Called Taxi 1 for a quote from Pasco airport to Columbia Center(8.2 miles) and quoted $15-$20. Budget car was $26.32, so went with Taxi 1 for convenience. BIG mistake. The driver took the long way around the river, he told us it was faster, which it wasn't . And the cost was $40! When we started complaining that he wasn't going the way we usually went and the meter already was passed the quoted amount, he blamed his boss for quoting wrong. Told us he misquotes all the time! Booked a taxi 3 days in advance, even got a call back confirming date, time and address etc.. Day of pick up, no call, no show. Ended up calling to find out they didn't have us scheduled and have two companies scheduling? In my opinion maybe we should've been double booked then, instead of not being picked up at all. 42 fake on three, drove ourselves, thanks Taxi 1 for the no show and the extra cost for long term parking. Worst experience ever. Guy was supposed to pick us up at 4:30 am to take us to the airport and arrived at 5 am with another guy already in the cab. We have to rush to the airport with snow everywhere with my family and no enough seat belts for everybody. Risking my family life including my 3yo kid because of the total lack of responsibility of this company. The guy was on the phone receiving calls and calling people while driving in this weather. Very unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable. After picking me up at 3am the driver started talking about smoking weed and if I wanted to hang out with him. He started asking questions about where I lived and if I was alone. I had him drop me off a little ways from my apartment and it cost $20 for less than 4 miles. Once I had payed and tipped him he stated that I have nice breasts and was asking me to show them to him and that he'd give me a discount card for the next time. I had just been at a bar and was getting away from a guy that was bothering me only to get a taxi driver that did the same thing. Horrible service. Made an appointment to go to the airport and they never showed up. Had to leave car in long term parking and now will pay $100 for that. I had no other ride for the plane and family is all coming on the vacation with us. When we called manager to file a complaint they did not apologize and said that basically we could take him to small claims court for money it cost us to park at airport but didn't even apologize for the cab driver not showing. I had a 6:00AM flight this past Sunday and I had called Taxi 1 the night before to reserve a taxi at 4:40AM. At 2:00AM I received a phone call from a Taxi 1 driver waking me up saying they were there at the hotel to pick me up, and when I called back to their dispatch they told me they made a mistake in telling the driver to come to my hotel instead of picking up another customer at a bar. I told the dispatch to make sure they sent back another cab for my correct time at 4:40AM and they said no problem. At 4:45AM I called back to the dispatch since the Taxi 1 driver was still not at the hotel and they said that they now wrote down the time by mistake for 5:40AM and that they didn't have anyone to pick me up now and I would miss my flight. Luckily, another person at the hotel gave me Rad Cab's phone number and they sent someone over right away to pick me up so I could make my flight. I travel all the time and never had this bad of an experience as with Taxi 1. When in Kennewick WA, call Rad Cab and don't use Taxi 1, as Taxi 1 is completely incompetent. read more
