You can tell the coffee is good quality, and the pastries are made in-house -- which is a big plus, since you can actually see the kitchen equipment and how clean everything is. The croissants are huge; we tried the chocolate one -- delicious dough and plenty of filling. The strawberry cheese Danish was another great choice. The chocolate ganache and raspberry tartlet didn't quite convince me, though. At the table next to us, they ordered some sandwiches (very large, by the way) and a soup or stew that, when they lifted the lid, filled the place with an incredible aroma... very tempting. It's definitely on my list to return. Next time, it'll be for lunch.
