Just something to think about because JC penny allows you to buy items a la cart and we always take our Christmas pics and cards, and only spend about $50 with their specials, good quality too. They don't tell you about prices obviously until you are there after your session and I wish I hadn't assumed, I purchased the "specials package" but I feel dooped & will not be going back.

He is so polite, gives his all, and is so joyful to work with. My husband doesn't really smile well in photos... but John's personable personality quickly warmed him up and we had some great engagement photos of my husband. His package prices are in the mid range. not too cheap and not too expensive. But he went WAYY over what he was paid for. He volunteered to come to our rehearsal so that everyone feels comfortable around him the next day. He showed up early to take family photos before the ceremony. and he stayed after until EVERYTHING was done. and quality! He asked me what kind of style I want. So I thought pictures shouldn't be hard to get. But none of the pictures we got from them turned out remotely as gorgeous as the ones we took ourselves the next day when we had a small party there. The downtown lights were muted which I'm perplexed about because it's so bright and there's so much of it out there. My other issue is that we specifically asked for him not to be all up in our faces during the proposal to allow for more privacy and a special moment. But he strong-handed us into making a big scene and deal of it and I say that because during the session I said no and yet he did it anyway. It ended up ruining the proposal and I would have expected more from such a highly rated photographer. That is a once in a lifetime thing and he decided he wanted to ruin it.
